Emergency call

Tetsuya Kurosaki sat alone in a dimly lit room, the soft glow of a single lamp casting long shadows across the desk. In front of him lay a stack of papers and a few scattered photographs, all of them containing pieces of a puzzle he'd been obsessing over for weeks.

His sharp eyes moved quickly from one detail to the next, his fingers brushing over the edges of the photos, occasionally stopping to examine something more closely.

He leaned back in his chair, a slight smirk forming on his lips. "I knew it," he muttered to himself, voice low but filled with satisfaction. "Something wasn't right about that woman's shop. Hana... she couldn't have made it on her own to that level. The numbers don't add up."

Tetsuya's fingers tapped rhythmically on the desk as he picked up one of the papers—financial records from the last few months. He'd obtained them through his own methods, nothing exactly legal, but Tetsuya had never cared much for rules.
