Ch. 12 Calamity

I was nervous while entering the room, knowing that some of them used to be my enemies, wait...they're still my enemies right?

Titus noticed me and got up from his sit, then approached me and welcomed me.

Titus: Greetings Jade, we've been waiting.

When they heard my name, all of them looked at me, maybe they're judging me or something since I've been in the side of the Sins more, although unlike in here, the sins aren't yet completed.

Titus: Please have a seat.

Jade: Mhm.

I take my seat and Sia started talking.

Sia: How's your stay in Eclair?

Jade: Same as always.

Titus: Then I'm glad to hear that.

Looking around, Dia seemed to be absent. Maybe she have to do some errands. When I sat down someone I don't know talked to me but he's probably one of the heroes. He have a long white hair and he's big but I'm not sure if that's just me because he's in seating position.

???: So you're Jade?

Jade: Yes, my name's Jade Springfield.

Raijin: oh uhm, Raijin Akibara, Hero of the Axe.

When he said that, I noticed the other two that I haven't met yet.

Jade: And the two of you are?

Lansa: Lansa Sigil Hero of the Spear.

Lansa had a fade away hair while wearing a formal wear, a tuxedo and he looks like a businessman.

Helina: Helina Merlin Hero of the Bow.

Helina seems to be wearing a frilly blouse and has a twist braided hair, her hair looks like it's been toasted HAHAHAHA! just kidding her hair was brown.

Raijin: Hey I'm still talkin to you!

Jade: Oh, My apologies for that.

Raijin: We heard from the king that you're not one of the sins.

Jade: Yes, I believe so.

Helina: But you're not a hero either which are you then?

Jade: I don't know the answer yet.

I feel like this is more of a Q and A rather than having a feast plus most of them are cautious of me.

Lansa: Excuse me but I'll be on my way now.

Helina: Hey, Wa-wait for me!~

Lansa cleaned his mouth with the towel like a high class aristocrat and left the room along with Helina. The king seems to be quiet for some reason.

Raijin: Lansa is always like that, he can't even welcome a guest!

Sia: Yeah! What a jerk.

Schild: *haha* Let's just leave them alone for now.

Jade: I'm with Schild on this one.

Raijin: So if you aren't one of the sins nor the heroes then what are you?

Jade: Same question.

Some of the familiar faces started talking and had some conversations.

Cara: Hey remember me?!

Jade: Pft...how could I?, We just fought the other day.

Bishou: Where's your friend?!

Jade: Oh you mean Leo?

Bishou: Duuuh~ who else?! I still owe him a payback. *smirk*

Bishou then cracks her fingers and made a smirk.

Cara: Have a rematch with me now!

Raijin: Hey, let me in on that!

Sia: What you're gonna go at it?! Let me join!

Schild: Sis, don't be so reckless. *worried*

We talked and talked after some time the king started speaking.

Titus: Eherm, as you may know, Jade is not one of the sins nor heroes but I asked him if he can help us in the upcoming calamity.

The room became quite while the king was speaking.

Titus: The calamity will be in different areas especially the seven kingdoms that are connected with us, those are the kingdom of Sove, Sigurd, Dritiron, Luvino, and Zera and the Last is Eclair, Each of the heroes are summoned in each kingdom, as of now like I said we're still unsure where Jade came from and what's his purpose was but every choice he makes will be his and his alone.

Geez, you say that but you abducted me and forced me to join your problem.

Raijin: If you're saying that, that means that the calamity is about to happen.

Titus: Yes, and right now the calamity will start at the kingdom of the Dritiron.

Bishou: Hey! that's the kingdom where I was summoned.

Titus: Well then if possible let the others know and we'll move out.

Cara: I shall do so.

Cara then left the dining hall and called the others. Since I'm already in here might as well help them.

Raijin: We should be ready to depart.

Bishou: Agreed.

Sia: This'll be awesome!

Schild: You never listen sis. *poker face*

The king stood and spoke this time not just for the heroes and me but for the kingdom too.

Titus: I'll warn you all now!, this is not for the faint of heart those who are afraid leave immediately and be ashamed on how pathetic you are! This battle is not only for our kingdom now, it's for the others too! Childrens, Parents, Villages, Kingdoms we are all in this together we will bring honor not only for us but for everyone!

After the King made that speech everyone screamed and hailed the king.

Guards: YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

Raijin: You heard him!

Bishou: Hmpf! I just need to find him and kill him!

Jade: You're still on that?!

Sia: HAHAHAHAHA!

Schild: Well you can't blame her.

Cara along with Lansa and Helina came and listened to the kings speech.

Titus: The calamity will take place at the kingdom of Dritiron it will start one day from now therefore we shall make haste and get in there immediately! I've already sent Dia to warn the King in the Dritiron for the upcoming calamity.

So that's where Dia was.

Soon after the feast, the heroes and the knights were dismissed and sent to their homes to get ready for the departure.
