Despite anticipating that Kiana could be quite troublesome, Theresa never expected her niece to cause such distressing situations.

Rushing headlong towards Xia Chen and drawing his attention was akin to inviting Schicksal personnel to apprehend her. However, observing Xia Chen's demeanor, it seemed he was unaware of the significance of the Kaslana family, which brought a slight relief to Theresa.

She worried excessively about this foolish niece.

As they stepped onto the training field, donning their armor, Kiana immediately launched an attack using gun-fu techniques against Xia Chen.

Xia Chen controlled his strength while countering. He no longer exerted full force on the training grounds; his physical abilities already surpassed many, further enhanced by his compatibility with Honkai Energy...

However, just as Xia Chen made contact with Kiana,

both their expressions involuntarily changed.

At that moment, his inner desires intensified even more fiercely.

Meanwhile, Kiana felt overwhelming fear, akin to being targeted by her natural predator.

Her face paled instantly. Before Theresa could comprehend what had happened, she saw Kiana collapsing weakly onto the ground.

Xia Chen fought his desires and maintained distance from Kiana.

"Kiana, what's wrong with your body?" he asked calmly, suppressing his emotions.

"Hey, Kiana, are you okay?"

Theresa rushed over anxiously.

Kiana shook her head, "Auntie, I suddenly feel drained of energy."

Strangely, memories of her past dreams resurfaced in her mind.

In the first dream, she transformed into a Herrscher.

The second dream, as a Herrscher, she nearly perished alongside Xia Chen.

And in the third dream, again as a Herrscher, she was relentlessly pursued and beaten by Xia Chen.

These dreams were vividly clear; she had even shared them with Bronya and Mei, treating them merely as anecdotes. However, now they seemed more than just tales.

As soon as Xia Chen made his move, she felt like encountering her natural predator, completely unable to muster any counterattack strength. It wasn't like her usual self. The Kiana of old would have fearlessly swung her bat against a Herrscher without hesitation. But now...

"Auntie, am I getting sick?"

"I'll take her for a medical check-up. Jake, please look after Xia Chen."

Theresa hastily carried Kiana away.

On the side, Himeko's gaze slightly narrowed.

With an apologetic smile, she said to Xia Chen, "Sorry about that, Kiana can be quite impulsive at times, causing you some trouble. If you don't mind, let's spar together."

However, Xia Chen shook his head.

He knew Himeko's health wasn't optimal.

"Instead, I'll use the Memory Battlefield. Thank you for your understanding, Major Himeko."

"It's no problem. From now on, just call me Teacher Himeko or by my first name." Murata Himeko didn't show any disappointment from being declined and smiled warmly. "Calling me 'Major' feels too formal between us."

Xia Chen smiled without further comment.

He had a rough idea why Kiana was acting so peculiarly.

The simulation scenarios might directly influence a person's subconscious mind. Just as it could confuse Xia Chen's perception of reality, it likely affected other participants similarly.

"Kiana, I heard something happened to you..."

When Mei and Bronya arrived at the Science Division, they found Kiana listlessly eating fruit.

Mei couldn't help but frown, turning to Theresa nearby. "Principal, what's wrong with Kiana?"

"I'm not sure; the Science Division hasn't determined any clear results yet." Theresa paused before continuing, "Today, during sparring with Xia Chen, Kiana suddenly experienced a strange weakness. According to her, encountering Xia Chen instilled such fear that she instantly lost all strength."

The Principal spoke with a concerned expression.

Under different circumstances, she might have suspected Kiana was feigning illness. But this time, Theresa had no doubts.

No one understood Kiana's competitive nature better than Theresa. She knew Kiana wouldn't resort to pretending sickness just to avoid confrontation.

"It's not entirely without reason, though."

Finishing her fruit, Kiana let out a soft burp and said, "I think it might be related to my recent dreams."

"I've been having multiple dreams about becoming a Herrscher, but in the last dream, Xia Chen chased me away... Ugh, so embarrassing! He must think I'm scared of him now."

"Additionally, when I physically touched him, it felt like there was another consciousness hidden within me, trying to pull me away and escape. It's so frustrating, really annoying," Kiana spoke with slight distress.

Her body showed no signs of physical issues, yet this fear akin to being targeted by her natural predator persisted.

Bronya remained expressionless. "So essentially, Kiana is admitting defeat to Xia Chen."

"I am not conceding," Kiana protested defiantly.

Before Xia Chen arrived, Kiana had made a bet with Bronya on who could defeat him the quickest. The wager involved receiving special attention from Mei for a month as the prize.

"Alright, Bronya, don't pick on Kiana at a time like this," Mei interjected gently.

"Oh, Mei! I knew you always treat me best." The girl immediately rushed towards Mei.

However, Project Bunny swiftly lifted her up.

Bronya calmly stated, "Silly Kiana, according to our bet, Big Sister Mei cannot give you any special treatment now."

Kiana couldn't help but glare at Bronya. "Put me down!"

"Okay, okay."

On the side, Theresa tried to smooth things over.

She paused momentarily before saying, "The current situation is that Kiana's body developed this issue for some unknown reason; it truly is bizarre."

If someone suggested the dream realm was influencing her, Theresa clearly wouldn't believe it. Unless caused by Fenghuang Down, a Divine Key, how could such effects be possible?

Meanwhile, the Science Division still hadn't determined any conclusive findings.

Raiden Mei and Bronya brought Kiana back to their dormitory, where she remained gloomy throughout.

Feeling utterly embarrassed, Kiana had no appetite even at dinnertime. After eating just two bowls of rice, she retreated to her room, shutting herself away from others.

Soon, Kiana drifted off to sleep, unaware that as she slumbered, another personality slowly began awakening.

"That person... Ugh, why would the mighty Queen fear a mere human?" Sirin gritted her teeth.

It was evident that today's incident was orchestrated by Sirin, triggered by her subconscious recollection of the terrifying dream.

Not only did Kiana feel humiliated, but Sirin also experienced equal embarrassment.

Then, with a peculiar force, Sirin's consciousness awakened only to be plunged back into slumber once more.

Currently, Xia Chen lay within his room.
