96 LIKE A LIGHT SWITCH

Inside his car, Edmond was deep in thoughts. How could things end up this way. Like a flick of a light switch, the almost bright, perfect life that was within reach,  turned out to be a dark and menacing future. 

Staring blankly at the wheel, his eyes were tearing up. He felt defeated, angry, torn, devastated. He had to release his frustration. He hit the steering wheel of his car with force. He cannot contain it any longer and gave a loud cry.

"Aaaaaaaahhhhhh aaah... aaah... aaah...!"

Covering his face to muffle the sound, he gave another loud cry:

"Aaaaaaaahhhhhh aaah... aaah... aaah...!"

Confused, he said to himself: "Why this is happening to me? Why?... Why?..."

Thinking about his life, he regret ever meeting Sofie, sharing a house with her, being business partners with her, having sex with her. He regret everything. What should he do? He was trapped. No escape. He needed to fix his life but how. Who can he seek advice.
