Thousand Blows to the Heart

The lousy mutt labeled god was totally powerless and it couldn't even speak. Not to mention it should have recovered its sight by now, but unfortunately it had bruises all over its face. They were so swollen that it completely covered its eyes. After it tried to "intimidate" Hermes, it got the beating of its life.

Hermes was kind enough to only do this to one of its heads, but the foolish god couldn't help but curse at him.

Angered by the words of a inferior creature and a monster no less, it earned him another beating.

The gods continued to discuss and clamor as they repeatedly insulted and commented on the strange creature.

"UGLY"

Uhhhh!, -779 HP

"DISGUSTING"

Ouch!, -6969 HP

"WIERD"

Ooofff! -11235 HP

Each insult was a blow to its meager little heart and it was left with a mere sliver of its confidence left.

"Wuuuuuuu, dame you all to hell!", thought the wronged god. It didn't dare voice this outload with so many powerful figures around. It could only swallow its anger as they nonchalantly continue to jab at it with their sharp tongues. (It just might go there someday for real though...)

A monster with a lower body of a huge spider and an upper body of a woman, "Is it a chimera?"

She looked at another monster that had a goat and lion head along with a snake tail.

It looked offended, "No chimera is this ugly, don't insult my kind!"

"Well sorry for bring down your entire species, you f*cker!", thought the pitiful god. It took another jab to the heart.

The spider woman then went to ask all her allies affiliate with different mythologies for their opinions as all the greek ones, don't seem to know.

"Never seen it"

"My Egyptian realm has several monster and animal creatures but never one as strange as this."

"It has wings, so maybe it's a griffin."

"No,no,no, it can't be! They exist in all sorts of realms just like phoenixes and dragons, but its always consistent with their appearance"

While there was a heated discussion, Hermes and the mystery man already finished their transition and the "key" was handed over to the man.

Nobody could tell but the mystery man count faintly see a slight lift in Hermes supposed frown as he handed over the mutant of a god. After all he and his brothers faction just lost a major territory that supplied them with faith.

As a god of darkness he could easily detect such negative emotions and actions. Nevertheless the man got what he wanted and payed no attention to Hermes slight change in expression. With the deal done Iris was released and allowed to transport the rest of Apollo's allies away.

When the last god, Apollo was left, he looked at the mystery man one last time with intense hatred. He swore to himself they he would avenge his champion, defeat his siblings for the throne, and reclaim the world he lost.

While he stepped on a rainbow, he entered hyperspace and all he could see was white lines that seem to be moving in rapid motion. While being transporting he couldn't help but think about figuring out the origins of the mystery man.

There were many god affiliated with darkness and its counterpart, light. Being god of the sun and light he was part of that faction as well, but for the man to be so powerful and un-noticed it was unusual...

He had no time to continue pondering over this as the hyperspace travel ended and he arrived at his location.

What greeted him as paradise and a sacred mountain where the very tip of it was obscured with clouds that made mortal unable to pry their eyes through it.

The environment was tranquil and perfect at the foot of the mountain. Many rainbows where present and a lush forest was surrounding the mountain. Many nymphs and tree spirits where frolicking around and there where long bodies of water that glistened under the protection of river gods. In those rivers where water nymphs that sang beautiful songs that were pleasant to the ears.

Many centaurs and satyrs who had human upper halves and animal lower halves where seen maintaining the forest.

Staring at the mountain he paid no heed towards the environment as he is already use to the sight, he flew towards the clouds and see a golden gate guard by 4 beautiful maidens.

Each had a severely different temperament and outfits. They were the goddesses of the seasons and the ones who guarded the gates of Olympus, the Horae! The 4 maidens wore different colored tunics that corresponded with their season. For winter she wore a cool colored blue tunic, for spring she had light green, for fall a warm reddish brown, and for summer a fiery orange-yellow.

When they saw Apollo they immediately let him in and opened the gates. Apollo didn't bother with greeting them and rushed into the hallway.

While he entered, the goddess of the season were very polite and seemed to take their job very serious.

Once Apollo was out of sight:

"OMG did you hear!??!!!?", the goddess of the Spring blurted out with excitement.

"IKR!!!!", the Summer goddess chimed in excitedly.

"He's so totally f*cked!!!", the Fall goddess laughed

"Hahaha", the Goddess of winter giggles quietly.

These ladies weren't only the guardians of the gate, but infamous gossipers as well!

They weren't exactly subtle and Apollo totally heard all of it with his authority as a god of music his ears are exceptionally good... Apollo's heart took damage!

A bright flash bang blasted and the servants that where in hall where crying on the floors screaming, "My eyes!!!!"

After flaring up he solemnly clears through the hallway and enters a dinning room with golden furniture and marble pillars supporting the interior.

As gods, they were hyper rich tycoons and could afford such luxuries. In the room was a long table enough to fill 12. On the table where various foods and were the god can feast on ambrosia as much as they please.

Ambrosia is nothing but food for the gods but if a mortal creature managed to get their hands on it would totally elevate their powers and grant a longer lifespan. Very few are allowed this privilege and only mortals favored by the gods such as Apollo's champion ever ate such divine item.

Apollo dreaded coming to the dinning room as he was bound to meet his siblings. Once he entered the room he immediately spotted a man in armor who wore a cocky smile. Next to him was a slightly plump man who held a cup full of wine with a red face. Both were smirking at him arrogantly.

"Sigh.... let's get this over with", Apollo though as he braced himself.
