The white wizard happened.

"Yes, very generous considering the circumstances," I muttered to myself before closing the system interface. I looked around at my companions, everyone preoccupied with their food. I knew that the decision would be easy, and this is what worries me, when did the system give something easy

But 'points improve character level and abilities' that's how the screen stated. 50 points may be the difference between life and death.

I sat silent, observing every detail in the cell. Everyone looked overwhelmed by his thoughts, probably thinking the same thing I think. Without wasting any more time, I decided to accept the challenge.

I pressed the "Accept" button in the system interface, and I felt a light electric current running through my body, as a signal from the system that the challenge had begun.

**[Side Quest: Strike the whole night food.**

**Prize: 50 Points]**

I've been ready for tonight. I had no other choice. I thought about the coming days, about the plans I should prepare to run away or maybe to resist the guards. I had to stay vigilant, and take advantage of every opportunity that comes my way.

"Won't you eat, White "

"No Oliver, I'm thinking of reducing the amount of food I eat in case something emergency happens."

"Hmm, reduce the food and you're like a skeleton Strange..

I'll leave your share if you get hungry later"

I sat down with the rest, watching them finish their food. I didn't want to tell them about the system, not now at least. They had to notice the difference themselves, or maybe they notice nothing at all.

The hours passed slowly, the night resolved and the place drenched in darkness. The cell was cold, and I could feel the hunger increase as time passed. I knew this night would be long, but I was determined to hold on. 50 points may be my passport for freedom.

In the morning, I slowly opened my eyes, my body exhausted and my mind heavy. But I felt a new pulse of strength, I succeeded in completing the task. I looked at the interface of the system, and saw two new notifications.

**[Congratulations! You have completed the side task: Strike the whole night food.]**

And now what will level up benefit me

Suddenly the answer comes in the form of another notification, the screen is active this morning.

---

**New Notice:** You've got a Level Up gift and additional stats points.

**GIFT DETAILS:**

- **Additional stat points:**2points for distribution on statistics.

- **Special Prize:** Map of Nightspek Sweets Shops(Choose one from the list).

---

I read the notification bandhash, and then muttered in a haughty tone: "Map of nightspeek sweet shops Is that some kind of joke What am I going to do with the map of the sweets shops in this place I was slightly disappointed, but I found a chance at the extra points.

For a moment I thought about how to distribute the new points, and I realized that the current circumstances require me to be more fast and stamina. We are facing challenges that require a quick escape from the guards and magical creatures, and stamina will be necessary to withstand in these harsh conditions.

Wait! I have to think more, I have to be more balanced, I only have two points and I have to know how to distribute them, which attributes are less ... Wisdom!

After thinking I decided to increase my speed points and stamina, speed would be useful in case we needed to run away quickly from guards or any sudden dangers. The faster I am, the greater my chance of successfully escaping. Stamina will enable me to hold on for longer periods under pressure, whether it's during combat or in the difficult conditions we live in daily.

As for wisdom "Wisdom is not necessary now," I told myself. I don't need to be wiser to run away from this place, just need speed and endurance." This thought was probably stupid, but I was immersed in the enthusiasm for the idea of being faster and more stamina.

The moment he placed the points was strange. As soon as I confirmed the distribution of points, I felt something like a shiver run through my body, like a light stream of electricity had passed through me. I wasn't sure if the points had succeeded in improving my abilities or not, but a mysterious feeling kept telling me that something had changed.

While I was thinking about what happened, my friend Oliver came holding a piece of bread in his hand. "Here's your bread you didn't eat last night," he said in a gentle voice as he reached for me.

She smiled at him and calmly refused: "No thanks, I'm not hungry."

But Oliver insisted, and said in a playful tone: "Oh, come on, don't be stubborn. We need all the food we can get."

I tried to hide the hidden screen floating in front of me, and I didn't want to explain to him about the system and that I'm from another world. "I'm in the middle of something now, I can't eat," I said in a slightly exaggerated tone.

Oliver looked at me with a questioning look and then smiled, "What do you mean Can't you stop hallucinating for a moment and eat bread "

He took the flip of his eyes in a comical way, like I was starting to lose my mind in his gaze.

