The next day, I didn't expect to see Brianna in our classroom when I walked in. She gave me a nasty look, but I just ignored her.

During our break time, she wouldn't leave Alzid's side. Fine, it's not like I'm trying to steal her fiancé. I ended up eating alone on the rooftop, reminiscing about the silly things Alzid and I used to do there. Did I miss him? Maybe. He's been a good friend, so maybe that's why there's this sadness in my heart now that we're not hanging out.

Days passed, and Brianna acted like she was guarding him. I couldn't even get close to him.

One day, there was a school fest, and everyone was busy, including our section. We had a role play, though I only had a minor role. Of course, Brianna was the lead actress, and Alzid was her leading man. We were backstage, and everyone seemed nervous. Brianna was getting her makeup done, and Alzid was seated, memorizing his lines. I watched him from a distance when one of our classmates approached me.
