Chapter 7-[Kryptonian, Kidnapped?]

Relaxing in my living room I was taking one of the few days off I had had since the near destruction of the sun.

On Flash's advice, I had gotten a video game console which I was using when the communicator Batman had given me two years ago rang.

"Max here, what's going on Batman?" 

"I need your help with a situation involving plants" that made me quickly think of Pamela.

"Sure, where do you want to meet?" His response surprised me a little.

"In my cave" Without saying anything else I ended the call and turned off the devices to leave my home a few seconds later.

Touching the Omnitrix I transformed into XLR8 as it seemed that Batman was in a hurry.

Running at full speed, it took me a few minutes to have Gotham City in sight, which to my surprise was slowly being embraced by a large number of plants.

Avoiding most I noticed that citizens were running scared while emergency services tried to stop the plants.

Arriving at Wayne Manor, I went around it to enter through the back door of the cave.

Entering I reached Batman's computer who was waiting for me with Robin and Alfred.

"I'm sorry for the delay, by the way, I already saw the magnitude of the problem with the plants, do you think it's Pa-Ivy?" Alfred offered me a glass of water which I accepted as I returned to my human form.

Both Alfred and Robin had noticed my slip of the tongue but Batman never said anything.

"At first I thought about it, however, Ivy alone does not have the power to make the plants grow that much, I tried to look for her as soon as everything started but I did not find her in her usual places" leaving the computer he stopped to look at me "We will go see her accomplice in her latest crimes".

Looking at him, I followed him while he said goodbye to the other two occupants of the cave, knowing who we were going to look for.

"I suppose I'll have the pleasure of visiting Arkhan" he didn't answer me as he got into his car.

Looking at the streets as Batman drove I couldn't help but notice that even during the day Gotham was somewhat depressing.

"Have you trained with your Kryptonian form?" Surprised by the question, I looked at him, noticing that his eyes never left the road.

"Yes...Superman agreed to train with me when we have free time, we have trained three times, it is...difficult, a lot of power but I have no control, according to Superman he went through the same thing at that age" I couldn't help but remember the accidents I had caused transformed into Kryptonian.

"Your file grows every day, and I still don't have an effective solution." Understanding what he was referring to, I remembered my evil version.

"I can give you the plans for an electromagnetic switch, it won't stop me completely but it will give you some seconds to incapacitate me" Looking at Batman I noticed how he pressed a button allowing the car to drive itself while he looked at me.

"Are you sure you want to do something like that?" Sighing I responded.

"After what happened in the other universe, yes, I think it's better to have a backup plan in case I need to be stopped." Batman looked at me for a few moments before driving again in silence.

When we arrived at Arkhan we were greeted by some cops while an older man in a trench coat seemed to put the place in order.

"Commissioner Gordon" all the police officers looked at us as the older man greeted Batman.

"I'm glad to see that you arrived and with reinforcements" greeting me he continued talking as we began to enter the building "Thanks to your warning I brought the necessary officers to keep the place in control, only the less dangerous prisoners tried to escape but were contained."

Half listening to the conversation between Batman and the commissioner, I dedicated myself to analyzing the facility that contained, in my opinion, the most disturbing villains of all.

The further we entered the building I noticed how the security increased until the place reminded me a little of the watchtower.

"Well Omnaz, welcome to the highest security rooms" Surprised by the commissioner's voice, I noticed how we arrived at a large armored door which was opened thanks to the police officer.

Following them I noticed each of the cells which were occupied by different people, one was a blue-skinned man, a redhead laughed when he saw Batman, a small man with a big nose spat at us, I didn't know most of them, However, we arrived at some cells where a very familiar laugh could be heard.

"Batman, you're coming to visit me, HAHAHAHAHA!" Listening to that voice, I reached for Batman, finding the Joker completely tied to the wall of the cell, allowing him to see me. "But you brought an unwanted visitor." Annoyed, I looked at him but without saying anything.

