20 The Demon Inside Me

Izumi was surprised by what he heard and what he saw. He doesn't know what to do because of what he heard. The demon inside him is happy. Happy because he saw his other part and able to talk to him. Izumi asks what is this place and where did the demon bring him.

Conversation:

Izumi:

"Where Am I? Where did you bring me? Who are you?"

He asks curiously with a dead look on the demon.

Izumi's Demon:

"Relax... I won't kill ya because you're weak. Right now you and I are in your dreams. The real thing is you passed out, but you will not remember because you are too exhausted from the fight. Maybe right now, Kazuki will bring your body to the house if he saw your body laying on the ground."

He said calmly with a badass voice.

Izumi:

"Damn it... Such a gentle voice, I will not let myself deceive by yours. I don't trust you! Tell me the truth!"

He replied angrily.

Izumi's Demon:

"I see. Can I ask you a question, Rivai?"

He said it with a badass voice.

Izumi didn't reply to his Demon's question. He just readies his sword in case the demon attacks him.

Izumi's Demon:

"Why is it the humans call us demons, when humans kill their fellow humans? Why are humans call us demons when we're eating humans, while Humans too eat a Living animal? Isn't animals living things? Why would you tell us "We are killers" when humans kill animals? Aren't we the same? Humans and Demons are both Killers. You, Humans, are no different from us... Demons."

He said it with a badass voice, calm, yet the way he talks is scary. He was smiling when he said this and his head is looking at the floor.

Izumi was surprised by what he heard. He draws out his sword and thinking if this demon's judgment is correct. After 1 minute he whispered to himself that this demon is correct. But he ask to his demon side:

"What is your purpose? Why did you tell me that?"

He sat down on the floor when he asked this.

Izumi's Demon:

"Looks like I'm right. I am your demon and you are my Angel. You are the real owner of this body that's why I can't control it. As your other side, My real purpose is to bring peace to both Human and Demon world."

He said it with a calm voice.

Izumi:

"Huh? Are you crazy? You know you can't do that. Both humans and demons are at war. If you want to bring peace to both worlds then how can you do it? You will run as a president saying "I Izumi Rivai wants to bring a Peace in both Human and Demon World.". Idiot, you can't do that. It's impossible."

He said with a high voice is as if he was angry.

Izumi's demon:

"Then, Think about this. This is only my idea so do not get angry. What if your girlfriend was killed by a demon? Or she was raped by humans? Demons are nothing but binge eaters, while humans are nothing but a bunch of idiots. You know there will be a war within one month right? You are aware of that, that's why you are training. But, what's wrong isn't me nor you, What's wrong, is this messed up world."

He said it with hope in every word he's saying. A gentle voice.

Izumi thinks about it for a second. And he found out that the man right in front of him is not a normal demon that you can kill easily. Every word of this demon is correct. There is no wrong in every sentence he's saying. You can found hope in this demon is what he thought.

Izumi:

"Continue, I will listen."

He said calmly.

Izumi's Demon:

"Looks like I got your attention, huh? Well then, peace was never an option from the beginning. But, on the other hand, Peace can reduce deaths and violence. There will be no sacrifices nor innocent will die. If there is peace in both worlds, then you and Kc can live happily ever after, not just the two of you but every human and demon in this world."

He said it with hopes in every word and with a lively voice.

Izumi:

"But how can you do that? As you said before "Demons are nothing but a binge eater and Humans are nothing but a bunch of Idiots." Then, how can we solve that? Demons will eventually eat all the humans in this world if there is peace."

He said it with a curious reaction yet a nice voice.

Izumi's Demon:

Have you ever heard about cannibalism? If a Demon eats his fellow demon, The one who eats the demon will make him stronger or his hunger will suffice. If a Human commits suicide then that would be the food of the demon. And also, If a demon eats his own flesh it will suffice his hunger. That's how it works on our demons. We can drink blood or coffee to suffice our hunger too. Humans have a blood donation right? That donation, we will get that to drink human blood."

He asks while smiling. A nice and gentle voice, yet with a deep tone on his voice.

Izumi thinks about this and laugh... and he said:

"You know what? You're a funny guy... You're a genius. Looks like I underestimated you."

He replied while laughing there's a joy in his voice.

Izumi's Demon:

"I am not a genius. You're just a stupid person that is not using his own brain. Well then, I must say my farewell. But before I say my farewell let me tell you this. At the War, there will be a big change. Both teams will lose a great number of powers, and the main character will become a heartless person. I am saying this as a figure of speech because I don't want to change the future. And one thing, after you woke up, Your Kingu is ready. I don't know if this is correct but my hunches are telling me yes. Don't worry I'm not your Kingu. Your Kingu is strong. Later when you woke up, This Kingu will make a contract to you to make a contract. And one last thing, Please be careful in the upcoming future, you will face great hardship in your life, but please don't give up. That's all."

He said it with a badass tone and serious voice.

Izumi:

"I understand... Will you stay with me forever?"

He asked calmly while getting up from his sit on the floor.

Izumi has fallen his reaction to his demon because of his intellect. Izumi wants to use the demon for his own judgments. So that Izumi, will not regret his decisions.

Izumi's Demon:

"Always... Until the day you'll die, coz I am your personality. Well then at any moment now, you will wake up."

He replied while smiling. With a normal voice.

Izumi:

"Well then, It's time for me to go. Thanks and See ya later."

He replied with a lively voice.

After that, Izumi woke up. He saw Reinhard and Kazuki talking on his side. Reinhard saw that Izumi is awake. He asks Izumi if he's ok and Izumi replied "Yes but my shoulder is hurting.".

Kazuki asks Izumi for forgiveness for what he has done. Izumi accepted it.

Izumi asks Reinhard where is his sword and Kazuki gave the sword to Izumi. Izumi looks at his katana. And after that, he left the bed and immediately went outside. Reinhard and Kazuki followed Izumi to see what he will do.

And there, Izumi said this;

"Kingu... Kai."

(King... Release.)

After he said this, there was no reaction from his sword nor the shape didn't change.

Nothing changed. The Kingu did not listen to his voice.

Izumi thought to himself that maybe it's not the time to call the Kingu name, and he thought to himself that maybe it's not listening because he does not know the name of his Kingu.

Reinhard and Kazuki were watching when he said this. Kazuki was laughing because Izumi called out his Kingu without having a hardship in his training. Remember, Kingu can be called if the user is having a hardship in his fighting. The soul of the weapon will help the user to surpass his hardship.

Meanwhile, The Demon King felt a threat from Izumi's Demon. When The Demon King is making a contact with Izumi's demon, Izumi's Demon cuts the connection between him and the Demon King. The Demon King thought to himself that this Demon side of Izumi is very powerful, a big threat to the Demon Kingdom.
