Mu Bai was ecstatic after his second chance and especially when he heard the servants speak that they went to Mu Ningxue's room to pick up the Magic tool, so much so that he told Zhao Kunsan the whole thing and reminded him to not to speak of the matter, which the fatty ofcourse failed but did it matter he spoke only to Lin Feng who gave them plenty of information on Mo Fan, in his eyes he was their guy.

On the fifth day of the second year Lin Feng invited Mu Bai to a secluded discussion.

" Mu Bai I heard that you are going to challenge Mo Fan after he becomes eighteen, do you want to know his birthday?"

" You know it?" Mu Bai eyes glistened, he was a bit ashamed to ask Mo Fan or Mu He directly.

" Of course, but that's not the main thing I'm here for, I also heard that would get your own Star Dust magic tool for two years, damn you lucky guy"

Mu Bai's grin widened as he the adoring words and hmmed. In fact Lin Feng knew all of this and the fact that Mu Zhuoyun wouldn't reassign his magic days from the school as it would indirectly benefit Mo Fan.

" See what I wanted to do was buy the right to use magic tool in your time at a price for two years for 750 thousand. I know it's way below it's value but I only need it two years and you know I can't pay anything more".

Lin Feng knew that Mu Bai would most likely agree to the deal for one million but he had to settle for less since his savings were not much higher. Besides even if the emotional card didn't work it was alright afterall he was the only buyer who could pay any money or atleast this much money and that too because it was insurance money left behind by his parents. As for why he offered was to not let the thing go to Zhao Kunsan.

Stardust magic tool was coveted by everyone but they didn't have a dad like Mo Jiaxing who would mortgage his house for his son's education. Although the deal was pretty much in hand since Mu Bai had no need for it, he couldn't appear too confident lest Mu Bai's current fragile ego be offended.

" Fine, but I want the payment upfront and a contract and no refunds". Although Mu Bai was rich, he would not refuse 750 thousand for something he didn't need.
