The Pits Of Hell

After a fantastic night's sleep, I slowly stretched under the large pile of furs, feeling every sore muscle slowly loosening.

Letting out a yawn, I sat up, tilting my head from side to side to gently stretch my neck.

This was absolutely amazing. Nothing beats a slow wake-up with no one yelling or demanding something from me to make sure that my head was on straight and my mind ready to tackle the day before I even stepped out of bed.

"Good rising, Nan'teal," came the AI voice overhead.

I paused in my stretches for a moment before I answered him. "Please call me Ariel," I said hesitantly, not sure if this was a good way to get me kicked out of the castle.

"Of course, Ariel. Whatever you want. Did you have a good sleep?" continued the AI, and I relaxed a bit. Scurrying back so that I was resting against the massive, cushioned headboard, I let out another yawn.
