The next morning when Wen Wan woke up, the man was gone again!
Glancing at the messy sheets, Wen Wan shoved her hands into her hair and scratched vigorously, almost wishing she could scratch off a layer of skin.
Her phone suddenly rang, Wen Wan heaved a heavy sigh, then rolled out of bed. She dug her phone out of her bag, checked the time, and it was 8:30 AM. Yikes, late again! What about the alarm? Why didn't it go off?
"Wanwan, where did you die off to last night? Why didn't you answer your phone? Do you know I almost called the police?" As soon as she answered the call, Zhou Tiantian's voice crackled through.
"I heard you, no need to shout," Wen Wan frowned, talking on the phone as she walked into the bathroom.
"Confess leniently, resist strictly. Spill it, where did you go fooling around?" Zhou Tiantian relentlessly pressed.
"Where else could I have gone? Carried off by a jerk to a hotel room," Wen Wan was fuming at the thought of the man.
