I saw Noah standing not far from the main entrance of the Moon Crest Pack holding my clothes as I had instructed him through our mindlink when we were coming here.

“Alpha,” he greeted as I shifted back to my human form and he handed me my clothing.

“Did you hear any news about Charlotte?” I asked as I hurriedly put on my clothes.

“No, they wouldn't let anyone go in the pack,” he replied.

I replied with a hum and was about to step toward the entrance when Noah stopped me.

“Alpha, do you think it’s wise to care that much about Charlotte? She’s the killer of your brother’s baby,” he said bitterly with hatred toward Charlotte.

“You dare to question my decision?” I snapped at him.

“I’m sorry, Alpha.” He quickly got on one knee to show his respect. “I’m just reminding you.”

“It wasn't her. Sofia did it by herself.” I decided to let him know the truth.
