After the week which was supposed to be for relaxation, Ren met Hokage as promised and both of them went inside a secret anbu base.

This one was different from the one before because it was located underground near the Market area . Ren was impressed by the structure of the base because it had many floors which were very spacious and suitable for living and training inside.

Hokage entrusted Ren to Kakashi who was wearing his Dog mask unnecessarily because it was too easy to recognize him from his white hair and anbu mask plus unique style with head protector. Ren wanted to have a talk with Kakashi but was surprised to find that he came here today to resign from anbu.

Ren did not mind though but was still a little sad as he would have complete tasks under an unfamiliar captain in future most likely . Kakashi took some of his time and introduced the basic layout of the base to Ren . It was not necessary though because with max Uzumaki bloodline, Ren had awakened skill called Mind Eye . It was a great passive skill because Ren could see many kilometers area around him all the time unnoticed and the best thing was that he would not get much mentally tired by using this skill . So Ren had long ago scanned the whole base including all the secret rooms too .

" Ren kun , meet your senpai Fox . He is same age as you and I can guarantee his talent . Both of you carry on from now as it's time to leave for myself now . " Kakashi left with Body Flicker Jutsu .

Ren grinned and shook his hand with Itachi feeling excited to meet a great character who had to follow a tragic fate . Ren had decided to make Itachi his friend long ago so it was practically decided that there would be no Uchiha massacre this time .

" My name is Ren Black . I'm a very straightforward and honest person so let me ask you then. Will you become my friend ? "

Itachi seemed surprised by Ren's first meeting words and smiled after taking his mask off . Ren also smiled and both of them shook hands to congratulate their friendship.

Ren dragged the unwilling Itachi into a secular corner and flashed a mysterious smile at him.

" Now then we are friends so let me share a little secret with you ! " Ren released Itachi from his grip and activated 3 tomoe sharingan in both eyes .

" You... Uchiha? " Itachi's stoic face was greatly shocked this time which made Ren feel good as emotionless face on a kid does not not suit him .

" Hehe.. now do not share this fact with others because it will be our little secret. Oh.. " Ren said slowly and took out a black ring from his inventory.

" Take this ring as a first gift from your new friend ! " Ren passed the ring to Itachi which he did not refuse but Itachi just looked blankly at the ordinary ring which did not give off any chakra fluctuations .

Ren grinned at this reaction and decided to surprise Itachi . He suddenly moved his hand with great speed and Itachi could not react . Ren bit Itachi's finger with his teeth and dropped a drop of blood on the ring which shined with weak light for a while and left Itachi speechless .

Itachi was feeling the power difference with Ren and wanted to speak something when his mind somehow gained a connection with the plain ring on his palm . Itachi focused his mind on feeling the connection out of curiosity and was speechless to see his consciousness connecting to the ring and seeing one cubic meter space sealed inside the ring . His eyes shone with light and Itachi could not help but feel complex emotions about this new crazy friend of his . Ren was truly my pace guy and even gave him such a great treasure . Itachi's calm and sharp mind was running at fast speed but he could not find the right words to convey to Ren . So in the end Itachi could only say " Thank You " in a low voice and started playing with the ring on his finger with a smile on his face .

Ren heard Itachi and was glad to make such an intelligent friend who already understood the way to use space ring without Ren explaining anything . The space ring was not a product from this world at all because Ren was the one who created some during his free time using his imagination and Creation Skill . Ren had the space affinity and tried this idea because he suddenly remembered the Wuxia novels from Earth and the items used by cultivators in them . He had always found such items versatile and useful but did not expect to actually succeed in creating one. Ren now understood that he could create any non living thing with his skill as long as he had enough chakra and good image inside his mind . At first to create one space ring , Ren needed to expend 20 percent of his High Chunin Class chakra when using suppresion seal . But after Ren got familiar with the process , his image got more solid holding the real product in his hand so the process became easy and now it only took about 5 percent of his chakra to create one ring in just about three minutes ! Ren once again realised that his ability was Godly and was not limited to the items of this world .

After talking for few minutes , Itachi was kind enough to not ask about the origin of the ring and showed Ren his living space and library where he could learn any skill from during his training period here . Ren smiled as he watched Itachi's leaving back because he did not plan to train here for a year . Ren would just train skills like information gathering, making traps etc for a month along with some NINJUTSU. He planned to challenge his new anbu capatin then and casually become an official anbu after defeating him . It was necessary to show his dominance to future team members after all to receive more respect and difficult missions which gave more merit compared to normal ones .
