Tea Time on Naboo

While the Jedi were picking themselves up, Master Yaddle and I were sipping tea on the hill. A droid from my ship had set out two chairs and a snack table for us.

Yes, I did take off my bio-helmet. When I took it off, Yaddle laughed and said with a serene face, "You are one ugly motherfucker..."

I laugh back, "Oh, I have heard that many times Master Yaddle. I did not expect such a venerated Jedi Master to use such language though."

"As you said, I am a venerated Jedi Master, not a saint. There are no rules about talking roughly, hehe.", she answered.

I get to the pressing topic, "Why have you come to meet me Master Yaddle?"

Without a change in her expression, "Because you are resembling our forefathers more and more."

I understand the reference, "You mean the Je'daii, the first organized order of Force Users of a galactic scale. Gathered by mysterious ships and trained according to celestial bodies. Where the masters used the Light and the Dark in balance."

Yaddle nods, "Yes, them. I saw through your records. You started rough on Cerea. Then the massacre that made you a legendary bounty hunter. The Umbaran incident. You gradually changed though. A subtle one most wouldn't notice. Watching you fight the Jedi young Windu led, only confirmed what I was feeling. You've attained a balance in the Force. You understand life more now, but have no qualms in taking it. As long as it is done according to a code. Your own code, and if it doesn't go against the flow of the Force."

"True to it all Master Yaddle. Life can be taken as long as it is taken correctly. What makes it correct is just feeling out the Force and acting on what you sense. Even the Dark Side has a flow. Dogma such as the Sith ways say that using the Dark Side is pure brute control for the most part. What the Sith never realized is that control is an illusion. It is why they always degenerate biologically and mentally. As they delude themselves. Killing in accordance to the flow of the Dark Side will not result in such degeneration. Same thing with the Light Side. Using it to kill against its grain will result in the clouding of the sense. Which is one of the reasons, your order has become so blind.", I say.

Yaddle goes on, "Yes...another reason I wanted to meet you. What do you see Predator? As you are not blinded as we are."

I say solemnly, "I see balance. The Force will bring itself into balance. As is natural. How that balance will be achieved remains to be seen."

I was tempted to tell her the full "sight", but I refrained.

As I felt telling her will only have negative consequences. To change the flow of destiny and fate, I can only do so safely during certain times. that time isn't now.

I change the subject, "What will happen once we finish our tea time? Will I have to go back to dealing with Master Windu?"

Yaddle grins, "No Predator, he will return with me. Although I must ask that you refrain from killing Jedi from now on. The Order will leave you be from on if you do that."

I question, "What about my so-called crimes?"

She shrugs, "Millions of people are bounty hunters. They are no matter. Although I will admit that Kid Adi-Mundi may not be silent or still on this matter."

I scoff, "Then Mundi will have to steel himself if choses to cross my path with an ignited lightsaber. However, I will refrain from killing Jedi. Only if they don't have intent to kill me though."

Yaddle sighs, "Then that will just be how the cookie crumbles. On the other hand, I have a commission for you."

I get interested, "Oh?"

"I want you to go to Dromund Kaas. A member of the Order left. However, they went to Dromund Kaas. We sent two knights to discern if he got corrupted into a Dark Jedi or not. The knights never returned. The mission is to find them, and get them back to the Order alive. If they are dead, retrieve the bodies. If the one that left the Order is there, and has truly fallen. Kill them.", she explained the mission to me.

I put my bio-helmet back on, "I'll take the mission, you can pay through the normal Hunter Guild channel."

She smiles, "Thank you for taking on this mission. You will be fairly paid. Thanks for the tea."

With this, we parted ways.

Master Yaddle left with Master Windu and his funny excuse for Jedi warriors. I left Naboo. Although I wanted to explore the aquatic caves and see the water monsters, I have a mission.