"Let's continue, whoever you need is ahead" As we continued, Joker's laughter said goodbye to us.

Finally, we arrived at a cell where a somewhat striking song could be heard. The occupant turned out to be Harley Quinn, who, upon noticing us, remained silent while she ran towards the glass that separated her from us.

"Long Ears and Plant Boy! I'm glad to see you, you're here to help Ivy" The commissioner looked at Batman waiting for a signal that he received so he allowed the door to open.

"Stay calm, any attempt to escape and you will return to your cell" Harley half listened to Batman as she jumped at me taking me by surprise which barely allowed me to catch her as I stumbled.

"Yes, whatever you say, Long Ears, now come on, Plant Boy, let's help Pam!" Nervously I looked at Batman who just looked at the woman before turning so I followed him.

As we passed by the Joker's cell he just looked silently at Harley while I smiled very disturbingly while she ignored him.

A few minutes later we were in the Batmobile while Harley recounted her last encounter with Ivy two days before.

"Red told me that the plant life was acting strange, her children began to disobey her orders and even stopped listening to her sometimes." Preventing her from touching the car, she gave me a pout before continuing. "According to her, the plant energy was gathering in a swamp although I don't know which one."

"Computer searches for any abnormal signals in the swamps near the city," the computer flashed before answering.

"Analysis complete, unidentified energy gathering in the northeast part of the city" astonished Harley looked at the computer in astonishment.

"Now I understand how you win so easily!" looking at Batman I ignored Harley who was looking at the computer.

"Anything I should know about the swamps?" hitting the woman's hand Batman wrote something on the computer.

"Ivy is not the only one who has control over plants, in the swamps of the city there is a being that I have had an encounter with, he calls himself Swamp Thing" The computer showed what appeared to be a man although completely made of different types of plants.

"In essence, he is not hostile, although he takes care of plant life to a greater degree than Ivy, the simple fact of thinking that they can work together can create a global crisis" that bothered Harley.

"Hey, Red wouldn't help that thing!" Batman didn't answer her while I continued reviewing his data on this so-called Swamp Thing.

Minutes later as we arrived at the entrance to a swamp I looked askance at Harley who had been tied up and silenced by Batman.

"Shall we leave her here?" Harley moved with effort having heard my question, however, when she looked at Batman she noticed that he was not willing to say "I'm sorry but you better stay calm" She looked at me in disbelief before starting to scream into her gag.

Leaving the car I followed Batman who was already beginning to enter the swamp with a scanner in hand.

"The energy produced by Swamp Thing appears to have increased significantly since I last scanned it" That didn't sound right to us.

"If the plants stopped obeying Ivy, it means that something with a greater control over them has come forth, I understand how that could bother her but not for her to come to a swamp" Following Batman I began to notice how the plants around us began to grow in size.

In a few seconds, we reached a clearing that overlooked an immense swamp which Batman began to scan.

Knowing that at any moment we could be attacked I transformed which caught Batman's attention for a second.

"Interesting choice," moving my fingers, I responded.

"Diamondhead is the best option, I don't want to create a fire" Looking around I made a decision "I'll look for Ivy" Looking at Batman I noticed he looked at me before answering.

"Go ahead, I'll try to talk to Swamp Thing to find out what's going on, don't let your guard down." Accepting his advice, I left the clearing in search of Ivy.

Having Batman's information and knowing that he would upset Pamela if she found out, I decided to just move the plants away without cutting any.

After a few minutes of walking I began to hear the plants moving so I transformed my arms into clubs as a precaution, to be ready to save Harley's life who jumped on me, colliding with my chest forcefully while returning my arms to their normal shape.

"Harley, I won't even ask how you got out, however, you should never try to take me by surprise again." Listening to her laugh, I watched as she separated her face from my chest while holding my waist with her legs and holding the small diamonds that were beginning to grow on my chest.

"You're so tough, diamond boy!" Without stopping laughing, she began to climb me, sitting on my shoulders while she kicked, "Okay, let's go look for Red!" Releasing a small sigh, I continued walking without letting my guard down for any attack.

