If one more person got injured, I was going to start charging a healing fee.

I was heading to my room when I heard this weird sound coming from Lysander's door. Like someone trying really hard not to make noise but failing miserably.

What is he doing in there?

I knocked. "Lysander? Are you doing good?"

The only response I got was an ear piercing silence. Which was immediately suspicious and awkward because Lysander is never quiet.

Okay now I have to check.

I opened the door without waiting for an answer and found him sitting on his bed, shirt off, trying to wrap gauze around his arm with his teeth.

"What the fuck happened to you Lysander?!"

His arm was a mess. Not just a scratch. A full-on infected nightmare with pus and this gross black stuff oozing out. The skin around it looked dead, all purple.

I take my eyes off him for two minutes and he’s injured. How and when?
