"Huh? What does this guy want to do?" someone asked in confusion as they saw Xue Jing walking toward them.
"Wait, what is he holding in his hand..." A short-haired guy suddenly pointed at Xue Jing's right hand.
"A brick?"
"He doesn't think that picking up a brick from the ground will be intimidating, does he? Hahaha, what can a brick do?" someone said disdainfully, weighing the metal baseball bat in his hand.
Everyone approached Xue Jing with grins on their faces.
On the quiet street at night, on one side were a dozen gangsters in groups, and on the other side was a lone, seemingly weak student in a school uniform. Both sides slowly approached each other.
Xue Jing walked forward, relying on the instinctive feel for throwing that came with his aiming skills, estimating the distance.
When the distance between the two sides was less than 20 meters, Xue Jing stopped.
'Almost.'
Feeling that this was an excellent throwing distance, Xue Jing raised the half-red brick in his hand, roughly the size of a fist.
"That kid wants to throw the brick! Be careful!" someone warned.
As soon as the warning was given, the head of the man with a buzz cut next to him suddenly busted.
"Wack!!"
"Ah!!"
The red brick shattered, sending fragments flying everywhere, leaving several wounds on his face. Many fragments also penetrated his eyes, causing him to scream.
The man with the buzz cut, hit in the head by the brick, fell to the ground without a sound. A huge gash opened on his forehead, and blood gushed out.
"Fuck!"
"What the hell!?"
"Someone got hit!?"
"That was the brick thrown by that kid!"
"Shenghua fainted!"
"Damn it, get him, hurry up!"
In the chaos, some people rushed to help the injured man, some stood stunned, but most immediately charged toward Xue Jing.
However, the moment Xue Jing threw the half-red brick, he turned and ran without hesitation.
"Fuck, chase him!"
"Don't run, you little bastard! I'm going to kill your whole family! Fuck you!"
...
A few minutes later, everyone stopped, panting and watching the back of the fleeing school uniform in the distance.
It was impossible to catch up!
As soon as they stopped, Xue Jing also stopped and slowly turned around.
Everyone had a bad feeling.
Soon, their premonition came true.
The streets of the South City District were filled with various kinds of garbage.
Xue Jing picked up a glass beer bottle from the ground.
Seeing this, the gangsters immediately panicked.
"Fuck, find cover!"
"Get out of the way, hide here!"
Some pushed each other, fighting for space behind a plastic trash can.
"Scatter quickly!"
In the chaos, the beer bottle flew through the air, hitting one of the tall, thin young men who couldn't dodge in time.
"Smash!"
"Ah!!"
The tall, thin young man covered his head, blood flowing through his fingers. "He's got nothing in his hand now, hurry up!"
He seemed to be a small leader, and the people around him, seeing him give orders, quickly emerged from their hiding places. However, Xue Jing had already run far away.
Everyone looked at each other, uncertain about whether to chase him.
"Why are you standing there? Chase him!" the tall, thin young man shouted angrily.
Seeing this, the group reluctantly resumed their chase after Xue Jing. However, after chasing him several times, their stamina waned. This time, they didn't last long before most of them began to slow down.
As they slowed, Xue Jing noticed and stopped.
"This..."
Everyone swallowed nervously, watching as the good-looking boy in the school uniform slowly turned around.
Seeing Xue Jing pick up something from the ground again, panic spread through the group.
"Run!"
At the shout, those who had already been hesitant scattered like frightened animals, desperately seeking cover.
"Get out of the way, I was here first!"
"What the fuck are you pushing for? Get out of the way!"
"Fuck, get the hell out of my way!"
Facing an enemy who was always out of reach and who could take them out with random objects, fear settled in.
Regret and dread filled everyone's hearts.
"Damn, whose idea was it to target this student from the affiliated high school!?"
"Swish!"
A rusty steel bar, more than 30 centimeters long and as thick as a finger, flew like a sharp arrow toward the group.
"Puff!"
A gangster hiding behind a thin metal shed gasped, barely avoiding being impaled by the steel bar. His legs gave way, and he collapsed, looking up to see Xue Jing in the distance, bending down again to pick something up.
"Oh my god!!!"
The gangster screamed and ran away from Xue Jing as fast as he could.
But before he could get far, a small piece of concrete block flew from the distance, striking the back of his head with pinpoint accuracy. The impact shattered the concrete and knocked him down.
"Run, run, run!"
The crowd had no intention of resisting; they were terrified and fled back the way they came.
And so, the situation reversed.
On the dark streets of the South City District, a bizarre scene unfolded.
A dozen street youths with dyed hair and tattoos ran, crying for help, pursued by a good-looking student in a school uniform, who would occasionally pick up debris from the ground and hurl it at them with pinpoint accuracy.
The weapons they had dropped became ammunition for Xue Jing.
"Here they come again!"
"Brother! Dad! Grandpa! Please, don't throw it!"
"I surrender, I surrender! Please, stop throwing!"
Their cries echoed through the streets, alerting the residents. Windows opened, and people leaned out to witness the unbelievable sight.
"Hey, isn't that the Razor Gang? What's going on?"
"Is it another gang trying to take their territory?"
"No, why is there a student? It looks like he's wearing the school uniform from the affiliated high school."
"This is bizarre. Why are they being chased by a student?"
A young man with yellow hair couldn't run anymore and stopped to catch his breath.
At that moment, a nightmarish figure appeared beside him.
The yellow-haired young man turned to see Xue Jing standing expressionless, his cold and sharp eyes locked on him. Xue Jing held a metal baseball bat in his hand.
"...Please, spare me," the yellow-haired young man pleaded, fear evident in his eyes, as he smoothly dropped to his knees.
"Bang!"
The whistling baseball bat struck his left ear with a hard blow, sending him flying several meters. He lay on the ground, motionless and bleeding.
Xue Jing picked up the bloodied bat and slowly walked toward the remaining gangsters, who could barely run anymore.
The bat dragged on the ground, the metal scraping against the concrete, producing a chilling sound.
His steps were measured, and each one seemed to echo ominously in the quiet night, striking fear into their hearts.