The path I had taken took us to another clearing, however, this one was different because, in the middle of the swamp, there was an immense tree where we found who we were looking for.

"Red!" Grabbing Harley's leg, I stopped her from jumping too far, causing her to yell, "Hey, let go of me!" Holding her, I pointed out to Swamp.

"Don't hurry, look" Following my hand I watched as almost invisibly several crocodiles moved throughout the swamp "I'll free her, stay here" Annoyed she gave me a pout while she crossed her arms.

Approaching the swamp I knelt touching the ground causing an immense diamond bridge to grow until I reached Pamela.

Crossing it I reached her noticing that she was unconscious and completely embedded inside the tree.

"I hope this doesn't bother you" Transforming my arm into a blade I prepared to cut until a deep voice stopped me.

"She won't be the only one who's annoyed, I suggest you stay away, you're made of diamonds, correct?" Turning my face slightly, I found Swamp Thing.

The images did not give him credit because in person he was even larger as well as more pronounced in the fact that he was made up of various plants that seemed to move slightly, his face, although human, lacked a nose and ears while he's piercing red eyes looked at me.

"Swamp Thing I guess, I don't want problems, I'm coming with Batman to take back Ivy and to find out what's happening with the plants in the city" Turning slightly I stood in front of him.

"Give me that plant, it belongs to Ivy!" disappearing the plant I speak.

"If you would hand them over!" Jumping, I changed both arms into blades to attack him, however in mid-air a gigantic root came out of the swamp, hitting me squarely, sending me towards where Harley was.

Staying on one knee I looked at Swamp Thing before creating a crystal sword and separating it from my arm.

"Harley, take the sword, free Pamela while I entertain that thing" Holding the weapon I gave her she laughed loudly.

"Sure diamond boy, I'll free Pam!" A second later she ran towards the glass bridge, drawing the attention of Swamp Thing who sent several roots after her which I intercepted with my crystals, causing him to look at me.

"You should worry about me!" In a thought I made a large number of diamonds appear that filled the clearing, taking away ground from the plants.

"I understand the situation, however, my colleagues are dealing with the crisis, I don't think it is necessary for Gotham to be buried in plants" In front of Batman was Swamp Thing, only larger in size.

"Your companion, the crystal being, was furious when I decided not to give him the green agent known as Pamela Isley as well as this plant" showing him the Ivy plant and Batman understood the annoyance of his companion.

Without saying anything, I took out my gun so I could leave the clearing quickly because I had to stop the battle.

A few seconds later, when Batman arrived at the battlefield, he found an immense amount of diamonds filling the clearing as well as plants trying to destroy them. Harley was held by roots next to an unconscious Ivy, who had half her body loose from her prison.

As for Diamondhead and Swamp Thing, he found them exchanging blows, while Diamond cut everything in his path with his sword-shaped arms, Swamp Thing attacked with his immense arms that barely moved the heavy diamond being.

"Diamondhead you must stop!" Omnaz barely heard him as he fought.

"Batman, this thing doesn't understand that we can stop those beings called the Ancients, he is hell-bent on using Pamela's vitality and her flower for his stupid plan!" In a moment of carelessness, Diamante was caught by Swamp Thing who held him by the neck with his immense hands, ignoring the cuts he continues to cause.

"Swamp Thing, let go!" Harley's insults joined Batman's voice as the plant began to crack Diamante with small roots.

"DNA DETECTED, INTERFERENCE WITH THE OMNITRIX MATRIX" After the clock's voice sounded, an explosion of electricity separated both beings, causing Swamp Thing to lose his physical form for a moment while Diamante was thrown towards some trees.

"Hey, Bat-fool free me!" Without looking at the villain, Batman throws a Batarang that frees her while he runs towards where Diamante was thrown.

When he reached the entrance to the road he heard Swamp Thing regenerate while he spoke.

