Evolution
Christopher continued to receive prompts of things getting enhanced by the system, then there were some thoughts he had.
'Hey system, has the Mana and air I've been transferring been enhanced as well?' He asked.
<No, the two things master has mentioned have not been enhanced so far.> The system replied and Christopher nodded. He never gave the command for such to happen, so he wasn't surprised.
'Enhance them, and while you're at it, enhance those two eggs as well.' Christopher ordered, not forgetting to enhance the two beast eggs that the Darius family had rewarded him.
A moment later.
<The atmospheric Mana within the master's Dimension has become 10,000× denser>
<The air proliferating throughout the master's Dimension has become 10,000× purer.>
<Prompt, 10 a phenomenon has occurred. The Mana and Air within the master's Dimension resonated. From now on, both have fused to some degree mixing air with Mana, all life forms dimension can inhale absorb dense without any repercussions achieve same effect of absorbing at an increased rate. And actively is times more effective than normal.> Christopher was pleasantly surprised.
He expected that the effects would be very appealing, but he was still amazed by the effects.
'If I wanted to, I could make my dimension a special training area for people if they were willing to pay. Though I obviously won't do that, but that means my subordinates in the future will have a field day in getting stronger. And when I upgrade my dimension in the future…' Christopher rubbed his hands together like a supervillain.
"Well, let's work towards it." He muttered just as the system notified him that he had successfully accomplished the task of getting enough land and trees and life forms (since there would naturally be living things amongst the trees)
<Prompt. Iridus Salamander egg has undergone enhancement. It now transformed into Light Dragon Egg.>
<Prompt. Iridus Salamander egg has undergone enhancement. It now transformed into Darkness Dragon Egg.> The second series of prompts left Christopher feeling giddy inside.
'Silver was incredible busted when I enhanced him, and he had a fairly normal background too. How overpowered will these two be? And even more so after the second enhancement?!' He could barely hold in his excitement.
"Now all that's left is the water and ores." Christopher said, and as if on cue, Silver came running through what remained of the trees in the surrounding area with his tail wagging. It seemed like he'd been successful.
"Did you find something?" Christopher asked with a smile and Silver yipped excitedly.
"Then lead the way." Christopher said and the wolf nodded before turning and dashing off in a certain direction, Christopher didn't waste anytime and followed close behind.
They ran for a few minutes before finally arriving at a clearing. And just as Christopher had hoped, there was a large lake that could be seen. Animals came from different directions to drink and the water was very calm, causing the scene to appear quite peaceful.
"That's perfect. It will add nicely to my dimension." Like a true colonizer, Christopher looked at the lake and didn't care in the slightest about how taking it into his dimension would affect the surrounding wildlife.
He strode towards the lake without a care in the world as despite Silver walking next to him happily, the sheer savagery that was being emitted from his body was more than enough to deter every living thing in a few kilometer radius.
Thus, Christopher had no troubles in reaching the lake.
'With its size, I'll probably have to transfer the water three times before the whole Lake is emptied. But I'll probably only need to do it twice if I want to reach the required amount of water needed to upgrade the dimension.' Christopher thought while putting his hand on his chin.
"Meh, I'll need more water anyway. Might as well go through with it." He shrugged and squatted before putting his hand inside.
A moment later, a huge portion of the lake disappeared causing a brief vacuum to appear in the lake which was then quickly filled in by the rest of the lake water. However, the whole Lake has quite visibly shrunk downwards.
<27,900 gallons of water have been enhanced into 27,900 pristine water.>
Christopher went deeper into the bank and repeated this action twice before majority of the water had been removed, leaving only a small bit of water remaining inside, leaving a massively empty bowl in the earth. But there was something else that caught Christopher's attention.
He skidded to the bottom of the basin and stood inside ankle deep water, and sure enough, he saw massive boulders that weren't made of rocks, but instead seemed to be made from a strange material.
