The Murderer

"Hey! Come on!" Jimin suddenly knocked on the window... startling us.

"Let's go," Taehyung coughs, awkwardly putting the jewel box away. Nothing happened, stay calm Sora.

"Hey," I smiled when Jimin pulled the car door open for me.

"My lady..." Jimin grins, helping me onto my feet. Very flirty, he's being very flirty.

"I have to say that you look really beautiful tonight," Jimin grins, nudging my shoulder with his arm.

"Thank you," I shyly smiled at him. I don't usually get compliments and when I do receive one- I have no idea how to respond to it. I'm so dumb.

"Yah hajima. You're making her uncomfortable," Taehyung bitterly circled his car.

"What do you mean? Compliments are supposed to make you feel better," Jimin whines at Taehyung in a funny tone, making me chuckle.

"You're handsome," I grinned at Jimin. He's wearing a sparkling tuxedo with a white turtle neck.

"Omo, my heart," Jimin playfully gasped while clenching his heart. He's funny.

"What? Did I make it sound weird?" I asked worriedly when Jimin chuckled at me.

"Ani, you're so cute when you said that. Thank you," Jimin shook his head while smiling at me. Caught off guard by his words, I playfully smacked his arm.

"Let's go," Taehyung suddenly dragged me with him.

"Don't let your guard down," Jimin spoke in a low tone while walking beside me. Suddenly the bright energy around Jimin disappeared and was replaced by the darkness instead. It's weird how all the alphas can change so quickly. One moment they're soft and fluffy and the next minute they're ready to kill.

"Stay close," Taehyung linked his fingers with mine. No matter how many times we did it... I'll never get used to it. Holding hands with him makes me feel weird. The only hand I want to hold on to is Yoongi's.

"GUYS! Welcome!!" Hoseok appeared, beaming at us as usual.

"The birthday boy," Jimin greeted Hoseok.

"And the hot couple," Hoseok winks at me and Taehyung with a bright smile.

"Get yourself comfy! It's just starting! Come on!!" Hoseok drags us towards the bar. The place was crowded with people in fancy clothes. Except there were no adults, just young adults. Rich, spoiled, and rude brats.

"Here," Taehyung handed me a glass of wine but I shook my head to refuse his offer.

"No, I don't like it," I shook my head and pushed the glass away from me. I hate hangovers.

"I'll drink it," Jimin offered, taking the glass of wine from Taehyung and immediately chugged it all down in one go.

"Yah. Stop trying to act cool in front of her- You might choke and die," Taehyung scolds, snatching the glass from Jimin like an older brother.

"I'll be fine," Jimin chuckles and winks at me.

"Pretty," Namjoon suddenly appears with Seokjin.

"Thank you," I awkwardly nodded. Too many compliments. I feel so weird. Should I react properly to it? How though?

"Should we enjoy ourselves?" Seokjin offered me a glass of wine, but Taehyung immediately snatched it out of his grip.

"That was for her!" Seokjin snaps in annoyance as Taehyung quickly drains the wine from the glass.

"She doesn't drink," Jimin pats Seokjin's shoulder.

"You're too pure for your own good," Namjoon chuckles, taking a sip from his glass. He has this "I know everything about you look" on him all the time. It's kind of scary.

"Yah Hoseok! Come here," Seokjin called for Hoseok, who was pushing his way through the crowd.

"Wait. I'll be right back!" Hoseok replied from the other end of the crowd.

"Taehyung. I need to use the restroom," I whispered, leaning upward to inform him.

"Should I-"

"It's fine, just tell me where it's at," I said quietly. I just feel like puking because I'm too nervous.

"It's down the hallway, turn right. I'll wait at the corner," Taehyung waddled through the crowd with his hand clenched tightly around my wrist. I quickly walked down the hallway in a hurry. I'm gonna puke- I'm gonna puke!

"IT'S MY BIRTHDAY! I CAN DO WHATEVER I WANT!" Someone screamed at the corner, so I stopped dead in the corridor. What the... huh???

