Shrek's Concerns

After the commotion, under Yu Xiaogang's "strict discipline," Dai Mubai finally calmed down. Suppressing his disgust, Yu Xiaogang worked to steady his mood, sternly saying, "Even though you won against the Mad Battle Team today, who are not weak among the Soul Masters, you must not become arrogant. I have something important to show you."

As Shrek's group looked at the information handed over by Yu Xiaogang, except for Zhu Zhuqing, who already knew about it, everyone had a serious expression. This was a team where all members held at least a Silver Soul Fighter title.

"Teacher, what's this?" Tang San asked gravely.

Yu Xiaogang glanced at Dai Mubai, who was still lazily leaning against him, and cleared his throat before replying, "This is information about the Emperor Team from a month ago. I obtained it through special channels. Some of them you should already know. Ye Lingling is the healer who treated Dai Mubai, and Uchiha Zong is Zuzong you've all met before. "But teacher, didn't you say that Zuzong only became a Soul Elder a year ago? How could his level rise to 38 in such a short time?" asked Ning Rongrong, puzzled. She had always known Zuzong was strong but thought his level was around 34 at most. A three-level increase in a year was already impressive.

Yu Xiaogang explained, "He's been unique since childhood, never following the usual paths. His training methods often seemed like flights of fancy, but his strength keeps increasing visibly. He likely concealed some of his abilities to avoid drawing too much attention."

Tang San frowned. He had tried some of Zuzong's training methods in secret, such as walking on water and climbing trees. While he could briefly manage it with his Ghost Shadow Perplexing Track, it was impossible to perform so naturally like Zuzong. Asking Zuzong for guidance? That was laughable. They barely avoided fighting as it was.

Yu Xiaogang then turned to Zhu Zhuqing. "Zhuqing, you've known Zuzong for a long time. You must know more."

All eyes were on Zhu Zhuqing, even Dai Mubai, whose expression grew complicated.

Zhu Zhuqing nodded reluctantly. Since Zuzong no longer hid his strength, she didn't mind revealing some of their past. She recounted how they met in Star Dou Forest at age ten, though she glossed over the part where she was hunted down by Zhu Zhuyun. Observing Dai Mubai's shifting expressions, she noted with disgust that he felt no guilt, only fear.

As she avoided divulging any specific information about Zuzong's abilities, Yu Xiaogang sighed, "It seems he broke through to Level 30 at just ten and a half years old. What remarkable talent!"

"Wow, Zhuqing! So Zuzong was your hero, rescuing you, and then you sought him out, reuniting in Suotuo City and falling in love. It's like a beautiful romance from a book!" Ning Rongrong said dreamily.

Zhu Zhuqing blushed and nodded.

Ma Hongjun and Oscar glanced at Dai Mubai, who was still lost in painful memories, thinking, "Sister Dai, you really didn't stand a chance."

Meanwhile, Meng Yiran gazed longingly at Tang San.

Tang San, however, was focused on getting stronger. His pride as a self-proclaimed genius was wounded, and he swore to himself, "I don't care about any stupid love story. I just want to become the strongest, stronger than anyone else."

"Teacher, are you suggesting we defeat the Emperor Team?" Tang San asked.

Yu Xiaogang nodded, then shook his head. "Yes and no. With your current strength, you would certainly lose. I just want you to stay humble."

"How? We just defeated the Mad Battle Team, and they're all over Level 35!" Ma Hongjun protested.

Yu Xiaogang said, "The Mad Battle Team is just another defeated opponent of the Emperor Team. They lost in under two minutes."

"Teacher, did they not have time to use their 'Berserk' ability?" Tang San asked.

Yu Xiaogang replied, "They used it. But even after activating 'Berserk,' they were quickly defeated by Uchiha Zong with a single move."

Everyone gulped. How could they defeat such monsters?

Yu Xiaogang continued, "My goal is for you to reach the Silver Soul Fighter level within a month. You'll likely face the Emperor Team then, but don't worry. According to my information, Uchiha Zong hasn't participated in a team match since earning his Silver Soul Fighter title two months ago. You'll rarely encounter him in team battles."

Hearing that Uchiha Zong wouldn't be fighting them, everyone breathed a sigh of relief. None of them wanted to end up like "Dai Mubai" after experiencing his terrifying "One Thousand-Year Kill."
