ch28-Tutorial (23) The start of the End

Oliver knew that this first fusion had been a success after realizing both had become 1 singular item when inspecting them.

[the Empowered Elemental Stones]

Description: Fusion Item, a fusion of the Empowerment Plasma that was used to increase the attributes of the Elemental Stones. Incomplete.

Now knowing he was on the right pat Oliver started experimenting yet again, this time only 15 minutes was needed for the final product to appear.

the Empowered Elemental Stones were sucked up within the Grand Orb as it stared silently rotating within the Orb, the Orb not only concealing but also containing its aura and power.

Oliver quickly inspected it.

[the Empowered Elemental Grand Orb]

Description: Fusion Item, a fusion of the Empowerment Plasma that was used to increase the attributes of the Elemental Stones, and the Grand Orb, used to harness the increased power. Incomplete.

Oliver nodded happily as he put the Orb away, now that no energy was leaking out of it Oliver could safely keep it with him. At the verry least no one from the tutorial floor could ever detect it.

Now done with his business Oliver made sure to relax for some time before going to the next point on his agenda.

The destruction of the assassins guild.

This sounded intense, but in reality it was rather simple, the only thing Oliver needed to make sure of was that he could beat their guild leader and their strongest combatants.

And now with his stat boost he was 100% confident in doing so, even before, he was about 70% confident. But to make sure his grander plan succeeded he had no choice but to sacrifice some AP to guarantee success.

Walking through town Olive made his way to the small back alleyways of the inner city. As the inner city was well protected no crime took place here, but that didn't take away from its eery atmosphere.

Street lights had about 50 meters between them, leaving long blind spots on the empty road, no businesses were here, only the occasional servants entrance of a mansion facing the other way.

One of those servant entrances looked rather suspicious, unlike the normal holy symbols that hung above most doors in these part, this cross was slightly slanted, and had clearly begun to rust.

Now, to any normal summoned player, and even to most low level challengers, this might look rather normal. After all, such sights weren't uncommon on earth.

But here, especially in the inner city that was an entirely different story.

The religious cross had a far more holy meaning here than on earth, even the slightest bit of dust would be seen as a scandal, let alone not hanging it strait and rust.

Now one might think, how has this place been undiscovered if this is such a crime in the tutorial floor. And the answer is pretty simple, the class system.

The difference between the rich and poor in the tutorial was so vast that even the inner city guards wouldn't want to step in a 5 block radius of any servant related ally way.

And any servant seeing this, even though they are religious would never report it, as they knew that they would be punished if no wrongdoer was found.

Oliver made his way inside, carefully opening the door, stopping it right before it went open more than 45 degrees.

The door wasn't locked, that wasn't the assassins style, rather it was boobytrapped, anyone that opened the door too far or too tight would be decapitated.

Of course Oliver could dodge such a simple trick, but his way down would no doubt be much more difficult if he got found so quickly.

Beyond the door was a rather shabby looking servants kitchen, filled with cobwebs and seemingly left in a hurry.

Oliver didn't bother looking around as he made his way to the magical stove top, and carefully put his hands on the 2 knobs, his fingers only touching the areas with slightly less dust than the rest.

Upon turning them the floor boards next to Oliver started to sway like water, as they started looking vaguely translucent.

Not even waiting for them to totally disappear Oliver, knowing these had already become nothing but magical projections stepped on them, revealing a staircase down.

The rest of the way didn't have any traps, Oliver merely navigated his way through countless small hallways that looked identical, each having different small rooms on either side.

Oliver had no doubt that he could gain something by robbing them blind, but he didn't have time for that.

He chose this specific time for a verry good reason. All the top members of the assassins guild, were currently here.

From what Oliver gathered this was an incredible event, as the only way to gather them all into one meeting was to rally the 3 noble houses against their plan.

Well, there should be other ways, as the tutorial has billions of different scenarios, but from the trillions of challengers who have passed it, this was the only possibility found.

Rushing through the hallways Oliver ignored the countless gazes he felt on himself, clearly from assassins hidden along the pathways who where observing him keenly.

Oliver however didn't even bother to look at them, as he knew none of them would make a move on him. Not only did he know how to enter, he also knew the exact route to the big meeting that was currently being held.

If he wasn't an attendee of the meeting, how could he possibly know all of this.

Still, normally they would have reported such an issue, but this meeting was unique, none of them dared to even step foot in that room.

Eventually Oliver felt the gazes lessen, as he also found the meeting room. If he didn't memorize this exact path Oliver would have surely passed it without suspecting a thing, but no.

BANG

Oliver kicked the door in, what revealed itself was a long table, a singular hooded figure at the head of it, and 6 men on either side of the table.

Already having cast 20 magic missiles that were currently flighting around him Oliver was ready to go.
