Do You Want To Be A Hero? (17) | The Masked Rider Hero Has Arrived (Again)
Everyone was shocked to see that the person behind the armor was a woman—seemingly a blonde young woman—and that young woman was showing a dread-filled, terrified expression... as if the sludge armor was controlling her...!
"So that's why it has a new quirk... it managed to hijack a body after all...!" All Might cursed upon seeing revelation and the terrified visage of the young woman.
He truly cursed himself, for because of his blunder, an innocent person had to suffer...
But... for the young man beside him, Izuku...
He instantly recognized the young woman under the sludge armor. It was the person he had fought with just that morning... and that person had been on his mind since then...!
And... as if a cruel reminder to him... the very person herself then looked toward the direction of both him and All Might, even from such a far distance...
But specifically toward Izuku... as he and the young woman locked eyes with each other in a brief yet eternal exchange.
"Katsuki...!" Izuku muttered the young woman's name, his own eyes narrowing with conflicted emotions as he stared at Katsuki's terrified expression.
As soon as they recognized each other's presence, the sludge violently took over Katsuki once again, covering her face with the same grotesque helmet...!
It then continued its rampage, unleashing another wave of destruction with even greater ferocity...!
All Might cursed himself once more... but he gritted his teeth and clenched his fists even tighter...!
The frail hero... no, the MIGHTY hero was ready to transform back to his original hero form... and try to save the young woman—!
However, the young man beside him had already beaten him to it!
Izuku sprinted toward the source of the chaos, leaving behind All Might, who was shocked by the young man's sudden, deliberate action.
"Young man!? What are you doing?!" All Might's voice rang out, filled with urgency as he reached out his hand in a vain attempt to stop him. "Go back! It's too dangerous!"
But his words fell on deaf ears as Izuku continued running toward the crowds that had gathered just outside the battlefield...!
As Izuku ran, All Might noticed something unusual—the young man's right hand began to rise, and a digitized aura slowly surrounded it...!
"Wait... is he going to use his quirk...?" All Might muttered, trying to make sense of the digital-like aura forming around the young man's hand.
Perhaps this was the quirk that had given the young man such a confident demeanor earlier.
All Might recalled catching a glimpse of the young man's abilities during the sludge villain's capture inside the tunnel, but he hadn't given it much thought—until now.
Now, All Might couldn't help but wonder if this young man was about to use his quirk to save the young woman—!
"What the...!?" All Might gasped in shock as he watched the digitized aura around Izuku's hand intensify.
Out of thin air, an object suddenly materialized...! But it wasn't just any object—it was a white apparatus.
"...!"
All Might fell into stunned silence as he stared at the strange... yet familiar apparatus on the young man's hand.
He had heard of such an apparatus from a certain young woman just this morning... and now, he began to piece together all the information he was witnessing.
The young man... then placed the white apparatus on his abdomen, and a metallic belt suddenly materialized around his waist!
[IMAGI FUSION DRIVER!]
The device announced its existence to the world, though only All Might seemed to hear it, as all the other witnesses were too preoccupied with the chaos unfolding before them.
Then Izuku raised both of his hands to the air, and both hands began to be surrounded by the same digitized aura. Soon... two small, compact, USB-like devices materialized in his grasp...!
Without hesitation, Izuku grasped both objects and pressed the buttons on top of each USB-like device.
[GRASSHOPPER!]
[METAL!]
Both objects announced themselves just as the white apparatus had before... and then he swiftly inserted them into the white apparatus.
[GRASSHOPPER!]
[METAL!]
[PERFECT FUSION!]
The white apparatus continued to announce its seemingly strange actions for the world to hear, but once again, nobody seemed to notice—except for All Might, who narrowed his eyes in focused observation of the young man's deliberate actions...!
Izuku... then pressed both triggers on the top corners of the apparatus and whispered loudly...
"Henshin."
Suddenly, the world around the green haired young man was bathed in a blinding light, obscuring his figure from All Might's vision!
The observing hero had to shield his eyes for a moment but managed to catch a glimpse of the young man's silhouette...!
Izuku's entire body began to be enveloped by the light... and then, that light morphed into armor—Green Metallic Armor...!
The crowd finally noticed the brilliant light emanating from behind them, but by then, it was already too late. Izuku's head was already covered with a green metallic helmet, its large red bug-eye visor glowing ominously.
The now fully armored young man had leaped high and soared above them!
[THE ARMORED JUMPING RIDER!]
[METAL HOPPER!]
His apparatus announced once more, declaring his shining armored presence, drawing the attention of everyone as they watched the newcomer soared them!
The armored figure landed perfectly in front of the crowd and the other pro heroes, standing upright and boldly facing the hideous sludge-armored villain that was controlling the young woman...
His precious childhood friend.
And there... the world finally witnessed the first true appearance of the would-be legendary Rider Hero.

AUTHOR NOTE:
Well, after so long (again), I finally managed to upload chapters to this fanfiction of mine.
Well, not much I could say here other than sorry for the hiatus.
I had a lot of stuff going on on my side, and things got a bit hectic.
I was also still trying to write an original novel that would sell, but it was trial and error.
Well, anyway. I would try to upload as much as I could, as right now I'm mainly trying to write for a living, which I kind of fail miserably at this moment.
Well, enough of that for now...
Sorry again, but I would have to "blue-balled" you lads here again for a moment as, again, I'm kind of busy trying to establish a new original novel.
If you guys could wait, then I promise that I will upload more of this fanfiction.
I do like writing this, but seriously, I don't get money from this, so I could not write this thing forever unless I somehow got a stable income.
