It's been five days now, and Sylus still hasn't woken up. I'd finally been discharged from the hospital. My arm hasn't healed completely just yet, but at least I could move it now without too much pain shooting all the way to my shoulder.
I made my way to the exit door of the hospital, and Caden stood out there waiting for me.
"Where is he?" I asked as I followed him to the car, and he opened the door for me, letting me in. I took my seat in the passenger seat while he moved over to the driver's side.
"He tried to run, but we caught him," he said. "Right now, Dad has him locked up in one of the empty bases inside the family house."
I glanced at him and drew a soft breath.
"Sylus will be fine." His sudden words had me turning my head to stare at him. "Will he?" I asked.
