Grind for drops! Grind for gems! Grind for Saint Quartz! Grind for Morgan Le Fa-

Oh Woops wrong game. Uh, Terraria grinding! With a few new characters! Let's see how this will go!

————————————————————

"Tengen I'm going to kill you."

"I'll help."

"Ditto."

"You just had to convince them didn't you?"

"What you want from me! It's not my fault she decided to open the chest!?"

"Your the one who convince her to do it!"

Cobalt and a guest watch with blank looks as the miner group bicker back and forth on who's fault it is for the newcomer stuck in a mimics mouth. The mimic kept bouncing around with her inside, trying to chomp through her but couldn't for some reason.

He glanced to the guy with yellow highlights. "It's not too late to leave. The cave entrance is a few steps away."

The guy sweatdropped.

Lets rewind a couple days back.

——————Three days ago———————

After Cobalt big reveal everyone was on board, well semi on board. The idea of gaining the power to kill gods weren't something you can just say yes too easily. So until some sort of proof is shown, they will hold off on believing it.

Urahara and the cat were gonna be gone the next day due to a waves of hollows appearing, If he remembered, it must be the plot to episode 12-14. The Quincy Uryū used hollow bait and endangered eveyone just to flex on Ichigo. Now usually the episode goes with eveyone getting attacked, Ichigo killed a Menos Hollow, meanwhile all his friends power up to fight back against the threat.

Well that is until Ichigo and his sisters decided to finally try out the Napoleon ice cream power up. Now that they can use credits to buy the ice cream, they pooled enough for all three to get a set. The real challenge is eating them all in quick succession.

What did they end with? Well…

———————-Ichigo POV———————

Ichigo gulped as the massive foot of a massive hollow stepped through the sky. Damn you Uryū! The bastard tried to shoot his arrows but they didn't even scratched the damn thing!

"Well it's now or never!" Ichigo shouted and…threw his sword to the side? Uryū glared at him with nearly mad eyes. "How you lost the will to fight Kurosaki!? Typical of you Shinigami!" He aimed his bow at the menos in the futile struggle to survive.

"Shut up! This is your fault in the first place! Now stand back and let me handle it!" He roughly grabbed the black haired boy shoulder and threw him behind him. The menos seemed to had enough of them and started to charge a red ball at its mouth.

Ichigo took a deep breath, closing his eyes, and let it out. Slowly looking up, he met the attacking menos with a look of absolute determination!

Raising his right hand he…began to chant?

"O people…make your appeal,"

The very air seemed to halt, the world began to stagger around him as he felt his new found power blossom inside him.

"Nothing is impossible,"

A ghostly image surround his right arm growing and shaping into a long barrel of some kind.

"Why?"

The world slightly darkened, putting all his focus on stopping the monstrosity in front of him. The ghostly barrel turned solid revealing a massive cannon the size of his zanpakutō. It let out smoke as it shifted and expanded open to reveal a second cannon using the original as a extended barrel. Rainbow like lights glowed as two cylinders shot out and the barrel mouth began to illuminate brightly.

He took aim and with his entire soul!!

"Because I am here!"

The menos fired a Cero at what it believes to be mere prey.

To think it would believe, it can stop the full might of the the French Emperor Napoleone di Buonaparte!!

"Arc de Triomphe de I'Étoile!!"

A geyser of rainbow light shot out the cannon piercing through the Cero and blasted into the menos. "And don't you ever return!" Ichigo roared and in a final burst, the beam widened and swallowed the upper half of the menos.

Uryū fell to his knees and watch the beautiful and deadly beam disintegrate the menos. He didn't even noticed his bow dissipate and the blood trickled down his fingers. To the side Urahara hid his shocked expression behind his fan but the massive grin couldn't stop forming. His two little helper looked at the attack with stars in their eyes, witnessing the power being shown. Tessai glasses shifted a bit to show a wide eyes and shaken pupil. "What power!"

Ichigos arm fell to his side and had to stop himself from falling over. Staggering over his fallen Zanpkutō, he picked it up and used it to help keep himself up. He panted, not believing how powerful the noble phantasm was. He smiled though. "I'm glad. Cobalt…I got to thank you someday. The girls should be okay. Especially…Karin."

Before he passed out, Urahara grabbed his body. "Indeed. And I know just what'll take to repay him."

Little did anyone know, deep in Ichigo soul, a cannon formed next too something white. The two at first clashed but stettled. Slowly they began to merge. Unfortunately it won't be known until he stopped using the borrowed power of another.

