Lunar Phase

Asher ignored the talking cat and left. 

When he reached the main area of the library, he saw the foxkin caretaker waiting for him. This time, she looked visibly pale, darting her eyes around and breathing heavily. 

He ignored her, assuming she was just unwell. 

With that in mind, he headed back to Lucia's office. She was there, busy writing letters. She might be arrogant, but at least she seemed to be doing her job .

"Did you meet some of student along the way?" she asked.

"No," he shook his head. He had made an effort not to be noticed in the first place. Still, he couldn't help but wonder why she would ask such a question. 

"I see," she smiled and stood up. "I assumed you've studied our Arcane Arts, right?"

"Yes," 

"Well, we can head to the portal now, but before that..." she trailed off, raising her palm.
