It's a mixed bag, half horrible, half acceptable. The protagonist is dumb beyond understanding and a device for the author's fetish. It's like a fifteen year old teenager wrote this. The translation isn't bad and what harms it is mostly the original work with things like characters having the same name of some others that have already died.
