#7 Chakra and Natural Energy

Lying on the floor, Steven stared up at the ceiling. He had opened a portal, read someone's mind, and almost blown up his apartment trying to replicate anime jutsu.

"I need to learn control," Steven whispered to himself. "I have to master these powers before id ever get to use them."

The path ahead was clear: if he wanted to survive in this new reality, he had to understand and refine the abilities the survey had given him. But he also needed to tread carefully—because every step deeper into this world of power came with more temptation, more risks, and more opportunities for things to go catastrophically wrong.

For now, he would continue to practice in secret, honing his skills, learning to wield the immense power he had inherited.

"If I'm going to live like this... I need to figure out exactly what I've become."

"First things first, i can't just walk around with the name steven anymore, it just doesnt fit my appearance anymore." He took a deep breath "I guess, my name will be Kaguya from now on."

(AN: Now i wont be calling him steven anymore, ill use Kaguya and will stop refering to Steven or well Kaguya now as he, but instead will use she.)

She stood up, stretching, and looked down at her hands.

"Let's try something a little more dangerous this time," Kaguya muttered to herself.

With a deep breath, she raised her arm, channeling energy into her fingers. She had seen Kaguya use this technique in the anime—All-Killing Ash Bones—a devastating attack that could disintegrate anything it touched. She felt the chakra surge into his Palms, solidifying into deadly bone-like projectiles. The sensation was strange, almost instinctual.

Kaguya aimed at a nearby plate sitting on the table.

Thwip!

A white bone shot out from her palm, zipping through the air and striking the plate. For a moment, nothing happened. Then, the plate began to crack, crumbling into dust within seconds.

"Whoa…" She whispered, staring at the pile of dust where the plate had been. The power felt surreal, terrifying even. With just a thought, she could disintegrate anything.

The next step was exploring her ocular powers. She already used it once to see someones memories, but that was it. However She had seen the different abilities of the Byakugan in action countless times on the show—its ability to see through walls, detect chakra networks, and perceive everything in a vast radius around the user. She took a deep breath and activated it.

Suddenly, her vision expanded. The world around her became clearer, sharper. She could see the intricate details of every object in the room—the texture of the wood beneath his feet, the faint traces of dust on the bookshelf. She could even see through the walls of his apartment, into the adjacent Buildings, where her neighbors were going about their daily routines. It was like having a 360-degree view of everything around her.

But something was missing. There was no chakra. Kaguya blinked, focusing harder, but still… no Chakra, instead her vision expanded towards the nearest City. She could see people, their bodies moving and breathing, but no chakra network like in the anime. No glowing lines of energy flowing through their bodies.

"What the hell?" Kaguya muttered. "Where's the chakra?"

She glanced down at her own body, half-expecting to see herself having no Chakra aswell, but she was wrong, so wrong, it was like she was looking straigth into the Sun.

She quickly shut off her byakugan and frowned. Trying to make sense of it. "So, chakra doesn't exist here. At least not in the way it does in the anime world."

However, something else caught her attention. The air around her had a faint shimmer, something she hadn't noticed before. It was subtle, like tiny particles of energy drifting through the atmosphere.

Natural energy.

She focused on it, realizing that this world still had a form of energy, though it was pathetically weak compared to the massive reserves of Natural energy and Chakra in the Shinobi World. "So, there's natural energy here… but not much."
