BOUND, BENDED AND BROKEN

As requested by Edmond, the intimate civil wedding took place inside their Sydney villa. It was officiated by a civil wedding officiant that Sofie's dad had arranged. There were only four attendees - the bride and groom, Sofie's dad and Mark who stood as their witness. It wasn't the kind of wedding Sofie was hoping for but she had no other choice but to settle with it. It was either Edmond's condition or no wedding at all. She went along with the first option.

After the wedding, Sofie's dad had to fly back to Perth. Edmond offered to take him to the airport. He was deliberately distancing himself from Sofie. Trying to find ways to avoid her as much as he can. Mark came along with them.

After dropping Sofie's dad at the airport, Edmond wanted to hang out with Mark to kill time. He invited him to celebrate his wedding at a bar. Mark figured out that he was trying to avoid being with Sofie yet. He did not hesitate and join him in.