"Although powerful, the crystal being will not be able to stop me from saving the world" Looking at him Batman was about to respond when a green flash made him look towards where Diamond had been sent.

"Woman, you must stop your attempt to free the agent," waiting for a root to stop her again. Swamp Thing was surprised to notice that what he wanted was not happening.

Moving his arm he managed to get a root to stand up to stop Harley, however it stopped almost when he reached the villain which confused him until he heard a voice.

"Now I understand that I would never have been able to win in my Diamond form, we are on your land, well now it is mine too" Emerging from the trees was a green humanoid with a well-known symbol on its stomach.

The being was dark green, on his shoulders and forearms three small flames stood out, his hands showed orange fingers which seemed to have a hole in the middle of the palm.

His knees and feet showed thorns while his flame-shaped head showed three colors of red, yellow, and orange while his green eyes looked at Swamp Thing.

"You...formed a connection with the green...but a very deep one, what are you?" Batman could almost guarantee that Swamp Thing looked baffled.

"I... well, I would say that I am Swamp Fire" Without saying anything else, the new form of Omnaz pointed his palms at Swamp Thing, firing two powerful bursts of fire that hit the being squarely, causing him to scream in pain.

As he continued attacking Omnaz noticed how Batman came to his side to cover his nose a moment later.

"I'm sorry, it's the methane I produce, you must free Pamela, he doesn't plan to listen to us anymore, I'm looking for the plant to take it away from him" Batman looked at him while a mask covered his mouth and nose.

"I know that Swamp Thing is difficult to reason with but you were quick," having scolded me, I shot him hook towards where Harley was defending herself from the roots that were trying to stop her.

An immense root tried to attack me so I stopped my attack on Swamp Thing while stopping the attack with my arms.

"Your connection...disrupts mine, how is this possible?" Looking at Swamp Thing I responded.

"Even deep inside you, you are still human, but I am a plant that evolved." Smiling, I put my hand on the ground because I had what I was looking for. "And now I have my son." From the ground, a root handed me the plant.

"Father, you came for us!" Smiling, I looked at the small plant because it seemed like it could recognize me while its intelligence had increased.

"You don't understand, with your connection to green you must feel the damage that the earth can suffer" moving he attacked me while I hid the plant inside my body.

"There are more ways to solve the crisis" Stopping the blows I flung him away with two streams of fire that sent him into the swamp.

While Swamp Thing was recovering Batman and Harley came to me with Pamela still unconscious.

"Hey green boy, red isn't waking up!" Looking at Swamp Thing I stopped him again with fire while I looked at Ivy for a moment.

"He has her asleep with a powerful pollen, I can wake her up but I need-" An immense earthquake stopped me while the connection with the green let me know exactly what had happened.

"We were right, our companions stopped the Ancients." Looking at Swamp Thing, I was not surprised to see him calm inside his swamp while listening to the green.

"The danger is gone, the agent and the plant are not necessary for the moment, but we will see each other again," without saying anything else Swamp Thing turned to disappear slowly.

"And our green boy won!" Seeing that Swamp Thing had disappeared I looked at a happy Harley while Batman carried Ivy.

Walking towards them I for asked the unconscious villainess who was handed over while I closed my eyes, creating what was necessary to wake up Ivy.

In seconds I completed my task so I grabbed her face, kissing her, causing Harley to scream with excitement.

Opening Pamela's mouth with my tongue, I introduced a substance into her body that was absorbed in moments, making her wake up during my kiss.

My form surprised her, I didn't hesitate to walk away while she screamed furiously.

"How dare you kiss me!" Using her powers she guided a root of hers to attack me which I stopped in the air surprising her, however before she could continue with her attack a happy Harley caught her attention.

"Red, I'm glad to see you awake!" Taking Pamela by surprise, she grabbed her face and kissed her, a kiss that she returned. "Your green boy stopped that swamp thing and woke you up!" separating from Pamela, she pointed at me, causing her to notice the symbol on my stomach.

