Afterlife

The last colourful thing that Esdeath has seen, was the pale face of her lover's dead body. She has died with Tatsumi, in her hands. Obviously, it was the first time Esdeath has died. So it was a completely new experience for her. After death, she was anticipating her consciousness to fade away completely. But to her surprise for complete consciousness along with her memories stayed with her. You just found herself in a black void. The place was entirely black. She couldn't see anything. Even herself. She couldn't feel anything. The only thing she could do, was think. It was odd.

The entire thing was very odd for her. For Esdeath, there should be no after death. When someone dies then he/she just dies. That's it. Their body eventually rots away. She simply couldn't fathom how someone's consciousness could stay intact even after their death.

'Does that mean somewhere my Tatsumi's consciousness is also existing ?'

But her thought stayed with her without getting answered by anyone since there is no one for her to answer. At first, Esdeath thought about keeping the mental note of time. But after counting for 6 months she simply gave up.

While she was in the void, at one time someone tried to invade her consciousness. But it wasn't just a thought. It was an outside consciousness along with some kind of foreign energy that she didn't recognise.

She tried to fight it and some how supressed it. But the foreign energy still merged with her.

Unknown time after that incident, Esdeath suddenly felt her body. It was a weird feeling. As if she is not fully conscious and yet she was feeling every part of her body being squeezed painfully.

Then she realised it. Even if she has gotten a chance to loose her virginity in her last life, and obviously never gotten a chance to carry a child because she was too busy to not being the weak, it wasn't hard for her to speculate that she was being born. I mean she has heard about women giving birth and their experiences.

But that speculation alone sent her into an existential crisis. Why in the world she was getting reborn I mean she have heard about it and the reincarnation shits in many folklores, but, she never thought that it would be real.

The squeezing got intense. But it was far from being discomfort for Esdeath. Although, she knew that it was her own body, there was something different. Something foreign. Similar to the time when that foreign consciousness tried to invade her own. That energy. But...But...

Esdeath suddenly realised that her thoughts were being fragmented.

But then suddenly the squeezing feeling disappeared completely.

Esdeath realised that her heart was beating. Then she realised that her nightmare has become truth. The only thing she would dread, has become reality. She is an utterly powerless newborn.

"Noaaaaa !" Involuntarily Esdeath cried out. But recognising her own voice, she immidiately shut up.

Esdeath has a very simple philosophy.

Survival of the fittest. In other words, if you are weak, then the strong will kill you and you won't complain, because you can't complain ! It is very simple yet very true for her previous world and somewhat correct for her current world. Obviously Esdeath was unaware about that.

But that matter aside, someone who have respected strength than anything else in her entire previous life, becoming a powerless baby was the worse punishment she could get for all of the sins combined.

At that moment, Esdeath hated herself and her powerlessness even in her afterlife.

"Noaaaaa !"

Hearing the brief sound of the baby crying made Kushina relaxed.

The first thing she was going to do after getting out from there was to strangle Minato and Mikoto.

The first Mi, because he made her pregnant. While she still remember that wonderful night of pleasure, the aftermath is not that wonderful. She was happy for becoming a mother. But the process was not that plesant.

The second Mi, was because, her best friend had guaranteed that it won't hurt much. Just a little pain.

'Just a little pain my ass !' Kushina wanted to scream. But she was too exhausted and exited to do that.

"Congratulations ! You have a healthy baby girl !" The middle woman, Sarutobi Biwako took the child for Kushina to see. Minato was excitedly rushing forward. But one glare from Kushina who is enough to stop him in his tracks.

There is no way Kushina would let him see their child first after all the pain she just went through.

Kushina was anticipating a son. Thinking about the name Naruto. Now they have to think about another name. While Naruto can be considered a somewhat gender neutral, she wanted to give her baby girl a proper name.

Kushina looked at her child for the first time. Straight and smooth blonde hair and closed eyes. A frowning face of a baby greeted her. It was cute. Kushina started to gush when she realised that Minato was also trying to take a peak.

This time she didn't shoo him away.

"She has taken my hair colour and your hairstyle." Minato said softly.

Kushina stayed silent. It was rare for her to stay silent. But she just wanted to enjoy the happy moments. Everything has gone fine. Even the problem of the nine tails was handled perfectly.

"That's enough. Let me wash her up. And you keep away your hands from the baby ! Mother must breastfeed her first before she could go to you !" After Biwako scolded Minato, he went away from them.

Minato was too happy to act like the kage. But his happiness didn't last long.

The night that was supposed to be one of the happiest night of his family, turned into the darkest night, in a few moments.

...

Esdeath hated it. The feeling of being manhandled just because she was weak. It was her fault that she was weak. So she has no right to complain becoming manhandled.

Then after a few moments of rest, she felt pain again. As if someone has stabbed her in the abdomen. She was used to pain so it was nothing.

But as soon as the pain ended, Esdeath found herself in a frost forest filled with ice and a giant cage.

She was back in her adult form.

Inside the cage, there was an angry looking massive fox with nine tails.

AN: The prologue will continue for first twenty chapters. And get ready for some child abuse. No rape, but some serious stuff that will make your blood boil. But it will make the revenge even more sweet.

That's all about the story.

After returning from the trip, I have been suffering from a viral flu and severe headache. So I haven't been able to post more than three chapters. This problem won't stay for long.