I didn't want to eat bread for a mysterious reason, but Oliver insisted very urgently. And finally I decided to take him to calm down from his insistence. I picked up the piece of bread and got up from my place, heading towards the small opening we had opened in the wall and removing the stones it closed.

I'm the only one who can cross from that hole because of the thinness of my body and my flexibility.

As I grabbed the bread and headed towards the hole in the wall, Oliver noticed me and asked in a curious tone: "Where are you going "

I smiled at him a little and said, "I need to check something out, I'll be back in a little while."

He looked at me with a questioning look but didn't object. He then said with a smile, "Well, just don't be late. We're counting on you coming back quickly."

I crawled through the opening outside again, carefully moving in the dark corridor. I knew that the best thing to do currently was monitor and prepare for all the possibilities.

The ritual of the rise, the most important person in it and the one responsible for it is Gushu so it is natural that I turn to his room.

When I reached Gusho's bedroom, I opened the door very cautiously. My heart was beating fast, but I found out the room was empty. I moved cautiously inside the room, scanning every corner for anything that could benefit us.

"Isn't there a magic spell to clean the rooms" I said sarcastically.

A simple room is the opposite of what I expected it to be, but Gushu is not stupid in the end, it is stupid to leave his valuable possessions here. Especially it's open. No glowing crystals, no magic potions, only books and chaos!

A huge bookcase that occupies a side of the room attracted me. There were books talking about black magic, mana, and magical creatures, with no personal spell book of Gusu in between. This book is unique to every magician, containing his own spells and signature magic signature, and no one else can use it. Be like a fingerprint, special and unique to every magician, and express his own magical home. Something like that wouldn't put it here even though it wouldn't benefit me.

Some of the books were weird on the place style, they looked less dusty and less worn out than the rest. Hesitantly, I pulled the books out of the shelf, suddenly, I heard the sound of footsteps approaching the corridor. I panicked and tensed, quickly searching for a place to hide. I discovered a small cache behind one of the shelves, so I quickly entered it and muffled my breath.

" The moment there's a corridor Heheh this looks like one of the adventure movies"

The passage was narrow and dark, and the lighting was barely revealing the way in front of me. The smell of moisture and dust surged in the air, making me feel like stepping towards the unknown.

When I reached the end of the corridor, there were paths. I found an old wooden door. And another iron, I slowly pushed the wooden door and stood up. The room was small, dark and indescribably scary. The lighting was very dim, coming from a single candle lit on a table in the middle of the room. The shadows cast by the candle were moving lightly on the walls, increasing my sense of terror.

The room had only an old wooden table and a worn-out chair placed beside it. And at the table, there was a large book closed, looking like it hadn't opened in decades. The book was covered in dense dust, and the edges of its pages seemed to be eroded by time. The feeling of terror surged in my insides.

"And but what is the story of this palace "

As if the room was a hateful living being, I felt and as if someone was breathing on my neck with a slow, sense of shit and desire to escape, that ominous energy that pervades the place and God is pressing me...the room is not happy with my presence.

Though the scary book I found in the secret room pulled me in, it had an old and horrific appearance. His cover was made of old and cracked leather, which gave him a degraded and horrific look. The dark brown color of the skin was mixed with black spots and old burn marks, which increased the awe of the book.

The size of the book was large, larger than any ordinary book.

" Man is attracted to the unknown even if he is a cunt" I heard this phrase in the TV. I currently live it.

My curiosity finally moved my feet from the doorstep. A sense of nervousness started to creep into my depths, but my curiosity was pushing me forward. As I slowly approached the table, I felt the light from the candle increase and decrease, as if guiding me towards the book. I desired to escape, but there is something that attracts me towards this book. Maybe it was curiosity, and it was probably a feeling that this book might tell me something.

As soon as I got close enough until I touched the book, I felt a sudden coldness, as if the room itself was trying to kick me out. Everything in the room, from the shadows moving on the walls to the distant sounds that rusted from the hallways, increased the awe of the situation.

"It's just a book, nothing will happen!" I tried to reassure myself... But I forgot that I am in a magical world.

The moment my sight landed on his cover, the only light source in the room turned off and sank into the darkness!
