The Slytherin monitor, Gemma Farley, is almost furious!
This is the first time she's brought freshmen into Slytherin.
Everything went well at first. Most of these freshmen had good family backgrounds and influence. They walked gracefully and formed organized formations. They were the children of famous witch families like Malfoy, the Nott family, and the Parkinson family. These families are very prestigious in the magical world.
As long as she manages to successfully complete the task of educating new students and establishing a good image among them, she believes that her authority as headmistress can convince more people. After graduation, this friendship may allow her to feel more comfortable in the magical world.
She led the new students to the hidden entrance of the dungeon, proudly told them that the hall was at the bottom of the lake, and said the password "Pureblood". Looking at the freshmen's expressions of longing and respect, she felt a little excited.
But everything was ruined during the count!
The team had actually lost a person!
She counted twice again in disbelief... Yes, there was indeed one less freshman!
The "Slytherin House Prefect's Welcome Speech" she had prepared was useless. She had originally written thirty centimeters of parchment paper, which was comparable to a paper she had completely memorized before today and was waiting to be finished. When all the members arrived, she would have made a speech - but all her preparations were ruined!
She quickly asked the vice-prefect to arrange for the new students to enter the dormitory and went out the door of the room, trying to find the missing new student.
Please, ancestor, don't get lost, I don't want to be the monitor who gets dismissed on the first day of school!
Gemma's heart broke.
The corridors, stairs, and auditorium were all empty, not a soul was to be seen.
She had no choice but to run towards the office of Professor Snape, the headmaster.
"Come in!"
Although he was the Dean of his House, Professor Snape was so prestigious that he still made Gemma nervous.
She quickly reported a missing student incident.
...
Severus Snape never imagined that something so incredible would happen in his Slytherin House!
He went out at night on the first day of school. He didn't look like a Slytherin. Even those stupid lions couldn't do anything to break the school rules.
His face was gloomy and he looked particularly despondent when paired with a large black cloak:
"Miss Farley, I assume you still know your identity as a monitor, so you should keep an eye on these new students and tell them not to run around."
Gemma ducked her head in shame: "I'm sorry, Dean, I'll go straight away..."
"Go back to the room." A cold voice sounded above her head.
Knowing the Dean's nature well, she was relieved. When she heard that the matter had been taken over by Professor Snape, she finally felt relieved.
Snape had to stop preparing the potion, and the bad thoughts in his mind about the Potter boy's enrollment were interrupted by this sudden incident.
The complex emotions of grief, hatred, and guilt swept away, and he left and began to search the castle.
When he reached the auditorium, a golden-red phoenix suddenly appeared in front of him.
"Severus, please come to the restricted area of the fourth-floor corridor."
"Expecto Patronum!"
He impatiently summoned the silver doe, which landed on the floor of the auditorium.
"Slytherin has a missing fledgling and I don't have time to play treasure hunt with you." The deep, hoarse voice sounded.
The doe leaped through the house and flew out of the window.
...
But he said that Dumbledore on the other side had already put on his pajamas and was lying in bed ready to fall asleep.
As we get older, we tire easily. Eat some sweets before bed to refuel your brain.
He put a honey candy in his mouth and drank a bottle of mouthwash so that they could neutralize each other.
However, just as he was about to fall asleep, he felt the magic circle in the secret room on the fourth floor being touched.
A thief had stolen the Philosopher's stone!
He instantly sat up in bed and twisted his waist, making a high-pitched, squealing sound.
This time it was completely different from what he'd expected!
This school year was supposed to lead Harry slowly to discover the secret of the Mirror of Ojesed, and then place the mirror in the Chamber of the Forbidden Corridor as a hiding place for the Philosopher's Stone.
Play the long game to catch the big fish, thus luring the mentors behind the scenes to reveal their flaws.
But he never expected anyone to act on the first day of school!
Without even having time to take off his pajamas, he grabbed his wand and ran straight up to the fourth floor, where he asked Fawkes to call his right-hand man, Severus Snape.
However, the Patronus brought him another unhappy message.
It made his heart sink. I'm afraid the messenger behind the scenes has already attacked the student and taken him hostage!
"Please come immediately, the Philosopher's stone circle has been touched and the new student must be inside."
Not long afterward, Snape appeared in front of him menacingly, black robes fluttering.
"You'd better give me a reasonable explanation. A new student has just joined the school for the day... and she doesn't know anything yet. She hasn't even learned a spell!"
Dumbledore smiled bitterly, his white beard twitching slightly:
"I'm sorry... he did it too quickly."
The two of them opened the first gate to the restricted area but discovered that something was wrong.
"Severus... did you smell anything sweet?" Dumbledore cast a stun spell on the three-headed dog and sniffed the air strangely.
"I think your brain is stuck with sugar, so you feel the air is sweet." Snape gritted his teeth and said, "It smells like meat, like the steak from dinner."
Everyone turned serious, for in Fluffy's mouth was a rag of Slytherin school uniform.
"How dare you!"
Snape's hand, which held his wand tightly, began to tremble, and he seemed to want to give the three-headed dog an Avada. His intuition told him that Jian Yu had been killed.
"Calm down, Severus."
Dumbledore's blue eyes behind his half-moon glasses were clear: "There are no bloodstains, only the coat."
Snape managed to regain his senses, and they looked at the trapdoor, which was indeed open.
"Lumos."
The two of them slid down the trapdoor one after the other, hoping to be caught in the devil's net.
"Bang!", "Ouch!"
They fell in a heap.
Fortunately, Snape realized something was wrong at the last second and immediately used the Levitation Spell to lessen the impact.
But falling from that height, he could guarantee that the bones in his legs would break!
Dumbledore next to him wasn't much better, clutching his waist and groaning. The waist he had just twisted took another heavy blow and looked like it was about to snap in two!
They helped each other to their feet and used lighting spells to explore their surroundings.
"The ashes of the devil's net." Snape took some powder, rubbed it in his hands, and sniffed with the tip of his nose "It's a kind of poison that's completely eaten them away."
"What poison?" Dumbledore asked softly.
"I'm not sure, but the poison must be powerful." Snape took several potion bottles from his robes, filled them with some powder, and looked at the remaining ashes with a pitying expression.
"There are some new Aconitum plants here." He tore off another piece and put it in the jar.
Limping, the two continued walking inside.
"Filius' level." Dumbledore checked the lock on the door: "Strange, there's no trace of external damage, the bird key hasn't disappeared and there's no magical fluctuation from the unlocking spell... How was the door opened?
He was confused, his eyebrows and the broken bridge of his nose were twisted together.
The mysteries are increasing.
"Minerva's chessboard... the black pieces are all broken. How did the intruder escape?"
Then he saw purple flames on the door.
"Looks like our unwelcome guest hasn't left yet." He waved his wand and the flame disappeared without a trace.
Snape went over to the table and inspected the seven potions he had set out. The lids of the bottles were open and three bottles were empty.
"He's a drunk!" He cursed fiercely, as if thinking of something disgusting in his memory, "I've finished all the nettle wine and the potion bottle forward."
An alcoholic carrying mysterious poisons and possessing mysterious means of opening doors. In Dumbledore's memory, he had never met such a wizard.
He gripped his wand tightly, preparing to subdue the enemy the moment he entered the secret room, just as he had been doing for so many years - a confinement spell and a petrification spell, simple and easy.
"Incarcerous and Petrificus Totalus... Yu Jian?"
The poor old director was stunned and almost fainted.
The secret room was full of alcohol and there was only one girl sleeping on the floor with the magic stone in her hand!
