Chapter 09 : Driving for Taylor Swift

After the training, Link got his phone in the locker room of the boxing gym. There were two messages on his phone from Taylor Swift an hour ago, asking him what he was doing and talking about rehearsal.

Link thought about it and called Taylor Swift directly.

"Hello, I'm Taylor's mother. She's rehearsing and can't take your call for the time being."

The voice of Taylor Swift's mother, Mrs. Andrea, came from the microphone.

"Hello Mrs. Andrea, my name is Link, may I ask when will Taylor's rehearsal end?"

Link said politely.

"Not sure yet."

"Okay, I'll contact her later."

The person on the other end of the phone hung up quickly, and Bobo's voice came from the other end. Link felt that Mrs. Andrea didn't like him very much, and her politeness was cold.

But it doesn't matter. He has no intention of hooking up with Lady Andrea, so he doesn't need to please her.

Link sent Taylor a message back and rode his motorcycle around downtown Miami.

He has been in Miami for more than a month, but has not been to any other place except Palm Beach. It would be nice to walk around while the weather is good.

Miami is the most populous city in Florida, located in the southeast corner of the United States. The urban area consists of three counties: Miami-Dade County, Broward County, and Palm Beach County.

The beach where Baker's Shop is located is in the middle of the Outer Beaches in Palm Beach County. Because of the high quality of the beach, it is called the Gold Coast.

Miami is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the east and the Gulf of Mexico to the west. It is located in the subtropical monsoon climate zone with temperatures above 15 degrees Celsius all year round. It has two seasons, winter and summer, and the winter temperature is relatively warm.

Miami is known as the Garden City, the American Retirement Center, and the 'God's Waiting Room' because of its warm and humid climate, lush vegetation all year round, evergreen trees, and high-quality air that is not polluted by industry.

Miami is also an international metropolis and the Latin American headquarters of many multinational companies, including Disney, ExxonMobil, FedEx, Microsoft, Oracle, Sony, etc. It holds an important position in finance, commerce, media, entertainment, art and international trade.

In May last year, Miami was named the cleanest city in the United States by Forbes magazine. In March this year, it was named the richest city in the United States and the fifth richest city in the world by the UBS.

In Palm Beach Gold Coast, skyscrapers, five-star hotels, high-end holiday apartments and sea view villas can be seen everywhere. Luxury cars are lined up one after another on the streets, even more densely packed than those at a luxury car expo.

Link was riding his scooter among the luxury cars. When the car passed by the Trump International Resort Hotel, his cell phone rang twice.

"You are practicing boxing? Why are you practicing boxing?"

"I can box too, let's have a fight sometime (fist fist laugh)"

Link looked at the message and smiled.

Taylor Swift was quite cute when she wasn't angry.

"I practice boxing because I like it, and the diving shop business is not so good, so I plan to work as a boxer part-time to earn some pocket money."

"I won't fight with you. You're a girl and if I punch you, you'll definitely cry for a long time."

Ding Dong~Ding Dong~

Taylor sent several messages in a row, telling him that boxing was not a good choice and that it was too dangerous. He also said that he had a nice and charming voice and that he could consider becoming a singer.

Singer? Link laughed. His voice was indeed good and his singing was OK, but he could not sing and could not even read the musical notation. It was too difficult for him to make a living by singing, unless Taylor Swift invited him to form a team with her.

Taylor Swift would be responsible for singing and he would be responsible for "Yeah~"

"Ms. Ivaka, here are your car keys."

As he was replying to Taylor's message, a waiter in a red shirt passed by his shoulder, holding a pair of car keys in both hands and handed them to a woman coming out of the hotel.

Link looked up, his blue eyes flashing, and he was a little surprised.

The woman was tall, about 180 cm, and was wearing pointed high heels, almost as tall as Link. She wore exquisite sunglasses, a sea blue shirt on the upper body, and a black skirt on the lower body. Her figure was curvy, and both the front and back were heavy and tiring.

Although Taylor is 180 cm tall and has a good figure, his level of development is far from comparable to the woman in front of him.

Link thought the woman looked familiar, and when she passed by, he called out, "Ms. Ivaka, I'm your fan, can you sign an autograph for me?"

The woman stopped and looked back at him. Seeing that he was a handsome man, she smiled and said, "Are you my fan?"

"Yes, I have read your report and I think you are a very intelligent woman."

"Thanks!"

The woman smiled politely.

Link felt around in his pockets and spread his hands regretfully. "I forgot to bring a pen, Miss Ivaka. Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Link Baker, and I'm an excellent boxer."

"Boxer? Are you good?"

The woman adjusted her glasses, looked him up and down and smiled.

"Yes, Miss Ivaka, soon you will see me on TV and on the news, and they will call me the boxing champion."

Link raised his handsome brows and said confidently.

"Haha, you're so funny. Goodbye, Mr. Boxing Champion!"

The woman waved and got into the red Ferrari Enzo sports car parked on the side of the road. The car started and the wind blew her golden hair away.

Link shrugged his shoulders, regretting that he didn't bring a pen. Evaka's signature should be able to sell for dozens of dollars in the future.

He suddenly flicked his forehead. When he became a boxing champion, he could earn tens or even hundreds of millions of dollars for a match. What would a few tens of dollars mean to him? It was true that a poor man could not change his poor mindset.

"The rehearsal is almost over, and I'm going to go out for dinner. There's an Italian seafood restaurant next to the gym. Their shrimp soup is delicious. Do you want to try it?"

Taylor asked via message.

"Okay, I'll be there in ten minutes."

Taylor rehearsed at the Hard Rock Stadium, which is located in the wealthy community of West Palm Beach. It has the best environment, convenient transportation, and is close to the beach. It is also called Miami Gardens.

It took Link eight minutes to reach the east gate of Hard Rock Stadium.

This stadium is the home base of the Miami Dolphins, a team of the Major League Football. It is the largest and most luxurious stadium in Miami, with a capacity of 65,000 people, which is two or three times larger than the American Airlines Arena, the home base of the Miami Heat.

A music rehearsal was going on in the gymnasium, with people coming and going in front of the door.

There were many fans sitting on the grass in front of the stadium, holding posters of star singers such as Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Carrie Underwood, Alison Krauss, Vince Gill, etc., waiting for their idols to emerge from the stadium. Among them were several fans of Taylor.

Link waited in front of the door for more than ten minutes. Taylor, wearing a pink baseball cap, a printed T-shirt and jeans, came out from the east gate in a low-key manner.

"I saw your fans. It turns out you are a big star."

"Of course, didn't you know that before?"

Taylor raised his chin proudly, with a hint of playfulness on his delicate face.

"I know, but I didn't expect you to be so popular."

Link smiled, turned the accelerator hard, and the motorcycle roared onto the street.