———————Cobalt POV———————

Eh, he sure they'll be fine. Beatrice took Elsa back to their world to plan out her escape with her sister from the archbishop of lust.

Corny name but what does he know when he named the world in Latin.

The second day is when Izuku returned with a

…holy shit get this man a meal he's skin and bones!

Cobalt has never seen such a pointy chin more a face so sunken that he swore it's was a single layer of skin and nothing else. "Cobalt! I'm back and I brought someone really important." Izuku said, with a face full of excitement.

"You brought me the living dead? I didn't know you had the power to revive to deceased. Sir would you like me to make you a grave? This place has a quite a sight to be buried under." He offered, pulling out a shovel under the counter.

"IM STILL ALIVE!!" The skeleton said with a cough of blood. "Could've fooled me." Cobalt shrugged put away the shovel.

Izuku nervously scratched his cheek, as this wasn't how he thought the interaction would go. "U-um no I don't have any power like that. Or any for that matter. This is my teacher All Might! The number one hero of Japan in my world."

Cobalt knew who he was but still wanted to tease. "Number one huh? Congratulations on your retirement. You aged quite well but don't strain yourself senior sir."

"IM ONLY IN MY LATE FOURTIES!?"

"Wow…I heard fasting at your age isn't good so please try to eat more."

"STOP MAKING ASSUMPTIONS!!" All Might barked out, his cheeks flushed in embarrassment over his state. Izuku placed his hands on his face to hide the growing second hand embarrassment he's receiving from All Might.

Skeletor coughed to clear away his shame. "Young Midoriya informed me about this place and I must say, I still find it hard to believe. That is until I saw the outside."

He glanced at the window to the great outdoors. He've seen many quirks in his line of work, but he never seen a spacial quirk that could ever hold a fraction to this place. So unless this young man is one of a kind or what Midoriya has said must be true. "This shop…is truly in another world?"

"Correct. Oh have you used what I given you to good use Mido?" Cobalt asked All Green. Izuku nodded held up his wrist to show a forest green watch. "Yeah it's incredible! It has so many functions and even has the ability to act like a phone! I can make calls, look up the internet, check my calorie intake, and so much more!"

Woah. Wait a minute. Since when can the watches do that? Cobalt would have to investigate this at another point.

All Might nodded. "It's quite the invention. He wanted to offer one to me but I wished to confirm if this place is not taking advantage of him. Your wares are said to offer different effects right?"

Cobalt nodded and pulled out a laminated sheet from his counter. He printed out a sheet to show off the prices and effects of his wares so he wouldn't have to keep explaining. "All true. They are a bit weak as of now but currently I working to gain the funds to upgrade them soon." All Might looked over the options with a hand to his chin. "I can convert my currency to credits huh. Very well I'll convert ¥10000 to 100 credits."

"All Might! Are you sure? That's a lot of money." Izuku asked worried but All Might just laughed it off. "Being number one comes with a good pay so don't worry about it. It's not even a dent to my wallet." Cobalt pointed at the item synthesizer and explained how to convert money.

When he converted the money, Cobalt handed him a watch stick of his own. All Might bought one of every item, granting him a a good bit of credits. He'll bring them to Recovery Girl to check them out. "I also heard you offered Young Midoriya to fight some of the enemies in the forest."

"Yep. Should do him some good to get some fights in. Slimes and small robots during the day. Zombies and flying eye balls at night."

"Eyeballs?"

"If your interested in the lore of the world, you'll have to wait till I set out to explore it."

"Oh are you planning a expedition soon Cobalt?" Izuku asked intrigued. Cobalt nodded. "Yeah. This world has a lot of resources that are untouched but it's a very dangerous world. Our first expedition will be tomorrow, underground."

All Might hummed before nodding. "I'll watch over Young Midoriya as he fights the basic ones in the forest. If you like I can send someone who can help with your upcoming expedition."

Cobalt shrugged but didn't deny the offer. "Sure I don't mind more labor. Unfortunately I'll have to bar you Mido. Your a bit too underprepared to join. Besides you gotta keep your focus on training for your entrance exam."

All Might nodded in agreement. "Once you finish your training you may join in future expeditions, if there not too dangerous of course." The young boy was a little bummed but understood anyway. "Can I use healing items when I'm here right?"

"Yep. I didn't lie about that. Dont use that as a excuse to be reckless okay?"

"I promise!"

