15 To Love
It's 7:28 am and Izumi is sitting next to the window of their apartment. Thinking about his past life and his failures. He's thinking about his parents too. He was about to cry because he wants the love of a parent. And then he whispered to himself:
Izumi:
"Father... Mother... I have come a long way, I can protect myself. But this journey isn't done yet, I have a long way to go."
That is what he said.
He always telling to himself that;
"The only thing was allowed to do is to believe that we won't regret the decisions we've made."
He's always thought is to keep moving forward, until the day he dies.
And after that, He took a bath and change his clothes and go to school. And he said:
"Aight... It's time to learn."
From weak to strong. You can see the change in his body. Before he starts his training, his body is thin, but after the training, he knows a well-built man with dark black hair with an undercut and gray eyes (dead look). He is now always wearing a pair of thin-framed glasses and a calm apathetic expression. That's why girls are falling in love with him.
*Lunch Break*
He is going to the rooftop with Kazuki to sleep. Until someone tried to confess her feelings to him.
A girl:
"Umm... err... Can I talk to you for a second? There is something I'd like to tell to you."
She shyly said it.
Izumi is confused about what she will say. and he agrees with her.
Izumi:
"Sure... Kazuki can you go without me?
He asked calmly.
Kazuki:
" 'kay... I'll wait for you there."
He said it while yawning.
Izumi and the girl go to the backyard of the school.
The Girl:
"My name is Hiezell... And since the day you transferred here, I've been admiring you. Umm... Can you be my Boyfriend?!?!"
She embarrassedly said this.
Izumi was surprised at what she said. Izumi whispered to himself that she's a beautiful girl. But Izumi is thinking carefully about this confession, because he thinks that if she knows the fact that he's a half-human and half-demon, maybe this girl will expose him and could lead him to death.
Izumi:
"Hiezell... right?"
He asked calmly.
Hiezell:
"Yes."
She replied.
Izumi:
"Yes, you're a beautiful person, but, the real thing is, I can't accept it. I have a person I like, so I can't accept it."
He humbly said this.
Hiezell:
"Ahhh, okay, it's okay... I understand that a person like you will like someone. But can I ask who she is?"
She replied as if she was downed.
Izumi:
"Hmmmmm... I can't tell you her name but I can tell you what kind of girl she is.
She's like a cherry blossom, that blooms in your eyes, she's nice, intelligent, she's kind to others, and she's humble. And of course, she's a beautiful person."
He was looking at the clouds when he said this.
Hiezell:
"Ahhh... Okay... well, It's time for me to go to the canteen (cafeteria). I'm a bit hungry... well see ya!!!"
She's sad but she's fighting it. She doesn't want to be emotional in front of him.
(she walked out)
Izumi:
"Damn... looks like I overdid it. Well, that doesn't matter to me tho. Kc is the person I like after all. But that girl tried her best to confess her feelings to me, but I turned her down as nothing happened. I wonder... when will I confess my feelings to Kc? Will she accept it or reject it? Nahhhh, there's no time to think. Aight... Time to go to the rooftop."
He looked at the tree then he looked at the sky and with a deep breath when he said this. After that, He jumps to the building to go to the rooftop.
Izumi didn't know that the person he likes (Kc) was listening to their conversation.
Kazuki:
"What took you so long?"
He asked while his eyes are closed.
Izumi:
"The girl from before confess her feelings to me."
He replied.
Kazuki:
"So... did you accept it?"
He asked.
Izumi:
"Of course not. There's a person I like, y'know."
He is about to take a nap here.
Both Kazuki and Izumi take asleep. They skipped the next class (The class after lunch.).
After school, Kc asked Izumi for a favor to go to their house together. Izumi agreed to what she said and they went home together.
Kc tried to bring up a topic while walking. This topic is about love. Because Kc wants to say something to Izumi.
Kc:
"Izumi... is there a girl... you like? Or something?"
She asked calmly.
Izumi:
"Hmmm... yes, I have... How about ya? I thought you know the fact that John is from the past? Right?"
He replied while yawning.
(Izumi is listening to a piece of music, with earphones, of course.)
Kc:
"Actually... I heard you and Hiezell talk to each other, about the confession. And I was surprised when you turned her down."
She said it while looking at the way.
Izumi was surprised by what she said, but, he acts calm as always.
Izumi:
"Ahh... I see. Then you heard about my feelings towards you?"
He said it calmly.
Kc:
"Yes."
She replied.
Izumi:
"I see."
He said it while yawning.
Kc:
"Why aren't you surprise by the fact that I found your secret?"
She asked curiously.
Izumi:
"Nothing... really... I don't care about the fact that you'd found my secret. It's okay. It's less pain in the ass. I have to overcome my fear, There's a quotes that is like a motivation to me:
"Rejection is a part of any man's life. If you can't accept and move past rejection, or at least use it as a writing material, you're not a real man."
That's why if you reject me, that's okay... I understand it."
He said it calmly but deep inside his nervous.
Kc stopped to walk and look down.
Kc:
"Th-that's not true."
She said it with a low voice.
Izumi:
"Huh? Why'd you stopped? You sayin' something?"
He said it with a badass voice but there is no expression on his face.
Kc:
"I said... I LIKE YOU."
And yes, she confessed, she shouted it.
(Silence for a moment after the confession)
Izumi:
"The wind passes by and it's silent. So, that's it? The last page has been written. "Even if love doesn't come true"."
He whispered to himself with a surprised face.
Izumi was surprised and yet he felt like he's excited than before. He stops to listen to the music. And he look down and said:
"Could you repeat... what you said?"
Kc:
"I said I like you, I like you because your the man who fits in my eye. You met my expedition. That's why..."
She said it while looking at Izumi.
Izumi runs to Kc's place and hugs her. Tightly.
Kc:
"I-Izumi?"
She said surprised. She was surprised that Izumi hugged her. And she hugs her back too.
Izumi:
"Sorry... But I've never felt this happy before. Can I hug you for a moment?"
He said it like he was crying.
Kc:
"Sure."
And she hugs her back too.
After they hug... Izumi said something;
Izumi:
"I Didn't know the fact that you like me too... huh? Since when?"
He said calmly.
Kc:
"Since the day you save me."
She replied.
They start walking again.
Izumi:
"So... since you like me too... can we start... dating?"
He embarrassedly asked in an awkward situation.
Kc:
"Hmmm... On 1 condition."
She said.
Izumi:
"What is it?"
He asked.
Kc:
"Protect me and always stay by my side."
She said it like a Tsundere.

Izumi:
"Of course... as your lover I will protect you with all of my strength."
He said it.
Kc:
"Hoh?? Really? You nailed it huh... Let's try it then. From today onward, I will be your girlfriend."
She replied.
Izumi:
"Ahahaha."
He said.
After that, they hold their hands together while walking to go to their home.
Meanwhile, Kazuki was stalking them. He was laying on a tree with his eyes closed and listening to their conversation, and there he said:
"Good job Izumi... you found your lover. You won't be lonely anymore. Aight... time to go home."
Kazuki is walking to go home with a beautiful sunset.