"WHATEVER!!" Hoseok screamed and then there was a loud THUD as if he punched or kicked something out of anger. I quickly hid in the other corridor to let him pass. What's going on? He sounds upset.

"He's gone," I whispered, peeking at the empty hallway. I don't really feel like puking anymore, but I used the restroom anyways.

THUD. I stopped dead again as I made my way back to Taehyung.

"Huh...?" I whispered, turning to look behind me but there was nothing. Am I imagining stuff? Sora! You didn't even drink yet!

"THUD THUD- BANG," I froze in fear when I heard it again. The sound wasn't from the hallway. It's from a room down the hallway.

"What the hell...?" I whispered, staring at the wooden door by the end of the hallway in confusion. It was so quiet, I could hear heavy movements from the room... almost like someone was dragging themselves. Sora, mind your own business and leave!- What if someone needs help?!

"Is someone inside?" I questioned, knocking on the door nervously. There was a long pause while I pressed my ear against the door before I heard the movements again.

"Are you okay?" I banged on the door when I heard unsteady grunts from the room. I quickly turned the knob and surprisingly... the door wasn't locked.

"Omo! Are you okay?" I froze in shock when I found Hoseok lying on the floor. He's hyperventilating.

"I'll call for help!"

"No!" Hoseok gasped, extending out his arms in difficulty to stop me.

"You're hurt!" I argued in fear. HE NEEDS HELP!

"Ju-just.... grab... me th-the... medicine," Hoseok weakly pointed at the drawer by his bed.

"Oh," I rushed towards the drawer and pulled it open, and to my surprise, there were a few bars of Snickers and a handgun. My heart started to race so fast- I felt like I was going to faint from the pressure.

"Here it is," I grabbed the orange medical bottle and rushed back to Hoseok.

"Here," I shakily spilled the tablets and pushed them into his mouth.

"Urgh..." Hoseok groaned and twisted his face in pain. I helped him into a sitting position, so he gasped in difficulty and lowered his face to recollect his consciousness. Does he have some kind of allergy? Disorder? Panic attack? It was weird to see him in pain when he was always bright and cheerful. He must've fallen when he tried to grab the medicine because the desk and chairs weren't in the right place.

"Are you okay...?" I asked while staring at him. He was leaning against the foot of his bed with his eyes shut. Slowly he reached out for my hand and held it tightly.

"What are you doing?" I questioned, trying to pull away.

"It's okay- I won't hurt you. Jebal... this helps... just let me- I need warmth," Hoseok tightens his grip as he breathes deeply to calm his body. What's wrong with him? I didn't know what to do so I sat there with him in silence as he tried to recollect his consciousness. I had the urge to ask him questions but I figured it was best if I stayed quiet.

"We should return to the party," Hoseok finally opened his eyes.

"Are you sure you're okay?" I asked worriedly.

"I'm fine," He gulped and stared at me without blinking. I unsurely examined his pale face in silence.

"We should go," I nodded, pulling my hands free, and quickly got onto my feet.

"Thank you," Hoseok whispered as he pushed himself off the floor.

"You should keep the medicine close by," I advised and patted my dress.

"Please don't tell anyone about this," Hoseok rubbed his forehead.

"Of course," I nodded awkwardly before walking out of the room.

"How's your boyfriend doing?" Hoseok asks, breaking the awkwardness as we walk down the hallway.

"Yoo- Taehyung?" I almost said Yoongi but managed to stop myself.

"No, Yoongi. Min Yoongi. You don't have to lie," Hoseok chuckles. Does he know? What? Wait. He mentioned it once at the canteen.

"What? Why are you looking at me like that? A few of us know about it," Hoseok shrugged as I stared at him in shock.

"Who?" I asked Hoseok nervously. How on earth did they know!?

"Minho, Mira, Seojin, and Namjoon know too," Hoseok replied as he led me through the corridor.