"Good kid." He ruffled the green locks much to the young boys displeasure. All Might chuckled and joined in making the boy cry out, swatting at our hands. Good lad this one.

"Alright now get to work you. Your not gonna learn by being here but out there. Also don't go past the forest or too deep. Don't want you to get lost."

All Might and Izuku nodded and headed out. As soon as they left for the forest the door, a figure walked past them. Cobalt though it was Tengen when the figure entered with white hair but he realized it was longer. Much longer.

A women with sharp green eyes entered the door, looking around before setting them on him. Another character he doesn't recognize. Sheesh he really should catch up on future animes huh?

As she approached he noticed her ears were pointy. A elf perhaps? Is she from a world where elves were seen as superior beings who are also vegans? Or elves just another ordinary day race?

The women made it to the counter and stared at Cobalt, or through him from how hard she focused on him. "Your aura. It's somehow connected with to this very store. Not only that, the forest the door lead me too is rich in mana. Are you a mage?"

My aura? "Uh no. I'm a merchant with some basic sword training. Nothing magical about me. Though as for the forest your in, it's not something you experienced before right?"

The women nodded. The forest…no the very world was saturated with mana. Breathing in the air felt like her reserves were constantly at peak. Never running out. She could believe emptying her reserves wouldn't take even five minutes to replenish. It was quite fascinating.

Much to Cobalt surprise, the door opened again to another new figure. Today must be a Lucky day for him! It was a young man with brown leather gloves and boots and a dark blue jacket. The color had two orange orbs along with two orbs on the shoulders as well.

Wait a minute. Holy shit!

Cobalt eyes widened and a massive grin grew. He knew who this guy was! The man, the myth and the king of games of his generation!

With a win ratio of 52 wins to 1 lost!

YUSEI FUDO!! His favorite of all protagonist of Yugioh!

"Ano, excuse me can you tell me about this place. Are we still in Satlite?" Yusei asked, looking uncomfortable with the major setting change he's going through. Cobalt shook his head. "Nope. Well thankfully you showed up before I explained it to his lady over here as well. The door you two found are pathways to my shop and world. You two are currently in a whole different world."

Yusei eyes widened as he looked at Cobalt as if he just told him his friends died or something. Meanwhile the lady looked at him surprised but took it better than Yusei for sure.

"In another world? How is that possible? Can I go back?" Yusei quick to recover, started asking a bunch of questions. "You can. All you have to do is walk through the shop doors and it'll lead you back home. Here I made sheets for you new comers."

Cobalt gave the two the laminated sheets explaining the pieces and what the shop offers. Yusei knowing he can return lessens his guard looking over what I have available.

He should invest in a enchantment that just tells people about the shop.

"So each item contains a recovery effect. While they aren't strong it's still impressive. You also accept trades to gain credits or we can work for credits by fighting enemies in the world. I must say, you are quite the merchant." The women said handing back the sheet.

Yusei nodded before looking back at the Gachapon. "For twenty credits anyone can get anything huh? Can it offer parts for machines and such?"

Oh was this Yusei still building his D-Wheeler? So the anime still hasn't happened yet. Currently his ace monster is Junk Warrior and Jack Atlas has his Stardust Dragon. "Pretty much. It can get you a pet rock or a item powerful enough to reshape the world!" Cobalt said with a dramatic tone at the end. "Or a book on 1000 jokes to tell your friends. It's up to how lucky you are."

Yusei and the lady nodded staring at the Gachapon. Now wait a minute I just had a idea. "I never introduced myself, names Cobalt, owner of the Shooting Star. What's yours?"

"I'm Yusei Fudo. I'm from Satalite City."

"Frieren."

"Well you two. This world recently have been developing and I wish to make a expedition to the underground. Resources such a copper, iron, lead or even gems are untouched and ready to be grabbed but the trade is the dangers of the underground." Cobalt explained, seeing both of them gain a interest in their eyes.

"I'm making a team for a upcoming expedition and would like all the hands I can get. Interested?" Frieren hummed, thinking about it. Yusei nodded quickly. "Will we get a share of resources found?"

"Yep. I doubt we can ever actually mine every ore in a single run but I believe everyone can leave with a share." Cobalt wondered what Yusei will do with a bunch of metal. Than again, he's making his D-Wheeler out of scrap so anything is better.

"What of payment?" Frieren asked. Cobalt reached down and pulled out two watch sticks for them explaining what they do. "This shop only accept credits as its currency. So I plan on granting eveyone 100 credits that they can use to convert back to their original currency or buy stuff from the shop. Also a share of anything we find."

