••• Hayden’s POV •••
“Urrggghhh…”
I groaned as I felt my whole body hurt.
I felt like my bones were crushed.
I opened my eyes and had to squint as the blazing sun nearly blinded me.
Trying to sit up, I winced when I felt my shoulder hurt.
Looking at my shoulder, I saw a hole that had started to heal.
A bullet hole?
Looking down, I saw myself naked, and my body was covered in bruises and abrasions from branches and rocks.
What the hell had happened to me?
And the most important question…
Who the hell was I?
How come I couldn't remember anything?
I tried to search my memory, only to come out blank except for one thing - I was a werewolf.
Was it the reason I hadn't died yet, and some of my wounds seemed to have healed?
Werewolf…
I should have a wolf, shouldn’t I?
“Hey, you there?” I asked my wolf in my mind, only to be greeted by silence.
Sighing, I realized my wolf might have slept and wouldn't wake up for a while because I was severely injured.
