On the battlefield, two figures moved so fast that they left only after hours. They crashed into each other repeatedly, sending waves of pressure that forced surrounding ninjas to brace themselves.
One figure was enveloped in a dark red aura, exuding a foreboding, immense presence. The other, much smaller, was outlined in armour, streaking across the plains with flashes of blue lightning.
Red versus blue! A battle between a steam locomotive and a maglev train!
The former was loud and dramatic, accompanied by steam effects with every move. The latter was much more stable, zipping through like a bullet.
An unfortunate Stone Shinobi found himself in their path, unable to dodge in time. With a sickening smack, he was obliterated, half his body turning into a bloody mist.
Minato watched, slightly surprised. Satoru's speed had surpassed the limits of ordinary ninjas. Even without his Flying Thunder God marks, Minato wasn't sure he could keep up with Satoru. Known as one of the fastest in the ninja world, Minato silently scratched off the name he had in mind. It wasn't grand enough, nor long enough.
Suddenly, the two figures stopped. Han staggered, dropping to one knee, his red armour shattering to reveal sweat-soaked clothing beneath.
"To think, in taijutsu... I would lose to you..." Han looked up at Satoru with trembling eyes, filled with shock. Since his rise to fame, he had never gone all out using the Five-Tails' chakra. The Five-Tails, one of the fastest among the nine-tailed beasts, couldn't outmatch Satoru even with its chakra enhancement. Terrifying!
Speed comes with a price. The faster the speed, the greater the strain on muscles and bones. Despite his superior physique, using the Five-Tails' chakra unreservedly caused muscle damage, leaving him unable to stand without intense pain. In contrast, looking down at Han from above, Satoru seemed hardly affected.
As the armour dissolved, Satoru took a deep breath, using electromagnetic force to evaporate sweat. He glanced at Han, half-kneeling on the ground. This level of electromagnetic propulsion was risky. If it were purely about speed, he could go even faster, but his body struggled to handle it. Fortunately, his body had undergone three electromagnetic power upgrades, far surpassing ordinary ninjas. Chakra coated his body, buffering some of the recoil. Only minor strains in his thighs and waist were left, not affecting him much.
Han took a deep breath, staring at Satoru, speaking solemnly. "Among the ninjas I've fought, none surpass you in speed! As the Five-Tails Jinchuriki, Han, I am willing to—"
"Hold it!" Satoru cut him off unceremoniously, rolling his eyes and trying to imitate Madara? Are you even qualified?
Han's carefully crafted dramatic moment was interrupted, and even his usually calm demeanour showed a hint of anger. "In that case... let's create some chaos!"
His body could no longer endure high-intensity combat. Han finally made up his mind, completely relinquishing control over the Five-Tails' consciousness. An immense, ominous chakra surged from him. The dark red chakra solidified into a pure white form, his human-like shape morphing into that of a tailed beast. Accompanied by a piercing roar, the fully transformed Five-Tails Kokuo appeared!
"A tailed beast! Are the Stone Shinobi using a tailed beast?" "Damn it! Fall back! Don't get within its attack range!" "Five-Tails Kokuo... a speed and steam user... this is bad..."
Jiraiya's eyelids twitched, his expression darkening. The Five-Tails' steam and speed were terrifying on the battlefield, capable of causing massive casualties. Although Han had appeared in previous battles, he had never fully transformed into the tailed beast. Clearly, Satoru had pushed him to his limit.
"Minato! You're the fastest. Go support Satoru. Ensure he's safe." "Yes, Jiraiya-sensei!"
On the other side, Kitsuchi noticed the transformation, biting his lip. "Damn it! Han promised Father he'd handle Satoru. Why did he unleash the Five-Tails?" The Jinchuriki and the tailed beast were not the same. While Han was an exceptional Jinchuriki, using the Five-Tails' chakra mode was his limit. In full-tailed beast mode, Kokuo's consciousness dominated. Imprisoned for so long, Kokuo was undoubtedly enraged and wouldn't care if its enemies were Konoha or Iwa ninjas. That position would inevitably cause heavy casualties among the Stone Shinobi.
Kitsuchi took a deep breath, calming down. He noticed Minato rushing toward Satoru. "Stop him!" he ordered grimly. He could only hope the enraged Five-Tails would deal with Satoru. A living Satoru was as valuable as five divisions of Stone Shinobi!
...
Satoru watched the Five-Tails with curiosity. Its appearance was like a white horse, with five whitetails swaying, white steam puffing from its nostrils with each breath. Its white hooves pawed the ground restlessly. It was said that Kokuo was based on a horse kept by the Zhou dynasty king Mu in ancient China. It certainly looked ethereal compared to the One-Tail's toad-like form.
"Human, you have angered me." A voice like that of a mature woman echoed. Kokuo looked down at Satoru, its immense size making him seem like an ant. "Die, you insignificant ant!"
With a powerful kick, Kokuo's front hooves aimed to crush Satoru. Using electromagnetic propulsion, Satoru narrowly dodged the massive hoof. In complete form, Kokuo's speed and power far exceeded that of Han using its chakra.
"Is being big that impressive?" Satoru felt a twinge of anger. He had experience dealing with tailed beasts and like with Shukaku, summoning artillery and firing electromagnetic cannons to make the beast kneel. However, he didn't have time to set that up now and wasn't keen on using that method again. Chakra surged into the ground, and within a radius of several kilometres, countless metal particles were decomposed and gathered, forming a tide of metal that converged beneath Satoru's feet.
A massive shadow loomed. The ninjas on the battlefield stared up in stunned silence.
"It's... huge..."
A gigantic metal Gundam, resembling the Jaeger Gypsy Danger from Pacific Rim, looked down at the comparatively smaller Kokuo. Satoru's cold voice echoed through the Gundam's body, reaching the dumbfounded Five-Tails.
"Little one, are you lost?"