It wasn't a lie. Despite not having enough to pay two or much less a whole crowd, the resources such as ore, potential treasure and such will fill up account quickly.

Frieren and Yusei agreed taking the watches. Frieren must be from a world behind technology as she started playing with it, with a slight amazed look in her eye. Yusei took it like fish out of water and nodded in thanks. "Now unless you want buy something or explore the world a bit, the door you went though will be closed until time syncs with my world with yours. Remember to bring people you wish to share my shop with alright."

Yusei nodded and thanked Cobalt for the opportunity, promising to buy something next time. Frieren wanted to explore the forest a bit and left. What Cobalt didn't know was she found a young man with green hair training with a sickly man. When asked why they were training, it lead to a interest that wouldn't go away in Frieren.

Thus bringing us back to the third day. The day of expedition.

Cobalt with the donation of tools from Master Kagaya from the swordsmith village and explosives from Rebecca's group, waited for them to arrive. First to show up was Tengen and Sanemi. The two assigned to protect the group.

Next was Rebecca, Falco and Lucy. They wanted to see if they can earn a share of resources. "Shit like this is practically extinct in our world. We would be stupid not to get a share." Rebecca explained which does make sense. A dystopian world doesn't sound like its rich in resources but the other way around.

Next was Yusei with his own mining gear. "My friends wanted me to grab as much as I can. So they helped scrap up gear for me to help." His friends are a good bunch Cobalt admitted.

As promised All Might send out a guy to help them in the form of the teacher of the support course. Power Loader I believe. His quirk is his fingers that are sharp as iron claws. The perfect hero for the job. He was skeptical about this being a different world until I pointed at the sky. "Ah…yeah that'll do it." When the sky isn't always blue and clear, trends to make it more believable.

Than again, what's stranger? A new world? It a guy in a construction based costume? Which is just a big helmet.

Finally Frierenwas the last to join. She yawned and looked barely awake. "Your not a morning person aren't you?" Cobalt guessed. She shook her head, using a large red and yellow staff to hold herself up.

"Welp that's everyone. So as everyone knows we are on a expedition to the underground. While preparing, thankfully I found a bag of infinite storage, made me broke in a heart beat, so you find something." He pulled out a dark orange bag. He wasn't lying when he went broke buying this. He'll have to mine to regain all the credits and then some. "Put it in the bag. Any questions?"

"You said the underground is dangerous. What could be lurking underground?" Sanemi asked, already looking forward to fight something. "If I remember correctly. There's zombies, killer bats, skeletons, giant worms, zappy jellyfish, maybe a piranha. Give or take the occasional dart trap and falling boulder." The group stared at him in shock.

Rebecca grinned and held up a gun. "Well at least it won't be boring. Wish I knew you had the bag, would've brought more ammo." Falco sighed in exasperation. "You already have enough to raid a Malstrom den. You don't need more."

"One can never have enough ammo!"

"Anymore questions?" Cobalt asked over Rebecca. "Yeah uh, you said treasure can be find right? How we share that?" Power loader said wanting to equally share the resources. "Eh I'm thinking finders keepers unless they don't want it. The chests that are found are also rare material like gold so someone can get the treasure and offer the chest I guess." Cobalt shrugged not really caring.

Everyone nodded and got ready to set out. Cobalt had the book map in hand as they began to track through the forest. Not the first selection of people he would choose, but better then nothing.

The forest can be described as…unreal. The way the trees swayed with the wind, birds of all kind flying, scavenging without a care of the group walking through their grounds.

Cobalt would grab mushrooms and dayblooms as they went on. "Are these ingredients of some kind?" Frieren asked, more awake then when they started. "Yep. Mushrooms and dayblooms are ingredients for health potions. Not only that, dayblooms are used in a variety of potions. Potions of archery, featherfall, Ironskin, mana regeneration, regeneration. Daybloom is quite the important plant to collect and grow."

"Featherfall? Does it make it light like a feather?" Tengen asked drawing everyone attention. A quick lesson on potions won't hurt.

"We'll might as well explain them all. Featherfall indeed makes you light as a feather but only when falling, it's in the name. Ironskin hardens your body to take more damage by a fixed number. The archery potion increases your bow damage by 10% and the speed of the arrow by 20%. Regeneration is self explanatory, mana regeneration as well."

Frieren gave a look of interest. "Such potions can be made? With just daybloom?"

