[After 2 days]
--Chikara Dojo - 6:30 PM--
Colleen Wing stood on the mat, her workout clothes clinging to her frame, her stance confident and ready. Across from her, Peter Parker mirrored her movements, his expression serious, but his eyes betraying a flicker of something more—an intensity that neither could quite ignore. Darryl, a student of Colleen's, watched from the sidelines with a curious, eager gaze.
"Ready?" Colleen's voice was steady and low, her gaze unwavering.
"Always," Peter replied, his eyes locking with hers, and for a moment, there was a hint of something deeper in his gaze—something that made Colleen's pulse quicken.
They charged at each other, Colleen leading with a quick one-two punch combination. Peter sidestepped easily, his reflexes so quick they seemed almost superhuman. When she tried a roundhouse kick, he blocked it with a casual grace, then closed the distance between them, pulling her back into his embrace with a firm grip around her waist and one hand against her neck, holding her steady.
Colleen struggled against him, her breath quickening as Peter's hold reminded her just how much stronger he was. She was surprised by how effortlessly he controlled her, how easily he kept her in check.
[Peter POV]
'Damn, she's refined in her movement' I thought, feeling the resistance in Colleen's body as her well-trained body brushed against mine.
"Sensei, if you don't stop struggling and admit defeat, don't blame me if something… unexpected happens," I teased, my voice low, my grip on her tightening just slightly.
Colleen's cheeks flushed as she felt something press against her. "Uh…Peter!!! LET ME GO NOW," she said, her voice tinged with more than just embarrassment as she tried to twist out of his grasp.
"Sorry, Sensei," I said with a soft laugh, my fingers brushing the back of my neck. "Can't help it, you're hiding a lot underneath your baggy pants."
Colleen took a deep breath, her frustration and something else she didn't want to admit heating her cheeks. "Peter, you're impossible…"
"Yeah?" I replied, my voice low and serious, my eyes on hers. "Maybe I am. But you're the one who can't admit defeat."
Colleen looked up at me, her gaze searching his as if looking for something more. "How are you so strong, Peter?"
"Just lucky, I guess," I said, my tone serious, but my smile hinted at something else entirely. "Or maybe it's a gift from God."
"Uh-huh," Colleen replied, her tone dismissive, but there was a glint in her eye that suggested she wasn't so unconvinced. "Whatever you say, Peter."
After Colleen went to freshen up—since she lives here as well—Darryl, my new friend (if I could call him that), rushed over to me with excitement.
"Dude… you even beat Sensei!" he exclaimed, touching all over my body and making me shiver.
"Get off me, dude! I'm not into that or whatever," I said, irritated.
"Haha… I'm just checking," he laughed and then dragged me to a nearby restaurant.
"Tell me, Peter… do you want to earn a lot of money?" he asked suddenly, his tone shifting as we started eating.
"Hmm? Of course, who wouldn't? But what's the catch?" I asked, narrowing my eyes.
Knowing Darryl—the guy who had gone to underground cage fights to earn some quick cash—it wasn't hard to guess where this conversation was going.
I pretended to be surprised as he explained the underground fight club. After bidding him farewell, I checked the time—it was still only 8 p.m.
I slipped into a dark alley and put on my not-so-good costume, blending into the shadows, and started patrolling the city, searching for something—or someone—worth stealing from. I wasn't just out for personal gain, though. Tonight, I'd save some lives, too, I let out a chuckle at my hypocrisy.

[Parker Residence]
After having a wonderful dinner with May, I headed to my bedroom, my mind focused on making more money. I'd already earned about $750 from small raids over the past two days, but it wasn't nearly enough. If I wanted to buy at least 20-30% of Stark Industries shares, I would need a fortune.
That kind of money would require knocking on the door of the underworld king himself—Kingpin. But I wasn't ready for that yet. First, I needed to level up—get an immortal body or something close to it. No way was I taking any risks, no matter how small or big, without proper insurance.
I sat in my chair and powered on my anonymous laptop. Logging into a worldwide hacking forum, I browsed through small hacking jobs. These were minor tasks, not illegal but shady. Bigger payouts required higher membership tiers, and as a new member, I wasn't there yet.
For now, I looked through guides written by experienced hackers, long buried beneath countless threads.
Hacking isn't something you just jump into. It requires careful planning. Every step matters, and one mistake could expose you. The first rule of hacking? Build your fortress before you declare war.
After updating my laptop with the latest software, I got to work. I targeted accounts linked to illegal activities, stealing small amounts of money from each. By the time I was done, I had $5 million safely stashed in my hidden account.
I couldn't steal more—it would raise red flags. But skimming small amounts from thousands of accounts? Far less noticeable.
I didn't feel guilty, not even a little. Every dollar I took came from people who didn't deserve it—drug dealers, child traffickers, and worse.
As I delved deeper into the dark web, though, I felt sick. The things I found… they weren't just illegal; they were evil.
Child exploitation. Human organ trafficking. Videos of girls being brutally abused.
"Ugh… humans are the worst creatures," I muttered bitterly, slamming the laptop shut before I could vomit. "But I'm human too…"
Taking deep breaths, I steadied myself, forcing my emotions into check. I reminded myself why I was doing this. I'd rid the world of people like that—monsters who treated human lives like trash.
After a long, hot shower, I glanced at the clock. 12:30 a.m.
"Tomorrow's going to be a big day," I muttered under my breath, "Oscorp… and spiders."
Tomorrow marked a special day for me. My gene fusion would be completed and I'd even found insects with incredible regenerative abilities. If I could fuse my DNA with theirs…
A grin spread across my face. "Who could stop me then?"
I let out an evil laugh but caught myself.
"Wait… was that a villain laugh?" I muttered, amused at myself.