"It's one of you..." I whispered to myself after realizing the truth. Only a few of them know and- Oh my god.

"What did you say?" Hoseok turned to look at me with a weak smile.

"Huh-oh- no. Nothing," I blinked a few times to gather my thoughts.

"SORA!" Taehyung voice called out for me when we got back to the bar.

"Taehyung," I blinked, nervously approaching him.

"Where have you been? I've been looking for you!" Taehyung scolds me when I reach him.

"I-I was..."

"I took her for a tour in my art gallery," Hoseok beamed at Taehyung.

"Did he hurt you?" Taehyung asked, scanning my body worriedly and darted Hoseok a piercing glare.

"Um... no," I shook my head. I can't tell Taehyung about what happened, can I?

"See," Hoseok smiled at me with a thankful expression.

"She's here too?" A feminine voice chirped from behind us. Oh no... not her again.

"Mira, go away," Taehyung turned to glare at her in frustration.

"You remember my name now," Mira appeared in an elegant slit dress with her arms crossed.

"Get out of my face before I punch you," Taehyung turned to glare at Minho, whose nose was bandaged from the wound Taehyung inflicted on him.

"Yah. You almost broke my nose. I'm here to take my revenge," Minho gritted lowly. Taehyung let out a mocking chuckle as he leans against the counter with a smug smile.

"This is my birthday party- You guys can't fight!" Hoseok snapped at the tensed alphas in panic.

"Why are you fighting for this average, Taehyung-shi? Or are you fighting for that average guy?" Mira smirked at Taehyung. He clenched his fist at her smug expression. People suddenly surrounded us after noticing the tension between the top alphas.

"Why would I fight for that average guy?" Taehyung pressed his tongue against the inner side of his mouth.

"He got beat up pretty badly. Did this poor bitch convince you to turn against us because of her pathetic boyfriend?" Mira smirked at me.

"What did you just call me?" I gritted when I heard her rude words.

"Apologize," Taehyung demanded. Mira huffed in disbelief... and rolled her eyes at him.

"Why should I? She's a whore- OW" Mira shrieked when I slapped her hard across her cheek, sending her stumbling to the side.

"Oh my god," Someone gasps as Mira rubs her flaming red cheek in shock. The crowd fell silent at my violent response to her mockery. All eyes were on me. She shouldn't have called me that. She shouldn't have-

"How dare you harm her?!" Minho growled, launching at me but Taehyung quickly shoved him onto the floor.

"You're dead- You average shit!" Mira screamed at me in anger.

"I'm not afraid of you," I seethed, sternly staring at her with a straight face. Does she think I'm afraid? Even if I die, I'm not scared of her.

"YAHHHH!" Mira screamed in rage and rushed towards me.

"Shit," I flinched backward in shock.

"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING- LET ME GO!" Mira screamed when someone grabbed the collar of her dress. The crowd gasped in shock.

"Hajima," Jungkook dawdles, yanking her away from me. Oh? He came to the party too?

"This is none of your business! Let me go!" Mira screamed as Jungkook tightened his grip around the back collar of her dress.

"It is my business. You sent people after that average guy. Tell me, Mira. Why? Why hurt an average? Did he threaten you that badly?" Jungkook chuckles smugly at Mira.

"Wha-what..." Mira's face turned pale at Jungkook's words.

"It's funny how you made Minho your scapegoat," Jungkook smiles after releasing Mira, so she backed away from him with a terrified expression.

"What are you talking about?" Minho asks in confusion... slowly turning to look at Mira and Jungkook. What the hell is going on?

"Should I explain or should you confess to your crime, Mira-shi?" Jungkook smugly lowered his face to stare at Mira, whose eyes were filled with tears and terror.

"I-I... I-"

CRASH. Mira was cut short when Taehyung hurled his glass onto the floor... startling everyone. The glass shattered all over the floor in front of Mira. Taehyung was breathing heavily... fiercely glaring at her in anger. He's upset again... and the darkness... it's back.