"Not just daybloom. You mix daybloom with glass lens in a bottle of water and it turns into a Archery potion. Don't ask how I have no clue." Cobalt said shrugging. It's up to interpretation to how glass lens turns into a potion ingredient.

"What else can you make with daybloom?" Lucy asked now interest in collecting some herself.

"Uh let's see, a night owl potion, gives you night vision, hunter potion, highlights all creatures you see, shine potion, makes you glow, calming potion, makes less hostile me appear. Am I forgeting one? Oh! A gender change potion." He finished keeping a eye on the map.

When he stopped hearing the sound of steps behind him, he turned to see everyone staring at him with wide eyes. "What? What happened?"

Rebecca was the first to recover. "How does one make a gender change potion?" A mischievous smile growing on her face. Both Lucy and Falco slapped the back of her head. "I can handle a prank or two but if I find out you turned me into a girl I'll shoot you." Falco said with a glare in his eye. "Oh come on! Can you imagine Kiwi or Maine as the opposite genders? It would be hilarious!" She tried defending but Lucy got into her face. "No Rebecca."

She pouted and marched on ahead. Cobalt scratched his head as she stormed past him. "I mean it's probably impossible to make anyway. It requires a herb like daybloom that grows in multiple different areas. Two grow in places I don't think none of us would survive in."

"What are those places like?" Yusei asked. The forest did have the lone slime bouncing about but it didn't look that bad.

"Well one grows in hell."

"Hell!?" Power Loader was appalled! Why was Hell a place of notice!? "Yep. You see if you dig deep enough underground, I'm talking hundreds of miles, you end up in the underworld. A imitation of hell. Demon spawn, lava everywhere. Lava slimes. Also the place where the boss to unlock the worlds progression is located. Not a fun place I'll tell ya."

Yusei could only sweat in response. Maybe this world isn't so safe.

It would take another twenty minutes before Cobalt saw a large grey marker on the map. "I got something! It might be a cave." He pointed to his left and they all checked it out.

In a small clearing was a deep cave leading into the earth. They found a entrance to the underground. "Well everyone start preparing. Water and food is already packed in my bag so don't worry about that. Frieren do you know a spell to leave a trail back to the entrance?"

She nodded. He passed out the tools Master Kagaya given to him out. Shovels and pickaxes of iron quality. Power Loader didn't need one as his hands were good enough.

I pulled out a flashlight and led inside. "Keep close! We can't risk someone getting lost or worse, triggering a trap."

The cave interior was at first dry, with little to show for it other than being dark and wide. The map changed to a 3d image of the cave showing how massive and long it was going the deaper they went.

Cobalt thought it wouldn't be so bad…until it appeared. Around a curve, a golden chest was seen. "Well look at that. Treasure already." Tegen said with a smirk. Frieren went to open it but I held my arm up. "I forgot to mention one type of enemy in the underground. Mimics. Monster chest that pretend to be normal until you get close. It won't wake up or trigger even if you attack from afar." He warned.

It wasn't like dark souls where the chest had a small change in detail to differentiate from actual chest. Tengen hummed and looked at Frieren. "But what are the odds it's a normal chest? I mean we only just started, there's no way a mimic is already here."

What is this dumbass trying to do? "Well guess what genius. That's how unpredictable this world is. Killing mimics do grant you treasure but-."

"Oh really? Hey women. Go open it."

"Okay."

"N-now hold on!" Cobalt tried to stop her but she already was approaching the chest. Sanemi punched Tegen arm. "You dumbass what if it is a mimic? You'll get her killed!"

Tengen waved him off. "Oh please. I doubt something like a mimic would already be here."

Yusei walked up to me and leaned over to whisper. "What are the odds for a mimic to actually appear?"

Cobalt sighed and pointed. Frieren with a smiled went to open the chest-

*CHOMP*

"Chests can appear out in the open or in random locations but most would be in abandoned settlements. If you see a chest out in the open, always assume it's a mimic." The chest in question grew teeth and is trying to pierce through Frieren but something was preventing it from eating her.

It hopped around, trying to use momentum to bite through its pray but no avail.

Everyone turned to glare at Tengen who sweated a bit. Cobalt could sigh as they rip into him and turned to Yusei. "It's not too late to leave. The entrance is close by."

Yusei only deadpanned. "R-right. We should help Frieren out." Cobalt nodded and pulled out his Asauchi.

This trip is already being too much of a hassle. But in the name of his empty account, he'll succeed in getting profit! Have at thee Mimic!

If only he knew it was a start of a long, long trip.