"Max?" Smiling I noticed how she admired my new form which was more similar to her than Wildvine "...What happened to me?" Holding her head, she seemed to remember everything that had happened. "Our plant, that thing stole my-!" Interrupting her, I put my hand into my body, taking out our plant, and handing it to her.

"Mother, Father came and saved us!" taking to the plant Pamela smiled as she got lost in conversation with her while Harley joined in.

"Are you completely sure that the situation with the others has been resolved?" Looking at Batman I responded.

"Yes, they closed the portals destroying the invaders" Looking at the two women I decided to ask them "Will they return to Arkhan with you?" Batman looked at them before answering me.

"….Harley was arrested for the chaos she caused to save Ivy, while Ivy has been reforming the city's plants without causing problems" Without saying anything else he turned around and began to walk away.

Walking towards the women I noticed that they saw me because they finished their talk.

"I must say that your new appearance is very striking" Harley laughed at Ivy's words while I smiled slightly.

"Thank you, now ladies I must return to Gotham to fix what Swamp Thing caused, Batman is not planning to arrest you however I would advise you to keep a low profile for a while, can you do that?" I said the last thing looking at Harley who just whistled innocently.

"We'll stay hidden for a while, don't worry." Walking towards me, Pamela forced me to lower my head as she continued. "Remember, don't hurt my babies." Kissing me softly, she let me go, smiling as the small plant in her hand said goodbye to me.

"I know Pamela, take care of yourselves" Caressing the plant I left them alone while I walked towards the Batmobile.

Superman was standing in the middle of a small storm while he waited with his eyes closed and arms crossed, a second later he easily dodged a blow to his jaw while holding onto his attacker to begin spinning quickly.

After a few seconds, he stopped while sending someone flying, his movement had stopped the storm so a very familiar voice could be heard easily.

"I thought you said you wouldn't use your full speed" Looking at someone walking towards him a small smile appeared on his face.

"That's what I said and it's true, I'm a little faster than when I was your age" a sigh was heard as the owner of said sound reached him.

The owner was a boy between sixteen and eighteen years old, very similar to him in the face. His clothing consisted of a black suit with green stripes on the forearms and legs.

In the middle of the suit was a very familiar symbol in the shape of his own shield.

"Now I understand why Flash always boasts of being faster than you, it's a great achievement," laughing lightly, Superman walked towards me while he brushed some snow off my suit.

"Don't worry, your Kryptonian form is young, you still have a lot of power to gain and above all a lot of control" I looked at him a little annoyed before smiling because I knew he was right "Tell me, have you thought of a name for this form?" I thought about it for a second to answer him. However, before doing so I stopped because I had caught a visitor.

"Someone is approaching" Looking into the distance I used my enhanced vision to see who was approaching "She is a blonde girl... she is wearing a suit very similar to yours" Smiling Superman did not answer me.

The girl arrived in seconds to land slowly causing her small cape to move which caught my attention.

"Kal, Ma, and Pa told me I'd meet you here!" Laughing, the girl ran towards Superman who hugged her, laughing lightly before introducing me.

"I'm helping Omnaz, a friend from the League, Omnaz, this is Supergirl, my cousin from Krypton." Before I could say anything, the girl appeared in front of me, taking my face, very surprised.

"I can't believe you're just like Kal when he was younger!" Puzzled, I looked at Superman, who amusedly stopped his cousin.

"Calm down Supergirl," gently taking his cousin away from me before continuing "Do you remember that he can transform into different species? One is the Kryptonian" That surprised the girl which allowed me to speak.

"Superman is right, I can transform into a Kryptonian... or more specifically into a version of him although we are not the same" That seemed to confuse her so I tried to make it simple "I have his DNA and I use it" that she seemed to understand.

"And tell me, do you have a name in that form? As I remember from the news, your other forms have names!" smiling I responded.

"Superman asked me the same thing, and I don't even have a name for this form" Looking at me she seemed to think something before seeing Superman.

