"What made you think I'm not human?" Fanfar discreetly glanced at himself, running his fingers over his cheek to check for any traces of glitter.
"This is a vampire sense," Luna replied with a smile.
"You sound like you know something," Fanfar said, noticing that his skin hadn't shown any glitter, at least not that he could see.
"Honestly, I feel like no one in the house is really human," Luna muttered.
"Killian is definitely not human," Fanfar thought out loud.
"And not Jazz either," Luna said.
"You're obsessed with Jazz," Fanfar mocked.
“I prefer classical music,” Luna said with a smile.
The wooden staircase creaked beneath their feet as Luna led the way up the clock tower. The spiraling steps stretched into darkness, illuminated only by faint beams of moonlight seeping through the aged cracks in the walls. She took a brief pause and let out a soft giggle, adding a lively touch to her gentle voice. "And I want you to know, Vena more beautiful than Jazz."
