People

Hat's off to UthredofBebbanburg for noticing how weak I made the monsters for the fiftieth floor. I have edited it to be a bit more believable. Also, thanks to MARLENE_ANGEL for recommending some races to include.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Having spent a day going over my monster creation options I have learned some new things about it. One I can give them any class I want, two I can make them as strong as I want, three they can move between floors but can't leave the tower. The biggest issue was that they can't level up, like with other people the monsters could get a bit stronger overtime but they are locked from the continuous strength improvement of leveling. I also couldn't completely remove their distaste for people but I could lower it to a level where it's only a passing displeasure.

"Well thank kind of sucks, but I can make do" I said to myself "Now let's see what I can make"

I started off with a more elvish design, pointed ears, and graceful features but having just 'elves' in my castle would be pretty cliche so I thought to create a few races. Saving the elves template I moved onto a new creation. This time though I decided to go with a shorter stockier build, kind of like a dwarf but not as short as myth would have people believe.

"These should be a good starting point; I can always create more later"

Pulling back up the elves' template I began to make a few rules for summoning them. I couldn't take the time to make each individual one so I set certain classes they could be as well as a range of stats they can have. Not to mention their looks, though I tried to make sure everyone would look elf-like.

[Would you like to summon your custom monster]

"Yes"

In Front of me a male elf appeared. He was around six feet, bright blue eyes, and platinum blond hair.

"Tower Master" He bowed.

"Let's check his status"

Name: ???

Class: Cleric

Strength- 34

Endurance-21

Agility: 43

Constitution: 42

Will: 19

Mind: 35

Spirit: 29

Skills: [Swords 10] [Spears 10] [hand to hand 9] [Mana control]

Abilities: [Light] [Mending] [Cure wounds] [Heal] [Holy fire] [Summoning] [Bless weapon] [Daylight] [Bless]

"Okay he may be a bit overpowered" I asked myself "Do you want to give yourself a name?"

"Any name you give me will be fine"

"Then as you are a cleric i'll name you Arin meaning light"

"Thank you sir"

At least it seems as if they have basic intelligence and some information about themselves as well as me. I was kinda worried that they would come out needing to be taught everything.

"Soon I am going to summon more of you, you will be their leader and representative"

"Thank you sir"

"If you look at the castle behind you" I waited for him to turn around "You will see my city, this is where you will live with your people along with another race of people"

"It is beautiful," Arin commented.

"Thanks, when I summon your people, they will not be as strong as you. This entire floor is your home, and you are free to live how you see fit"

Bowing deeper than before Arin said "Thank you"

"Now let's get this underway" I said, changing the parameters slightly.

[Would you like to summon 4,000 of your custom monster's]

"Yes"

Watching the field before me start to fill with two thousand Elves, a smile spread across my face at my new people "This is awesome".

"Ahh, I almost forgot," I said, summoning a multitude of items, weapons, cloath, musical instruments. Everything I could think of.

"Thank you Tower Master," Arin said.

"No need to keep thanking me, this place is for you to live in. Do whatever you like for now, I may have some requests but for the most part you are free"

Nodding to me Arin went to his people to meet them.

"Now time for the second race"

Pulling up the dwarves template I did the same as with the elves and set certain parameters that would be randomized when summoning. Even though the elves had some crafters I mainly focused on combat and artistic expression. The dwarves would be the opposite, a race of crafters able to make great weapons and tools.

Finalizing the parameters I summoned the first dwarf.

[Do you want to summon your custom monster]

"Yes"

Before me yet another person appeared. This one was only about four foot five and had a stocky build with black wavy hair and a short beard.

"Tower master," He said.

"Hello, your name will be Hamnor," I said, trying to relate it to hammer.

"Thank you"

"Now let's see that status"

Name: Hamnor

Class: Arcane Blacksmith

Strength- 53

Endurance-41

Agility: 23

Constitution: 27

Will: 28

Mind: 15

Spirit: 14

Skills: [War hammer 9] [Blacksmith 8] [Carving 9] [Mana control 4]

Abilities: [Auto craft] [Heat resistance] [Empower] [Personal storage] [Imbue rune] [Eithreal hammer] [Forge flame]

"That's pretty good for a crafter" I started "Hamnor"

"Yes?"

"Like with Arin you will be the leader of your people, the castle behind you is where you will live. I made sure to make some forges near the bottom where the market will most likely be"

"Thank you, that will do well for our crafting"

"Now I am about to summon more of you, are you prepared?"

"Yes sir"

[Would you like to summon 4,000 of your custom monsters]

"Yes" I said as the empty part of the field quickly filled up with dwarves.

"I will leave you to get acquainted with your people" I said as I teleported back to the palace.

Entering the room I made for myself I dropped down onto the bed "Although I don't need to sleep this still feels good".

A few hours later I heard some noise coming from outside. Exiting the palace I saw the two races I had made entering the city.

"Hmm, maybe I made too little?" I said as I noticed just how big Minas Tirith was compared to eight thousand people. "I can always make more later for now eight thousand is enough to handle"

Noticing an argument I quickly made my way to the gathering crowd. Once I arrived I found Arin and Hamnor glaring at each other. I had hoped that it was the classic elf vs. dwarves but maybe it's a universal thing.

"What is going on here?" I called.

"This Elf has intruded on our area" Hamnor stated.

"I simply asked if we could use some of the forges ourselves," Arin replied.

At least it is something simple. I may have made a mistake telling them where they live.

"Okay, I made a mistake. I did not mean that you had to stay in the areas I told you about. The entire city is for everyone. I simply tried to pace the dwarves closer to the forges because of their high amount of crafters" I answered.

"We apologise" Arin and Hamnor said simultaneously.

"It's fine," I replied. They were born a few hours ago so maybe this is normal.

"Now how about I set some rules for the city. First no killing, two no stealing, and three please get along as good as possible"

"Will will follow those rules Tower Master" Arin replied.

"Aye" Hamnor agreed.

"Now that you have seen the city I think it's good to tell you that there are ether people in the tower" I stated.

"The climbers," Hamnor said in disgust.

"Yes, the climbers, they will most likely make it up to the fiftieth floor. I do not expect you to like them just don't attack them unprovoked please"

"We can do that," Arin replied.

"Also despite the city being a safe zone there are monsters past the walls. You are free to hunt them or settle in another area. It's up to you"

"We thank you Tower Master," Hamnor said.

"Now, in the future there will be other races to accompany you on this floor and in the tower. Some will be good, others may be more aggressive but overall you should have no problems with them" I explained.

Looking a bit concerned Arin asked, "Will the city be gaining more people?"

"Not directly, they may enter or live here but I won't be creating any more races to directly occupy the city. Although the more accustomed you get to this place the more of your people I will bring here. I think that for now all eight thousand of you should settle in first"

""Thank you Tower master, do you know where we can get some metals to work with?" A Dwarf asked, getting a flare from Hanmor.

"Yes I have made the mountain behind you rich in materials but there is also some all over the floor. For now though here" I said as I summoned a few hundred pounds of each type of metal in bars. "I have also included some mana stones in that which can also be found all over the floor. Mostly in the rivers"

"It is much appreciated Tower master. We would love to make our own items as soon as possible" Hamnor said.

"Good that's what I created you for. Now let's get you settled in".

Author note: If you want to know why I started with elves and dwarves it's because they are so common in fantasy. I feel that the character would first use what is familiar when creating a species for the first time.
