Chapter 142: The Bold Dragon Maid

"What honeymoon trip?"

Erina's cheeks flushed with embarrassment, and she spoke angrily and anxiously.

"But didn't Father say you'd be getting married soon?" Leonora asked innocently.

"There's no such thing!" Erina quickly denied it, her face turning an even deeper shade of red.

Though she shared a close relationship with Sui and knew they would likely marry in the future, the idea of marriage still felt distant to her.

Leonora, smiling knowingly, sighed, "I'm so envious. Erina-chan already has a sweetheart, but I'm not sure when my Alice will find someone. It would be wonderful if she could meet a boy as lovely and capable as Sui-chan."

"Mind your own business!" Alice puffed her cheeks in annoyance.

Leonora chuckled, then turned her attention to Sui. "Well, I'll be heading back now. Make sure to take care of Erina-chan."

"Of course, goodbye, Auntie," Sui responded politely, still holding a positive impression of Leonora for her warm and friendly demeanor.

"Oh, he called me Auntie again," Leonora mumbled, covering her face in embarrassment.

Sui: "…"

Leonora gently patted Sui's cheek and said, "What a sweet boy. We'll be family soon. You know, Sōe and I wanted another child, but we only have this girl."

"What's wrong with me being a girl?" Alice protested, clearly unhappy with the remark.

For a rare moment, Sui felt a little embarrassed.

Just then, Professor John emerged with a group of students.

"Are the exchange activities over?" Sui asked.

"Yes, they're heading back. After experiencing the strength of their peers from Totsuki, I'm sure they'll work even harder when they return," Professor John replied with a smile.

Sui's gaze swept across the group and landed on Aimisha, who was wearing a hat, mask, and sunglasses. She had bundled herself up tightly and was huddled among the others, looking rather suspicious.

"What's with her?" Sui couldn't help but wonder. Could she have stolen some of his ingredients?

"Well, it's like this..." Leonora began to explain. "Professor John clarified the meaning of the words "Date" to her earlier, and she's been acting like this ever since."

Aimisha glanced briefly at Sui from under her disguise, then quickly averted her eyes. Even with her face covered, Sui could tell her ears were burning red with embarrassment.

Sui: "…"

Aimisha wanted to disappear from the face of the earth. At first, she hadn't realized there was a significant difference between the two words, but once it was explained, she felt mortified. The memory of her earlier behavior in front of everyone made her cringe.

As the day came to an end, Sui returned to the apartment and found Tohru sitting on the sofa, looking rather upset.

"Tohru, what's wrong?" he asked.

Tohru huffed and turned her head away, an unusual sign of anger toward Sui.

"What happened?" Sui turned to Kanna, who was plugging her tail into a power strip to recharge.

"Tohru-sama saw it," Kanna answered in her usual nonchalant tone.

"Saw what?" Sui asked, confused.

"Tohru-sama saw you kiss that girl," Kanna explained.

Sui was momentarily speechless. It must have been when he kissed Erina earlier in the day.

"Tohru-sama has been angry all day," Kanna added.

"What should I do?" Sui sighed, feeling a headache coming on.

"I don't care, Sui! You have to kiss me too!" Tohru demanded, still sulking.

Sui thought about it for a moment and finally said, "Alright... okay."

"Really?" Tohru's mood shifted instantly. She leaped up happily, her small fang peeking out, and her golden, slit-pupil eyes lit up with joy.

Before Sui could react, Tohru had already jumped into his arms, wrapping herself around him and planting a direct kiss on his lips.

Despite being much stronger than most people now, Sui was no match for Tohru, who was, after all, a dragon. She easily knocked him to the ground.

Unlike the shy and hesitant Erina, Tohru was bold and assertive. Yet, despite being a dragon, Tohru was as soft, fragrant, and sweet as any human girl.

But then Sui felt something long and slippery slip into his mouth.

"Tohru! What are you doing?" Sui exclaimed, pushing her away.

Tohru, with her long tongue still visible, licked the corner of her mouth and then smacked her lips, seemingly savoring the taste.

Sui was speechless once again. He had to remind himself that she wasn't human—she was a dragon. Her long, smooth tongue was just another part of her dragon form.

After the kiss, Tohru's mood improved considerably, her sharp fangs showing as she smiled brightly.

As usual, Sui and Tohru, along with Kanna, went to their shop to handle business.

Elma continued to serve as the dutiful dragon maid. As long as she had food, she was content, and a delicious meal was all it took to keep her in line.

Sui was starting to feel like dragons were incredibly easy to manage—just keep them well-fed, and they were happy. This was true for both Kanna and Elma.

Later that night, as soon as Sui lay down, Tohru climbed into bed as usual, and Kanna curled up on the quilt, preparing for sleep.

Since the bed was small, Sui and Tohru slept almost face to face.

"Sui, can we kiss again?" Tohru asked shyly, a glimmer of excitement in her golden eyes as she licked her lips, clearly remembering the earlier kiss.

Sui sighed. After a pause, he agreed, "Alright, but no tongue this time."

Tohru's tongue was quite long, and it made him uncomfortable.

"Okay! I'll keep it normal-sized this time," Tohru said eagerly, leaning in closer.

A few moments later...

"Tohru, didn't you promise not to use your tongue?" Sui groaned.

"Sorry, Sui. I just love your taste! Let's do it again!" Tohru pleaded.

"Tohru!"

"Oh... sorry, I couldn't help myself," Tohru apologized, though she didn't seem too remorseful.

Meanwhile, Kanna was sound asleep, curled up on the quilt, completely oblivious to the chaos around her.
