Lance was lingering and kissing her face until Paige had to kick him for him to finally leave.

Jace had already come out, looking at this spectacle.

"He wasn't like this during these five years."

Paige turned around, surprised that the other to talk to her.

She raised her eyebrows in askance of what the other meant.

Jace saw the car having fully left their view and took a step closer to her.

"He was first angry and insane, then obsessed and insane, then silent and obsessed, then calculating, obsessed and insane." He took a little step closer with each word he spoke.

Paige looked back in the direction the car with Lance had left, thinking of there being someone who had never given up on searching for her.

"How sweet..." She mumbled.