"Why don't we let him use the name El, can he add something first? Is this a good idea Kal?" smiling, Superman responded very happily.

"I think it's a great idea" Looking at me he explained "My Kryptonian name is Kal-El, you can change the Kal for something more personal, by having my DNA you are a member of the house of El" completely flattered I thanked him.

"I'm flattered, Superman, I'll be happy to accept your offer." Thinking for a few seconds, I decided on the full name. "I'll take the name Ma-El, if you like." Supergirl was the most excited to respond.

"YES, there are three of us, welcome to the family!" With surprising strength she hugged me so I returned the gesture.

"Although I'm glad to have you here I thought you'd be busy Supergirl" his cousin looked at him before making a decision.

"Call me by my name in front of him, he's family, and as for being busy...Barbara had a last-minute commitment in Gotham" Superman seemed to understand.

"Well, since you're free, how about helping me with his training Kara, in power levels you should be more even" that excited Kara.

"Come on, we've caught a lot of villains!" Annoyed Lantern replied.

"Some of us are lucky, and we haven't always been victorious" Diana was the next to speak.

"What do you suggest?" None of us liked the answer.

"Practice" While listening to how everyone accepted it, I transformed, drawing everyone's attention as they saw XLR8.

"My city is small but the criminals are gaining confidence, I agree that the training is needed, but don't count on me" That seemed to bother Lantern.

"Boy, we all gotta-!" Interrupting him I approached him.

A few minutes later Batman gave the signal, so Lantern broke down a door while I transformed into Diamond.

A red guy attacked with a Lantern-like ring as Hawkwoman and Wonder Woman flew towards a giant woman.

For my part, I focused on an old acquaintance.

"Carl Creel, I see you have new friends" The villain did not answer me as he played with a metal pipe.

Since everyone had chosen an opponent, I did not hesitate to run towards him while he did the same, having the ability to transform our hands, we both created swords that collided forcefully.

"This time you will fall freak!" Without responding, I continued to repel his attacks as we moved around the place.

With each blow our weapons changed, colliding, somehow Creel's strength was equal to mine, which had not happened before.

"You learned new things, Creel, however, I also know more" Kicking him away I created several diamonds that took him further away from me, I was preparing to attack him again when the shout of the others distracted me for a second.

Seeing that Lantern needed help, I fired a few projectiles at his enemy, drawing his attention so he dedicated himself to defending himself from my attacks.

Hearing a scream I noticed how Hawk Woman was knocked down so using one hand I protected her with a diamond shield which was a mistake.

"Hey, freak!" Creed fired lightning that hit me squarely in the face, destroying half of my face. Surprised by the blow, I couldn't defend myself from the following blows that destroyed my arm and half of my abdomen. "I told you that you would fall." !" His last blow sent me against a container, burying me in it.

A few minutes later I heard the voices of the others calling me so I slowly left the rubble, alarming them when they saw me in bad condition.

"Max, by the gods!" Listening to Diana, I looked up at everyone's alarmed faces as they looked at my body.

"It's...fine" Without half a mouth I couldn't calm them down so I concentrated while I felt how my body was slowly regenerating calming them down "I'm fine."

"We were eight against seven, we had the advantage!" listening to Lantern everyone began to blame each other while J'onn helped me up.

When everyone heard Superman say that he had thought about fighting alone they all decided to get more upset until J'onn silenced them.

"Stop right now!" everyone looked at J'onn as he slowly let go of me worried about my tiredness.

"I came to you, without knowing anyone and you accepted me, you became my new family, but what good is a family if it harms us as individuals" Those words made me understand what J'onn was going for so I returned to my human form.

"What? What are you saying?" looking at Flash he continued.

"I say I survived the loss of one family and I will survive the loss of another" Turning around he squeezed my shoulder before leaving, leaving the others surprised.

Watching J'onn leave I just let out a sigh before looking at the others.

