The exhaustion was so deep that even the soothing touch of Raven's hands couldn't completely dispel it.
"Does it hurt a lot?" Raven asked, his voice tinged with concern as he continued to work his fingers gently over the tense muscles.
"Rather than pain, it's more like… everything feels knotted together," she replied, her voice soft and a little breathless. The tension in her body had built up over the day, and now it was making itself known with every touch.
Raven's hands moved skillfully over her back, his fingers tracing the curves of her body with practiced ease. He kneaded the muscles gently; his touch was very careful, knowing exactly how much pressure to apply to ease her discomfort without causing her pain.
As he continued, the knots in Seraphina's back slowly began to unwind, the tension melting away under his ministrations. She could feel her body relaxing, the fatigue slowly giving way to a sense of warmth and comfort.
