As soon as Loki finished his detention he ducked into the dorms and after bidding Dominic a goodnight he stepped into his room to speak to Elane.
Falling asleep just as Elane did, Loki woke up on time the next day.
"Who's that?" Dominic asked Loki.
"Who?" Loki's eyes froze as they glanced at the man sitting beside Quirrell at the teacher's table.
"The guy with all those girls around him." Dominic pointed verbally without looking at Loki. If he had looked, he would have seen Loki had started to sweat profusely.
The man was very effeminate, almost woman-like in his composition. His skin was as clear as jade while his complexion was pale, almost death-like.
He had clean black hair parted right down the middle, and a pair of sharp red eyes that appeared to pierce right through anything he looked at.
Around him were girls of various years all chatting about seemingly random things.
"Yea- Yeah, who's that guy anyway? Did they accept a new teacher midway through the semester?" Loki pretended to be alright and tried to blend in with the conversation.
"No way, it's never happened before, and they would've warned us prefects at least if there was a new professor coming mid-term."
"Maybe he's here for an event?" Loki prompted and hoped that was the case but Dominic shot him down, "No, I haven't been informed to prepare the students for any event."
As the Great Hall grew restless, Professor Dumbledore entered the Great Hall and attracted everyone's eyes to himself and by extent their silence.
Standing in front of his chair Dumbledore looked at the silent great hall with a pleasant smile plastered on his face that gave him a grandfatherly vibe.
"Greetings to everyone present in the hall today, I have a short announcement to make, regarding student's complaints. The faculty has heard your voices and realises that it is possible that Professor Quirrell is a little burdened and hence to share his load, for the lower classes will be Professor Christopher John Graham."
The man who was the topic of everyone's discussion in the Great Hall stood up and bowed kindly with a decent smile meshed into his face.
All the younger students clapped while the older students groaned since they never protested and hence they were now stuck with Quirrell even though there appeared to be a better professor than him in the castle now.
"Well, that solves the mystery.", Dominic said with a slight disappointment in his tone.
"Yeah it does.", Loki said dryly.
"Don't you feel happy? You've got a class you can no longer skip." Dominic teased and Loki rolled his eyes. But inwardly he couldn't help but lampoon.
'Seriously!?'
'And here I thought Dumbelman was already bad.'
'How couldn't he even figure out that Chirsopher whatever was Mr. A! He's a psychopath! A mass murderer that set up a competition for murdering people for fun!'
'Argghhhh!!! If I didn't know that qualified people like Professor Snape and McGonagall trusted him I would think Dumbelman has lost his mind and is losing control!'
'What does he do all day? Plot conspiracy theories to target the main character?'
'What is this supposed to be? Character development?'
'Tsk. Tsk. Why is Dumbledore even planning so many conspiracies? Is he a Conspirer from the Red Priest pathway?'
'*sigh* Now remains the important question. Why is Mr. A here. And is he here for me?'
Leaving the Great Hall after a short breakfast, Loki stepped into a cubicle to do his thing and enter the Sefirah castle.
In the castle, Loki summoned the ruby ring to his finger and called out the soul of the Mystery Pryer to perform a divination. Pulling to himself the Topaz pendant, Loki sat down on a chair and table and let his hand freely rest so that the pendant would stop moving.
"Mr. A came to Hogwarts to find me."
"Mr. A came to Hogwarts to find me."
"Mr. A came to Hogwarts to find me."
…
"Mr. A came to Hogwarts to find me."
Opening his eyes, Loki looked at the pendant and *sighed* since it was spinning clockwise slowly, which probably meant that in spite of coming to Hogwarts to find him directly, Mr. A didn't know of his identity completely and Loki confirmed it through another divination.
Thinking of a new question, Loki closed his eyes for dream divination.
"The reason is Mr. A at Hogwarts."
"The reason is Mr. A at Hogwarts."
"The reason is Mr. A at Hogwarts."
…
"The reason is Mr. A at Hogwarts."
Loki let his astral body roam the spirit world and tried to glean any insight into the situation.
Soon he spotted Mr. A kneeling on the floor talking to another robbed man but before he could learn anything more, he felt his head blown away.
Loud lunatic ravings began to descend upon his ears, worse than the cacophony of sounds he heard during his time when his spirit body transferred to the Sefirah Castle.
Loki stopped the divination immediately and forced himself back into the castle to protect himself since he felt his body grow welts and his very being almost be touched by the corruption he was about to gain from looking at the god directly.
'Damn, that was the True Creator wasn't it?'
'Did he notice my attempt at divination and interrupt me?'
'But how did he notice me?'
'He shouldn't have noticed me this easily, was he preparing to intercept me?'
'Was it because there was a Mystery Pryer soul in the ring I stole that he recognised since it was used before by Mr. A?'
Loki contemplated a little and concluded that either the spirit of the Mystery Pryer he was using was too recognisable, or Mr. A had used high-level anti-divination items that could adapt to the grey fog's peeping and could easily block it.
'Damn, this means that I've already ascertained to them that I am in Hogwarts since I pulled off a high-level divination right after seeing Mr. A.'
'But they should be looking for someone on an angel level since it took the interference of the true creator to keep me away.'
'Hopefully, I don't ever have to hear the True Creator Rap again.'
Loki sat in the Sefirah Castle for a while as he contemplated how to handle the situation. Still, with not many ideas coming to his mind he decided laying low and avoiding Mr. A would be for the best.
'I could skip his classes but that'll probably mark me as a target instantly.'
'If I attend his classes at least it won't be super obvious that it's me, but the problem is if Mr. A has some way to identify me.'
'My height could be an issue. But I'm neither too tall or too short for him to catch on as quick.'
'*sigh* I should really get a handle on learning to duel faster.'
'I'll try using the Ring of Harvest and the soul of the Dawn Paladin in it to learn basic combat.'
Satisfied with his basic plan, Loki departed from his stay in the sefirah castle after a quick glance at the ring that now seemed more troublesome than it was worth.
'Damn, what a way to start a day.'