"I'm supposed to be the youngest of all, however, I wonder who is the most mature, Jump City needs me, however, I will be there for the world" Transforming into XLR8 I looked at them for a moment before closing my visor and leaving the place knowing that maybe it was the end of the team.

The next day, when I arrived at night in Jump City, a call from the police alerted me to Creed's presence at a construction site in the city, so I was alerted about a possible trap and arrived on my motorcycle.

Going down, keeping my guard up, I saved myself from the yellow lightning bolt that made my motorcycle explode as it was thrown into the air.

"I will admit that among all the members you are the most dangerous my young friend" Rolling on the ground I covered myself behind some beams while listening to Grodd.

"You're kidding, the most dangerous one is Superman!" Without waiting any longer I chose someone strong enough to take on all the villains.

"My dear Parasite, what makes him more dangerous is-" A green flash caught everyone's attention as a large figure stood in front of them, putting them on alert. "That unpredictability of his."

"You're right about that, Grodd." In front of all the villains was Vilgax who looked at them with his piercing red eyes.

"All that power is mine!" Before the gorilla could stop him, Parasite flew quickly towards me so I knew he had the strength of Superman.

In a jump I intercepted him, surprising them all while my arm came down with all my power, burying the villain in the ground, creating large fissures.

"Someone else wants to try me," taking the almost unconscious Parasite and throwing him at them like it was nothing.

"Attack quickly and accurately" The Lantern lookalike was the next to attack me followed by the ice woman.

Covering my face with my arms, I received the attacks, barely skidding a few centimeters. When they stopped seconds later, I discovered myself to be received by a giant hand that hit me hard.

"It's not that strong- AHHHHH!" Everyone saw how the great villain removed her hand, showing it with a burn while I stood up without damage.

"I can say the same about you" My eyes flashed before two bolts of lightning shot at the ice woman sending her flying with a scream.

Some heavy steps made me turn around, finding Creed who was running towards me in metal form, letting him get closer I allowed him to attack, demonstrating my resistance while his arms deformed without leaving me any damage.

I quickly kicked him, sending him flying into a building which ended up falling on top of him while I saw Grodd who was protected by Sombra, Clayface, and the very nervous yellow lantern.

"We're leaving, we don't have a chance at the moment" Taking a step they momentarily stopped allowing everyone to escape leaving Creed under the construction so I started to take him out.

Creed was completely unconscious and very injured so I couldn't get any information out of him about Grodd's plans so I let the police take him away.

"Omnaz to anyone in the league, do you receive me?" My attempts to find them were not successful so I stopped trying.

Hours later I was in the Watchtower looking for the other members without achieving anything until the news of several villains interrupting a concert appeared on the Metropolis news.

"There they are" Leaving everything I ran towards the landing platform while transforming into Chromastone knowing that I had to hurry to get there.

Arriving at the stadium I witnessed the moment when Clayface proved to be J'onn, freeing the others while he landed next to them.

"I'm glad to see you well" Returning to my human form I looked at the villains ready for battle.

"Grodd is controlling their minds!" Looking at the gorilla I asked myself how he had gotten that power.

"And how do we combat that?" Lantern only had one answer for Flash.

"Planning to resist?" Grodd very calmly spoke.

"This is not exactly the spectacle I had imagined, but in some ways, it will be even better" Looking at his companions he continued "Don't forget" Watching the woman grow again I lightly touched the Omnitrix ready to change.

Hawk Woman was the first to move to be followed by the villains so I transformed into Heatblast choosing the ice woman as my target.

While the lanterns clashed, Flash attacked Clayface, Wonder Woman attacked Grodd followed by J'onn who attacked Shadow.

For my part, I pointed my arms at the ice woman, causing her to defend herself, unfortunately for her my power was superior.

"Surrender ice girl" The small holes that were on my shoulders created two stronger flames as my power increased.

"My name is Killer Frost!" I could feel her attack growing, however my strength only grew, surpassing it. Hearing a scream, I saw how Grodd tormented J'onn with his powers, so I decided to finish her off.