[ Morning, 7:10 AM]
I had just stepped out of the shower after completing my daily routine of exercises. My body felt more energetic than ever, even after an intense workout. Instead of feeling drained, I felt stronger and more alive.
As I stood in front of the mirror, a white towel wrapped around my waist, I couldn't help but admire my reflection. My well-developed muscles and lean, athletic physique looked sharper than ever. My abs were defined, my body toned in all the right places. Not bulky like those bodybuilders—lean and functional.
"Hah… it's been a week, hasn't it?" I mumbled, reflecting on everything that had happened since I arrived in this world.
While I was admiring myself in the mirror, May's panicked voice suddenly broke my thoughts.
"Peter!" she shouted in a frantic tone.
"Huh… what the—" I frowned, immediately alarmed. Something must have happened, without wasting a second, I rushed down the stairs.
As soon as I reached the bottom, a body launched at me, and before I could react, May wrapped herself around me, her legs coiling around me like a snake.
"PETER!!!" May called out again, her voice frantic and scared. She clung to me tightly.
"What happened, May?" I asked, my voice deep and serious. My superhuman senses kicked in as I scanned the kitchen and living room. But there was no one there—nothing out of the ordinary.
"C-COCKROACH! There's a cockroach near that box!" she yelled, pointing at the floor, her face full of genuine terror.
"What the… Seriously, May?" I looked at her in disbelief, baffled by her reaction. Without thinking, I instinctively adjusted my grip on her to keep her from falling. My hands ended up grabbing her…
Well… her buttcheeks.
"YES! PETER, A COCKROACH!" she repeated with utter seriousness, completely ignoring my hand placement.
I looked down, spotting the offending insect. With a thought, I activated my appraisal system, and a panel of information appeared before my eyes.
[Brown-Banded Cockroach]
[Cockroaches are known for their ability to withstand injuries, regenerate limbs in a month, and survive without their heads for a week.
They possess high durability, able to withstand 900 times their body weight, as well as radiation and nuclear blasts.]
"Holy fuck…" I muttered under my breath, my eyes widening at the system's details.
"What? Peter, just kill it already!" May said, her tone shifting from fear to annoyance.
"All right, all right! But first… could you maybe get off me?" I whispered into her ear teasingly, squeezing her in my grip. "I mean, I love holding you, but—"
"PETER!! YOU!!!" May shrieked, leaping off my body as if my touch had burned her. She turned to face me, her cheeks flushed red with embarrassment.
"You're unbelievable! I'm your aunt!" she said, covering her face with her hands.
"An attractive aunt, you mean?" I said with a playful smirk, my comment stopping her in her tracks.
She looked at me, speechless, her face still flushed, before shaking her head in exasperation. "Really? I'm just an old woman…"
"Hmm? You're just 32! A lady in her prime. Don't sell yourself short," I said seriously, watching her expression softened slightly.
Not wanting to push my luck, I turned my attention back to the cockroach. The damn thing ran fast, but I caught it and promptly threw it outside.
Once the coast was clear, I turned back to May. "May, why are you even afraid of a cockroach? You could've just smashed it with your foot."
"It's a cockroach! You don't understand how scary they are!" she yelled, still looking shaken.
…..
….
After all the morning's drama, I headed to the bus stop and waited for the bus, still mulling over the idea of the immortal cockroach. "Should I fuse? It's so tempting, but… maybe it can wait until after today's trip."
..
I was stuck in a boring class this morning, but I spent it talking and flirting with Gwen. Well, it was mostly me teasing her because she was so excited about the science trip.
"Gwen, can you calm down? You're pumped!" I shook my head and packed my books and notes as Gwen looked at me with a huge smile.
"Peter! We're finally going!" she grabbed my hand and dragged me toward the bus area where we were supposed to assemble.
Soon, our homeroom teacher told us to get on the bus quietly, without any shouting or commotion. He looked just as excited about the trip as we were. Teachers probably got bored too, sometimes.
…
With these thoughts, I glanced out ahead as the bus pulled into the parking lot of the Oscorp building. Our homeroom teacher stood up and after getting everyone's attention, he said, "Alright everyone, I want you all to leave the bus in an orderly manner. Be mindful and behave your best in there! Let's go!" He got off the bus and we all followed him.

//longest chapter, and sorry for the slow progress as I want to build relationships and give the characters depth but don't worry.. it'll pick the pace and plot in 2-3 chapters.
