I actually don't understand why these authors need to humiliate Xiao Yan. I simply don't see the need for Xiao Yan to be the MC's main enemy. At least in the world of Doupo, the Soul Emperor already plays a great role as the villain and main enemy. He really puts a certain amount of pressure on any MC who doesn't have a super op system. Although these Chinese authors give Xiao Yan that halo of a super op protagonist. Even though he lost the treasure opportunities to the new MC, he always finds new treasures with his absurd luck. Why do they say he's the son of destiny? But if he really is the son of destiny, then the MC in the fanfic is destined to lose, especially those MCs who don't have a system. I even say that an MC with a system can beat Xiao Yan's absurd luck, but I really think it's ridiculous for an MC without a system to beat Xiao Yan with this heavenly luck scenario.