"Enough!" Increasing my power, the streams of fire grew, surpassing the villain's attack, hitting her squarely, causing her to scream while she was sent flying against the ground completely unconscious.

"J'onn, down!" Having heard me, he disappeared into the ground, giving me a free shot towards Grodd, causing the gorilla to fly several meters screaming.

"Thank you," appearing next to J'onn, he smiled slightly at me, a smile that was returned before returning to the battle.

Watching Lantern defend himself from a yellow energy beam, I attacked the creation's owner with a fireball drawing his attention enough so Lantern could turn the fight around.

Watching the other fights I saw how Hawkwoman defended herself against Grodd, Wonder Woman made the Parasite spin with her rope, and Superman defended himself against the giant woman.

A moment later, having defeated the Parasite, Wonder Woman helped Superman by knocking out the woman, with only Grodd, Shadow, and Clayface being the only conscious villains.

Looking for Clayface I found him trying to ambush Batman so I attacked him causing him to recognize me with a scream.

"You're the phenomenon from years ago," smiling, I increased my attack, causing him to begin to lose consistency while he tried to cut me with an ax-shaped tentacle.

His attack stopped a few meters away because his body could no longer maintain its shape, remaining like a puddle of mud on the ground.

[T/N: Wouldn't heat have dried him up rather than liquify him, especially if he's already a liquid base.]

Hearing a scream I saw how Grodd was sent flying by Superman with a single touch of his finger, ending all the villains because it seemed that Batman had easily defeated Shadow.

Walking towards the others I heard Flash scream.

"The league is back!" Superman just ignored his hand as he lowered it, "Or not?"

"We have said many things to each other" listening to Wonder Woman try to give a reason.

"Yes but that was mind control, it wasn't true" walking behind me J'onn spoke.

"Every word was" Everyone looked at each other not knowing what to say while I returned to my human form.

"We are all human or at least the majority" Everyone looked at me "It is human nature to hurt those we love, the only thing we can do is apologize and try to continue working as a team, not for us, but for them" ending, I pointed to all the people in the stadium cheering us on.

"The youngest, but the most mature" Batman's comment made me smile while everyone else seemed to relax a little.

"Omnaz is right, we must try to continue for the safety of the world, we will not forget but we can try to improve our relationships" Superman smiled as he looked at me.

"That's what families do" J'onn squeezed my shoulder happily while the others accepted our words to begin to leave while we said goodbye to the spectators.

The next dawn...

Having decided to take my time returning home after saying goodbye to the others, I found myself touching the island when the sun was beginning to shine on the city so I decided it was time to rest for a while.

Entering my home I went straight to the small kitchen to drink some water, when I left the glass on the table it was at the exact moment I noticed a fist heading towards my face, barely managing to avoid it as I stumbled.

"What the hell?!" My attacker did not give me the opportunity to transform, kicking me in the abdomen, which sent me flying a few meters in great pain. "...T-That felt...like metal." A second later a hand held me by the neck, lifting me up.

Having an opportunity I attacked his face with my right fist, however as soon as I touched his face my body was filled with pain while my wrist broke because it seemed like I had hit more metal.

"W-Who are you?" The attacker didn't speak, he just moved his free hand towards my abdomen and a second later I felt more pain so I looked down seeing how his arm was entering my body causing me to spit out a little blood.

Without thinking, he pulled out his arm, letting me see how his hand had taken the shape of a blade before he attacked my shoulder, piercing it, which made me scream.

"AHHHHH" Full of pain I tried to use the voice command of the Omnitrix "Four Ar-" A headbutt from him silenced me as my head buzzed from the blow while I felt the blood running down my forehead.

Almost unconscious, I watched as he touched his ear before speaking.

"Target neutralized, waiting for orders" someone responded so he looked at me "Orders received, carried out immediately" Taking me with both hands he threw me against the wall which gave way due to the blow while I felt my back hurt.

The last thing I saw before I lost consciousness from the pain was a pair of boots calmly approaching me.
