4 Salvation
Before the tragedy:
Ichinoze reported to the people of Pyramid Feathers that there would be an experiment between humans and demons. The reason why she betrayed the Demon clan is that her lover was sacrificed in vain. Her lover was loyal to the Demon King, but, the Demon King sacrifice him for his own good. Ichinoze asked herself "Is it better to cooperate with the humans?". Until she decided to cooperate with the 1st Generation Leader of Pyramid Feathers. Whenever there will be a mission for the Demons, she will tell this to the leader of the guild.
She also told to the 1st generation leader of the Pyramid Feathers that there will be an experiment in the Demon Kingdom. The 1st Generation Leader ordered Ms. Ichinoze. "You must save this boy at all cost. His parents are dead so no one will take care of him. He lives a miserable life so he will be rewarded without fail." Ichinoze did not hesitate and went to save the child.
The First Generation Leader's name is Reinhard Ichimaru. The 1st Generation Leader is 77 years old. But he is still strong and looks young. Reinhard is a tall, well-built man and despite his old age, he maintains the same form as when he was in his prime. He has short gray hair and a tall man. The Blue Dragon lives inside his body. Reinhard normally dons his trademark water-style blue kimono with a fire design and black dragon patterns. The retired Leader wears black pants, his lower legs are covered in white sashes and he has white straps on his sandals. He led the Pyramid Feathers for over 10 years. He is the strongest leader to the present leader. He was 23 years old when he led the Guild. But, the rules changed when he retired. "Leaders must lead only 5 years." Now, he is 77 years old, he needs a new successor for the Water Technique and the Water Dragon. Because he knew he would not last long. But the water dragon said, "A boy who has nothing must gain everything. If a boy suffers enough and has a will to move on, He must be rewarded without fail." Reinhard knew that he would choose a man with a strong will.
*Present*
After Ichinoze injected the drug into Izumi, she used Jietai Gate to go to Reinhard's house.
The Demon King knew all of this plan, but he let it escape because he thought it would be a fun game.
When Ichinoze arrived at the house of Reinhard, Reinhard immediately cured Izumi’s wounds. After that, they brought him to bed so that Izumi could take a rest.
After an hour, Izumi woke up. He smelled food near to him. He thought that maybe he’s in heaven now so he immediately gets up. But then, he saw an old geezer and a demon there. He wasn’t surprised at all because he has no fear now (but he has a trauma).
Conversation:
Izumi:
"Hello, sir. Can I ask, where am I?"
He asked calmly.
Ichinoze:
"We escaped from the demon castle. This is the 1st Generation Leader, his name is Reinhard. He asked me to save your life. Currently, we are at his house. You're a lucky boy."
She said it with a smile on her face.
Reinhard:
"Yoo, How are you? Are you hurt? I know you have a lot of questions but let's talk about it later. I know you haven't eaten yet. Here, we have a lot of food, eat until you are full."
He said it happily.
Izumi:
"Okay, Sir. Thanks for having me and sorry for giving you trouble."
He said it embarrassedly.
Izumi ate a lot of food until he was full. Reinhard entertains Izumi so that he can't be bored. They explain that Izumi became a Demon. Izumi was a bit sad about what he heard but then, he continued to eat the food and he didn’t let this bother him.
Reinhard asks Izumi about his dream or what he likes to be in the future.
Reinhard:
"Izumi, what is your desire?"
He asked seriously.
Izumi:
"I want to live, sir. But as a strong person not as a weak one. I want to protect all innocent people. But, now, I'm a Demon, I cannot live like a normal person."
He said this with tears, and he looked like a weak man with no hope. It's as if he is depressed.
Reinhard:
"That's not true. You're the only person who can live in the same world. I mean the demon world and the human world, you are welcome in both worlds. This is your new home, Izumi. Only you of all people can live like this. That's why you must do your duty as a human and as a demon. Protect humans with your demon power."
He said this with hope in his eyes and a happy smile on his face.
Izumi:
"Thank you, sir, for encouraging me. But how can I control my Bisectinator?”
He asked.
Ichinoze:
"That's easy. we will split your personality into two. 1 human and 1 demon. I have the power to do that. This is my Bisectinator power "Demon flow". I'll teach you this later."
Izumi:
"And you, sir?"
He looked back to Reinhard to ask this.
Reinhard:
"There are more enemies here in this world. However, not only demons but humans as well. Lucky enough, the future will have a war. We need some new generations that will protect the civilians from the hands of the enemies. Izumi, you are a chosen one. But I will not pressure you. You have a right to decide whether you'll participate or not. So, Izumi, will you protect the world from the hands of the enemy or not?"
He said this seriously.
Izumi:
"As long as I can help and protect humans. I will gladly accept your offer, sir."
He said it happily.
Reinhard:
"That's that. Come with me, I'll teach you how to become a God."
He gladly said it with hope and happiness.
