The Grand Line, White Earth Island!
"Is that so? I really admire your courage, Shiro. The Revolutionary Army will try its best to cooperate with your actions!"
After the banquet ended, Shiro and Monkey D. Dragon had a secret dialogue as the leaders of their respective forces. Shiro was planning a campaign to disrupt the World Military Conscription, and secrecy was crucial.
If the World Government or the Navy Headquarters got wind of his plan, the situation would be far more complicated. They would undoubtedly set up a trap for him.
As of now, the only person aware of his intentions, apart from the few on Hawk Eyes Island, was Dragon. Hawk Eyes wouldn't leak any information, and Shiro had been careful not to divulge specifics.
Dragon, as the leader of the Revolutionary Army and the world's most wanted criminal, was equally stunned by Shiro's audacity. After all, Shiro was already the most hated by the World Government and Navy Headquarters—his every move watched.
Moreover, Shiro had previously destroyed the Marineford during the War, causing both the World Government and Navy Headquarters to lose face. Yet, even after such a bold move, he planned to sabotage the World Conscription.
The sheer boldness of it left Dragon impressed. As a man of the same generation as his son, Luffy, Shiro possessed the kind of courage that could challenge the world's order.
Dragon felt that Shiro might indeed hold the key to overthrowing the Celestial Dragons' rule.
"By the way, Shiro, according to the latest information I have, the battle for the Fleet Admiral position has already begun in Punk Hazard in the New World."
"The contenders are Akainu Sakazuki and Aokiji Kuzan. The Navy is now divided in their support for these two Admirals. Whoever wins will become the new Fleet Admiral of the Navy."
"Additionally, the outcome of this battle will determine the future direction of Naval justice."
As an ally, Dragon didn't hold back on sharing the crucial information that Shiro needed.
"So, the battle for the Fleet Admiral has started? I should accelerate my plans. If I'm correct, the Navy Headquarters has already begun preparations for the World Conscription."
Upon hearing that the battle for the Fleet Admiral position had commenced, Shiro nodded thoughtfully. Although he had anticipated the timing of the battle between Akainu and Aokiji, he hadn't been entirely certain.
This uncertainty underscored the gaps in his current intelligence network.
Although Shiro had already instructed to build a new intelligence system, there was still much work to be done. If necessary, he could always invest in buying some newspapers with a large enough reach.
After all, the world of pirates was full of cunning forces, and even the World Government valued the intelligence network controlled by the news mogul, Morgans.
Shiro's conversation with Dragon didn't last long. Knowing that the battle for the Fleet Admiral had begun, Shiro couldn't afford to waste time. He needed to recruit as many strong allies as possible before the World Conscription took full effect.
Having found Robin, it was time to move on to the next target.
High above the island, towards the moon!
"What? Sky Island? Mr. Shiro, although Robin can prove that Sky Island exists, it's located far from the sea routes that can take you there."
Upon learning of Shiro's intention to go to Sky Island, Sabo and the others were quick to warn him. White Earth Island was in a remote location, and the surrounding seas were not conducive to reaching Sky Island.
It was still far from the route that Robin had mentioned, and they would pass numerous Marine bases along the way. Any interception would complicate matters significantly.
Although Robin acknowledged the difficulties, she was determined to accompany Shiro wherever he went.
"Hahaha, don't worry, I have my own way!" Shiro responded confidently to Sabo's concerns.
He didn't need to go through the conventional means to reach Sky Island. Thanks to a spacecraft he had acquired through the system, he could travel to the moon, let alone Sky Island!
However, Shiro opted not to reveal his spacecraft in front of the Revolutionary Army; it was a technology far beyond what the Pirate World had ever seen.
After resting briefly, Shiro and Robin prepared to depart, with Sabo seeing them off to the open sea.
"Mr. Shiro, you knew Ace and Luffy well, right? After the war, are the two of them alright?" Sabo finally asked, unable to hold back any longer.
Since regaining his memories, he had constantly worried about his brothers. There had been little news of Ace and Luffy since the Summit War, and Sabo had not been able to contact them.
"Don't worry, those two are alive and well. Ace lost an arm, but he's grown stronger. As for Luffy, he's training with Silvers Rayleigh, the Dark King."
Shiro replied earnestly. "However, neither of them knows you're alive yet."
"Got it. Thank you, Mr. Shiro. I hope that one day, we can overthrow the tyrannical rule of the World Government together!" Sabo nodded, bidding Shiro farewell.
Soon, Shiro and Robin boarded the submarine, diving deep into the sea. As the submarine launched, Robin's face filled with astonishment. The speed was incredible, so fast that she could barely stand.
"Robin, are you okay?" Shiro asked, stepping over to support her as the submarine accelerated.
"I'm fine!" Robin reassured him with a gentle smile, though her cheeks flushed slightly at his touch. Shiro was just as dependable as he had been in the past, though now with an even stronger presence.
"Shiro, are we really heading to Sky Island? My friends and I visited once, and the thunder-wielding guy there was terrifying!"
"We're not stopping at Sky Island; we're heading to the moon!"
