On the Dou Qi Continent, in a hidden relic within the Jia Ma Empire.

Gu He, who had just been promoted to a sixth-grade alchemist, was very pleased. Not only had he recently become the number one alchemist in the Jia Ma Empire, but he had also obtained a treasure map left behind by his predecessors.

Taking the Body Transformation Pill out of its valuable jade container, a unique fragrance spread throughout the surroundings. Gu He brought it close to his nose. Just as Gu He was about to put the Body Transformation Pill back into the jade container, something unexpected and infuriating happened. The pill vanished right from his hand. This was a Body Transformation Pill, a seventh-grade pill that he couldn't buy even if he spent his entire fortune!

"Who is it? Who stole my Body Transformation Pill? Show yourself! If I find you, I'll make sure you die!" Gu He roared.

As a sixth-grade alchemist, Gu He had a strong soul power. Unless someone's cultivation or soul realm surpassed his, they couldn't escape his perception. Of course, there were some secret techniques that could shield the soul's power, which was what infuriated Gu He the most. 

Because a Dou Zun wouldn't care about the Body Transformation Pill, and Dou Zong or Dou Huang experts would simply take it by force. Now, there was only one possibility: a thief used a secret technique to steal his pill.

Thinking of this, Gu He spread his soul power, searching the area.

Outside the relic, beside a lake, the space above the lake began to distort. A young man in black attire with long blue-silver hair appeared, who was none other than Zuzong, who had been forced to teleport to the Dou Qi Continent after a failed theft.

"Damn, at least pick a normal landing spot!" Seeing his landing point was the lake, Zuzong instantly infused soul power into his feet. When he touched the lake, his body didn't sink, only causing ripples as he stood firmly on the surface.

Wiping the nonexistent sweat from his forehead, Zuzong sighed, "Finally landed safely."

Suddenly, a dark figure flew over Zuzong's head; it was Gu He, who had rushed out of the relic to search for the thief.

Zuzong looked up and happened to meet Gu He's gaze. Under the moonlight, their eyes met.

Zuzong thought, "Damn it! Safe my ass! I've run into the owner!"

Although Zuzong didn't look familiar, Gu He's intuition told him this seemingly harmless blue-haired youth was the thief.

"Thief, hand over my Body Transformation Pill, and I'll leave your corpse intact," Gu He declared.

Facing Gu He, who had the strength of a Dou Wang, Zuzong was no match. With no choice, he only had one way out of this certain-death situation. "System, prepare for teleportation!"

[Beep! Since Battle Through the Heavens is linked to The Great Ruler, a higher-level world, teleportation will cost 20,000 Hatred Points. Please specify the teleportation location.]

Gu He was furious. Seeing Zuzong ignore him only confirmed his suspicion. "You dare ignore me? You must be the guilty thief!"

"Die!"

As the word left his mouth, Gu He's right hand clenched, gathering Dou Qi. Fire-attributed Dou Qi condensed into a fireball, hurling it toward Zuzong.

Seeing the incoming fireball's speed and power, Zuzong panicked. "Damn, it's already at my doorstep! Anywhere is fine, as long as it's safe!"

[Beep! 20,000 Hatred Points deducted. 4,501 Hatred Points remaining. Random teleportation initiated. More time would be deducted from Host's remaining time in this world.]

"Boom!"

The fireball hit the lake, sending waves dozens of meters high. In that split second, Zuzong successfully teleported away, an action that Gu He detected with his sharp soul power.

Seeing his target vanish under his nose, Gu He, burning with anger, roared into the night, "Thief! Even if you flee to the ends of the earth, I won't let you go!"

Once again, space twisted, and Zuzong was transported to a new location on the Dou Qi Continent.

"Hmm? Why is it so dark? Where am I?"

Sniff sniff.

"Smells nice... Is this a girl's room?"

As he spoke, Zuzong began to feel around.

"What's this under my butt? Soft but a bit flat, feels kind of bumpy. Damn it, what's with my hands? Why can't they stop?"

Just as Zuzong was getting engrossed, a girl's voice came from underneath him.

"Big Brother, can you get off me? Xun'er is feeling uncomfortable."

What? Hearing the voice calling herself Xun'er and realizing he was sitting on her, Zuzong was shocked. He quickly flipped off the bed.

Xun'er? Anyone familiar with "Battle Through the Heavens" would know who she was: the number one beauty, the main female character, and the number one admirer of Xiao Yan.

Of course, if she were to admire someone like Zuzong, that would be even better.

"If this is Xun'er's room, then Ling Ying must be outside," Zuzong thought. Cold sweat dripped from his forehead. He had used up his 20,000 Hatred Points to escape Gu He, and there was still a long time before he could return to the Douluo Continent. If Ling Ying barged in now, he would be doomed.

"I'm doomed! What do I do? Is my legacy as the ultimate cheat king going to end here?"

Xun'er, seeing the boy panic, got up and observed him in the moonlight. She was curious about this mysterious young man who had suddenly appeared in her room and had been... well, touching her.

Starting from his feet, he wasn't very tall. He wore a strange black outfit she had never seen before, sparking her curiosity. His blue-silver hair cascaded down to reveal a handsome but slightly immature face. He was flustered, scratching his head and ears, which Xun'er found amusing.

"Pfft!" Xun'er couldn't help but laugh. "Hehe, Big Brother, you haven't told Xun'er why you came into her room!"

Her laughter was sweet, but to Zuzong, it sounded full of hidden danger. He thought, "If I can't give a satisfactory answer, I might not make it out alive."

Clearing his throat, Zuzong responded, "Ahem, I'm here to catch a flower thief!"
