[Comms] "Bumblebee Come in Now!" "We're sending reinforcements immeden-"

A great pause goes by as another fireball hits the needle and another and another the Space Needle is bombarded with fireball attacks from these adult dragons. As this is happening the baby dragons are blown away from each other, both suddenly getting sucked into portals disappearing from the area
The radio operator hearing the big explosions sends soldiers out from Headquarters as backup to hopefully save their comrade.

As the soldiers get on scene they see the top of the needle up in flames, rows of airships surround the needle putting up force fields at the bottom in case the top portion were to fall. eventually, the fire is put out, barricades are placed and soldiers are in a line awaiting orders.
A man dressed in a black suit with a white overcoat hanging on his shoulders starts walking toward the soldiers lined up as he gets closer, a soldier steps forward and announces
"Attention! The Ninth Captain of the Council of Captains and the leader of unit 9 Captain Yuri is present!" As soon as the soldier finishes his sentence he salutes and in an orderly fashion, all soldiers in the vicinity follow suit.
"Alright at ease," says Captain Yuri with a pained expression "Conner give me a status report," Yuri says to the gentlemen who announced his arrival previously.
"Yes, Sir! The new recruit Galen under codename Bumblebee was sent on a mission to check out the Space Needle after our radars picked up on unusual and unknown presences" says before being cut off "Listen, Conner, I know all of that, what caused the fire and where is the kid"
"Understood Sir!" says Conner "Galen last reported seeing... baby dragons, after telling the operator their descriptions he went silent... and... then an explosion happened after that. Now where in the present, as for where he is, we were advised to wait for your orders, sir." said Conner with a shaky voice, Though to many Galen was just a new recruit to Conner he was more than that. Galen was his closest friend while they where in the academy and even though it's been 7 years since they graduated he still had that same respect and love for the guy as he did back then... they were like brothers.
"I See" said Yuri with clear disappointment present in his tone "Have the soldier search everywhere for Galen and don't report back to me until you've found him"
"Yes Sir!" said Conner with a glint of hope in his eyes.

Yuri is sitting in a chair behind the crime scene tape deep in thought when a soldier comes up to him and salutes "Sir! We've found the body of Galen codenamed Bumblebee" said the young soldier in a respectful tone
"sigh... I see... It's truly a pity, take me to him" said in a regretful tone, even though Yuri didn't have much of a relationship with Galen at the end of the day he was still a soldier in his unit, Yuri also knew that this was going to effect Conner in many ways.
The soldier leads Yuri through a trail of burned debris eventually reaching an area with a large group of soldier's standing in a circle "Captain Yuri has arrived!" said the soldier traveling beside him. As the group heard that they split like the red sea to let him through. In the middle of the circle laid a burned carcass just barely resembling that of a human. The only reason the soldier where so sure that this body was Galen is because of his famed blue modular suit that he fancied so much.
Yuri looked over to his right to find Conner struggling to keep everything together 'This is going to be a long week' he thought to himself as he looked back at the carcass of the now deceased Galen Woodrow soldier of the 9th unit.

Don don da don.... [Unknown] "Welcome ladies and gentleman to your daily broadcast of news here in Seattle I'm David Withers and today we have some pretty big news don't we Doris"
[Doris] "Yes David some big news indeed. The Space Needle a landmark that has been native to Seattle for centuries on the verge of collapse after what seemed to be a terrorist attack in the dusk of night"
[David] "Indeed, the IDF reports that they had gotten information of the aforementioned terrorist attack and sent an agent to subdue the terrorist before they could harm any civilians, unfortunately the agent that was sent to subdue the terrorist was killed after the terrorist set off their arsenal of bombs taking both himself and the agent out with him"
[Doris] "Unfortunate Indeed, next up the worlds first talking dog? Scientist Laura Rowls will tell you all about once we come back. Good Morning Seattle"
'Click' Yuri watches as the TV goes to black signifying that it's been turned off "Why... Why did you cover it up" said Conner with tears threatening to come out of his eyes
"It was the decision that the council came to after the meeting" said Yuri as he got out of his seat "This way the kid will go out a hero instead of someone who failed to capture a threat to the city" Yuri continued as he made his way to the door "I know your upset, but you need to calm down and focus on what killed him... He died to give us the descriptions of the dragons, now all of IDF will be looking for them" Yuri finished as he walked out of the room closing the door behind him.
