3 Six Minutes Successfully Wasted.

"You're overstepping your boundaries too." Dominic said, grabbing the woman's waist and pulled her closer to himself.

Mr Parker and Gabriel looked at eachother and at Dominic again.

"Who do you think you are to confront us?" Parker scoffed at him, making Dominic to chuckle. It was obvious they didn't recognise him.

As they moved closer to Celine, she looked up to Dominic with a worried face, hoping he was going to do something.

Dominic's eyes flashed red, blazing in anger. He hated it whenever people underrated his ability. His fangs threatened to come out but he controlled himself.

He looked at Celine with an assuring smile. "Trust me on this. I'll fight for you, darling."

Celine frowned when she heard the last word. 'Darling'? Why was he calling her with a sweet name? As far as she was concerned, she can never be this rude man's darling. Never! He's just an hooker.

But then, Celine noticed his outfit. He really looked like all those wealthy billionaires in Kdramas.

Gosh! His wristwatch, even his suit was Italian made, she could recognise it because she has worked at a boutique before. Even his colonge smelt expensive. Wait, did he borrow all these to impress her? He didn't look like this last night, except for the scent of his perfume, everything seemed different.

"Let's go in." She suddenly heard him say and then, she jolted out of her thoughts. She gasped when she saw the two men running away for their lives. They had sustained a lot of bruises from Dominic's beating.

Celine was surprised, how could he deal with two huge men in just five minutes?

She withdrew herself from him and stood straight. "Go in? Thanks but you have to leave now." She mentioned, but deep down she was scared. What if the loansharks come back after he was gone?

"Do you always have to act stubborn?" Dominic rolled his eyes at her.

"Do you have a problem with my attitude? Okay, thank you for beating up those men."

Dominic moved closer to her in slow steps while Celine moved back, wondering what he was going to do. Then he suddenly grabbed her waist, looking straight into her eyes.

"They'll come back for you. Do you really want to be free? I can help you." He said in a barely audible voice.

Their gaze locked for a while and Dominic could hear her loud heartbeats. Celine pushed him away and held her chest, why does she feel like this whenever he touched her?

"What makes you think you can help me? You're just an hooker." She said and squinted her brows when she saw a Bugatti car parked some steps away. Just how many things did he borrow to impress her?

"Don't you think you're doing too much?" She asked, folding her arms.

"What do you mean?" Dominic asked with a little frown.

"Your outfit, your expensive cologne, your wristwatch, shoes, look you even borrowed a car! What exactly do you want and why the heck are you trying to impress me?"

"Uh?" His frown deepened, this is the second time she is belittling him. Now she was even accusing him of being fake?

"Just what kind of a man are you?" Celine asked, shaking her head.

"Take a look at this." Dominic gave her his business card and she looked away, pushing his hand with her palm.

"No,is that the bill for the things you've borrowed? Do you expect me to pay for your fake posh? I have my own problems too, Mr Hooker!"

Dominic's lips formed into a thin line as he watched Celine spout nonsense.

"You uncouth parrot, can you look at the card first? You can't just assume that I'm faking my personality besides I'm not an hooker." He told her.

Celine scoffed as she took the business card from him. She read, 'Dominic Davenport, CEO of Melanie Enterprise.'

"Where did you pick this, Mr Hooker? This obviously doesn't belong to you."

"Have you bothered to check whose Photo is on it?"

Celine stared back at the card and looked at him in disbelief. "Did you fake this too?"

Dominic sighed and rubbed his forehead. "Why do you find it so hard to believe me?"

"Yesterday, you dressed differently, you didn't look like this. You were an hooker last night and suddenly you're now a wealthy CEO?"

"Yes, I dressed casually yesterday but that doesn't mean I'm lying to you, and I've told you not to address me as an hooker."

Celine gasped. "So you really are Dominic Davenport?"

He nodded. "Of course, I am."

Celine gave him the complimentary card and moved backwards. She hated to be involved with rich people, they all are dangerous.

"I really have to stay away from you."

"What, why?"

"Wealthy people like you are always dangerous."

"What makes you think I am. Celine, I really want to help you. Those loansharks will come back for you."

"How did you know my name?" She raised her eyebrows as she inquiried.

"Knowing your name isn't a big deal, okay?"

"Have you been stalking me?"

"S... stalking you? Obviously not. Here's your ID card, it dropped from your purse yesterday." He said slipping it out of his inner suit pocket.

Celine snatched it from him and waved him away. "Please leave. I can't let you into my house."

"Are you sure? Do you really want me to leave?" He asked, looking intently at her as he tried to manipulate her mind.

Celine shook her head. "Do you assure me that you're not a dangerous man? How do I trust you?"

"Let me in first and let us talk." He said.

Celine stared at him for a while before opening the door.

"Come in." She said and he walked in with a proud smile. He looked around the whole place, the room looked so small. He wondered how she coped here.

"Yes, my house is small but you don't have to stare around like that." She eyed him.

"Apologies." He smiled.

"Have your seat. Ten minutes and you're out of here." She walked to her small refrigerator and took out a small can.

"Take this, you just finished beating up two huge men. Drink up, you really need it." She dusted her hands and sat opposite him.

Dominic looked at the can with a smile. "This is my favourite energy drink- Rustle."

Celine looked at him from the corner of her eyes. The energy drink was her favourite too.

"Eight minutes left." She told him.

"Alright alright." He said, sipping the drink slowly.

"Don't drink like an imbecile. You have seven minutes more and I won't hesitate to throw you out when your time runs out."

"Sorry, but I just like to feel the taste. Gosh hmmm." He moaned as he drank up with relish. He dropped the can after he was done and faced her.

"Now let's talk."

"Six minutes successfully wasted."

"Alright, I can manage the minutes left."

"Five minutes more."

"Why do you count so fast? If you were a clock then we would have been in the fiftieth century by now."

"Three minutes…" Celine continued to count.

"Can you just calm the fuck down?"

"Two minutes …."

"Celine, can you just allow me speak?"

"Time up! Now get out." She pointed at the door.

"What do you mean? I've not even spoken."

"Do I drag or pull you out? Choose."

"I want to talk to you, Celine."

"But I want to throw you out."

Dominic let out a deep sigh. What kind of a lady was this? "Celine, let's..."

"Don't Celine me!" She flashed him a death glare.
