Abandon Her

THE man had no answers to those questions. Even he couldn't explain how he'd gotten that triggered to the extent that he felt that vulnerable in front of his wife. He would never really want her to see him like that. Him as a whole was already considered weird by most people, and he was sure she thought the same even if she never showed or said it. His breakdown probably already made it worse. 

"It's been four years since you had that sort of breakdown. What do we do? Do we have to call?" 

"I'm fine," Valeric said. "I misunderstood what I saw in her eyes. I'm fine. I'm not going to go through that again and have to sit hours alone to myself." 

"But you know that is the only way you can heal. You have to-"

"Do you want me to abandon her?"
