Author here! I'm rating it this way because I can't promise you readers anything about the quality of this novel, it may even be not up to par to current standards but I can guarantee the consistency of the updates.
Lastly, I wrote this novel because I have always craved for a pure adventure, sailing, and crew building fanfic of one piece. Not those with dark themes or anything of that sort but instead, my way of writing. Don't expect any dark things happening, I won't change the dark past of character definitely, but I won't add any excessive and exaggerated dark parts because I only want to make my own story with how I want and like to make it.
