“I am your genie”

Adams's eyes narrowed trying to find the sarcasm in her words. Who would believe that genie exists, it's the 21st century and those things are history? It's either this girl is lunatic or she's a lunatic. He just burst into laughter, making Jin face turn red because of humiliation. For the first in 100 years, he is the only one who dares to laugh at her. Her past master mostly faints or shocked but never did they laugh at her.

"What's so funny?" she said crossed arms, making herself sit in the air.

"Nothing it's just funny how you consider yourself a genie, who are you the genie in the lamp. I thought Aladdin set you free" Jin sharply looked at Adam; her eyebrows almost touch her hairline. He utters those words full of sarcasm, making her feel more irritated. If only she could use her magic to get back to this man but she can't.

"First of all, I am a genie and the one you mentioned about Aladdin thing, is far more different from what is happening in real life. Second if you won't believe me, then I'll make you" A grin formed in Adam's lips. She can sense a black aura coming from it and it was challenging her, she hates it. He is the only one who dares to challenge her like that. There are no words but the way he looked at her, she knows. She had lived a hundred years and experience a lot of battles, and this kind of look is not new to her.

"Oh you'll make me huh, then make me believe right now" No matter how much she wanted to show him her magic, but she can't. It is against the 'Genie Law' to use magic without a proper signing of the contract.

"I can't, it's against the law" she just looked down on the floor, avoiding his gaze. She just came out of the lamp for a hundred years, committing another sin will imprison her again.

The lamp is both a home and a prison for every genie. Both heaven and hell. Just like humans, genies have a law that they have to obey. The 'Genie Law' is like a holy scriptures to them. It is where all the things a genie must do and must not do. If disobeyed even once, a genie will be locked up in the lamp for years. A genie without sin comes out of the lamp by rubbing it. But it is very much different from those genies who had committed a single crime. Those who have, will atone for their sins. The heavier the sin, the longer the imprisonment.

"Talk about bragging, you can't even prove it" Jin let out a heavy sigh. She was in the lamp for so long, without her someone to give wishes; she will suffer inside the lamp.

"I'm sorry" It is the only thing she could ever say. "It may sound crazy, you may not believe me, but I can surely say, that the light you saw earlier, can it be considered as proof" she looked at him with a little bit of hope in her eyes. Maybe, just maybe, it may help it to make him believe.

Adam examines Jin from head to toe. Indeed she was different from all the girls she had ever seen; judging from the countless of women he had been with. There's a glistening shine in her eyes. And the blackness of her hair is far from the ordinary black, like souls that gather together in her head. And her skin is like a snowman just came out of the freezer; cold.

Adam just let out a sigh before looking at her with assurance. It sounds crazy, but judging from what he had experienced while ago, it did sound strange and to the fact that his guards couldn't even see her where she just in front of them. Jin smiled at him.

"Fine, I'll think about. Just go back to your lamp or whatsoever" "NO!" It was a very quick response from her. Why is she looked so afraid of going back to her home, or to wherever she came from?

Adams curiosity arouses. The ways she looks right now bring back memories, when he had his near-death experience when he was a kid. Locked up by his kidnappers inside a big freezer; the only thing he could hear at that moment is his fear, shouting inside the emptiness of the cooler. It was the scariest thing, scary than any bullet that hit him. He wouldn't want to experience that ever again.

"Why?"

"Oh you wouldn't want to know" She was so sure. What happens to her hundred years ago is something that she wouldn't want to remember.

Jin started to walk and went to the sofa. It was so soft that she couldn't even remember what soft is like.

"I'll stay here till you say yes and don't worry nobody can see me unless you signed the contract"

"Wha…" Jin fell asleep before he could even talk. "Seriously this woman," he said shaking his head

A few hours later...

"How can a beautiful woman be this loud?"

It's been hours and all he could hear is the loud snoring of Jin soundly sleeping in his office sofa. She's been roaring the moment she had closed her eyes making Adam distracted and couldn't even finish his work. Adam sat up from his seat and walks towards the sleeping tiger. He looked at her, eyes wide open. She was drooling a gummy bear.

"What the fuck! Hey woman get up I know you're awake"

"H-huh?" Jin sat from sleep rubbing her eyes.

"Get out your too noisy, I can't focus" This time around, it was Jin who's grinning. "Make me"

He just looks at her. "You know, you can just sign the contract and you can order me around, it's just that easy" With narrowed eyes, Adam said a straight NO at her.

Days past, Jin is still in the office, bugging Adam every day.

"Adam I'm hungry, I want some food!"

"I'm bored!"

"What are you doing?"

"I'm hungry!!"

"Let's play!"

"I want to sleep"

She was like that in the past few days, making Adam unable to work. And he can't even get her out of the office. Before he could even remember, he was already tired of her.

"Hey Adam, wake me up if dinner is ready" Yes, she followed Adam in his house; she was like his shadow, that even in the bath she follows him.

"Jin, tell me about this contract" before Jin could even close her eyes, in a snap she was already in front of Adam, Smiling that her lips almost reached her ears.

"Oh Adam, you just have the best decision in your life"