<Alcorite (Lesser Purity). A rare ore used in the creation and middle level armaments weapons.>
<Mythril (Lesser Purity). A rare ore that can enhance the flow of Mana, used in creating high level armaments and weapons.>...
"... That's amazingly convenient." Christopher blinked and decided not to waste anymore time being surprised. Still, who would have thought that the lake would have exactly what he needed?
"Two for one I guess." He thought with a smile and a moment later, all the huge rocks were transferred into his dimension.
<Prompt. All the necessary requirements have been met. Master can now upgrade his Dimension (Level 1) into a Small Dimensional Island 2). Does master want to initiate now?> Christopher saw the prompt and didn't hesitate to say yes.
<Confirmed. The master is required to enter the dimension along with everything that has been enhanced by it before.> The system said and Christopher nodded.
He turned to Silver who had been waiting patiently and rubbed his head.
"Alright bug guy, we're about to get a little bit stronger. You ready?" He asked and Silver yipped in excitement.
Christopher nodded at this and transferred him and Silver into the Dimension with a thought. And already, it looked vastly different from before.
For starters, the center of the dimension was a massive lake that had water which looked so pure that it seemed like a sin to gaze upon it. Moreover, the land around it made of the exquisite Ancient Divine Soil was now covered in grass and trees that gave off soft green light that could heal terrible injuries just from being close to them.
Moreover, the life forms that had also been transferred into the Dimension had undergone changes as things like squirrels and even insects had been enhanced causing their appearances to change greatly, making them appear like ancient mythical beasts that peacefully moved around their now home.
Finally, Christopher was able to notice what the system was talking about concerning the Mana and the air and it was incredibly faint, but one would be able to notice that the air appeared to have a faint whitish blue hue to it. And whenever he took a breath, he felt like he was being embraced by warm hands as every cell in his body screamed joyfully.
He couldn't help but take a few more breaths and revel in the sensation as it truly felt too good. It was only after a while that he managed to get himself under control.
"Alright, no more wasting time. System, begin the upgrade." Christopher said and a moment later.
"Confirmed. Please brace yourself." This time, Christopher didn't didn't take the warning lighttkyas he gritted his teeth and waited for the pain to come.
And a moment later, a soul wrenching pain struck him as his mind immediately blanked out, spots appearing in his vision as it vmfelt as if his entire body wqs being ripped to shreds and then rebuilt only to be shredded again.
He couldn't even scream as the pain made him incapable of performing any action, whether voluntary or involuntary..
Time seemed to stretch on for eternity and if Christopher could think, he'd be sure that he'd af passed out by now if the system wasn't there keeping him conscious.
It was only after ten minutes that the pain finally receded and Christopher let out a ragged breath.
"Jesus Christ." He muttered and sat up. He was convinced that he would never get used to that.
His mind managed to clear after a bit and he looked up, and he was immediately amazed.
Mountains that almost seemed to be made from precious crystals and ores, clouds that seemed so white that they didn't exist, massive trees that gave off such vibrant auras of life that Christopher already felt the phantom pain in his body vanishing.
"What the? Is this a small island?" He exclaimed in amazement as he looked around.
It was then that he noticed Silver who had gotten up, looked different.
"... Silver?" He said incredulously looking at the white haired boy with fluffy wolf ears and a tail on his backside looking no older than 16 stretching.
"Yes master?" A soft voice came from the both adorable and handsome boy who's eyes then widened a moment later.
"... I just spoke? Wait!" Shock filled his eyes as he looked at his hands and then the rest of his body. Then he looked up at Christopher, excitement blooming.
"Master! I'm like you now!!" He said joyfully and got up before hugging Christopher like a son hugging his father.
Christopher subconsciously patted his head, but his shock was still apparent.
'I knew that creatures could gain a human form if their strength reached a certain level. But I thought they had to reach the king rank for such a thing to occur. Wait a minute!' Christopher immediately looked at Silver's stats.
